Best Celebrants Poems
A field afire
papery petals glow like ruby votive candles
a collection of cupped solar flames
vowed to shine despite the dew before dawn
evaporating any doubt the sun would rise
the mist would lift
consoling one in darkness
Rising up where wildflowers past have fallen
victim to soil fallow and shallow
your Spring growth resurrects my hope
as your resurgent blooms stretch to the heavens
I awaken thawed from the frost of loss
regenerated by dreams
of undying love sacrifice and joy
O poppy blood red
vast your bed a symbol of life and death
and imagination.. you inspire me with your irony
your roots belie a feathery foliage
anchored though airy
light and looking like you might take flight
but spirited blossoms stand an army of angels
earthbound and blushing
My breath stops when I gaze upon you — yet
when I walk among your thronging whorls
grazed by your grace
my chest rises and falls
my bloodstream set ablaze
by the grandeur of your inner light
my heart rejoices with the voices of breezes
aswirl with a swish through your scarlet banners of peace
We share a savor for new-day chardonnay skies
tender the warm tinge before summer’s singe
rhythmic air moves us with singsong sighs
a swaying dance of sepaled celebrants
with nary a fresh bud trod upon
crimson and sunrise spirit and flesh
raising palms and psalms in thanks and praise
festive in rebirth and remembrance
where tears fall not as rain but as
c o n f e t t i
as my heart carries the bouquet of your immortal beauty
like a bride on her May wedding day

Melting away is the year 2024.
We powered through or failed, but the hour is no more.
For the New Year celebrants, tonight gives no clue,
But I wish a year of happiness to everyone of you.
Happy New Year.
Percussion plays once in a while beyond its curtain
In duo with the flash of paparazzi’s capturing film
Prelude to an exhilaration of blissful days’ chain
Where rain and sunshine smack on a rainbow beam
In duo with the flash of paparazzi’s capturing film
Buoying up the breeze as it dances and toasts its grace
When rain and sunshine smack on a rainbow beam
Blissful days of October, in wide open arms…embrace
Buoying up the breeze as it dances, toasts its grace
Petal-litters bounce and float on air in tranquil glade
Blissful days of October, in wide open arms…embrace
As green grasses bud out from densely colored bed

This humble composition was also inspired by the form (not for the contest ) and the highlights of the month below:
Autumn Season (although there are unexpected rainfalls/thunderstorms here in T) ,Holy Rosary Month, Vegetarian Festival (in my place) , Halloween and LIBRANS-SORPIONS BIRTHDAY MONTH.
Penelopina Teena had a birthday today,
in faerie years she's a whopping 9008!
It's such a celebration as you have never seen
was held for this tiny white petite faerie queen.
A firefly has gifted her with the finest moon dust,
for faerie magic it's such powerful fine stuff.
Faerie chef Bengali Blue made fluffy cupcakes
with Venetian icing white, pink and blue all fresh baked.
An amethyst mirror gifted by Lil'miss Teak Breeze
was framed in the finest of gold and Elvin antiqued.
Jiminy Jack presented her with great berries gold,
from his orchard full of candied sweetness, full and bold.
Faerie Wa'di de Pella, a kindly fella
brought her a fine cookbook of treats rich with vanilla.
Dragonflies came with some light homemade Sliverene cream
for which to polish Teena's fine elemental wings.
A spider played Happy Birthday on its' web of silk,
while faerie Frank Fennell poured all, coconut milk.
A band of pipers and trumpeters played in bird nest;
all offerings were presented with such joyous zest.
Birds and bugs of all species danced throughout the whole night
to mesmerizing music, such a superb delight.
As the moon bid adieu to the late partying crowd,
the celebrants vanished in a crystal mushroom cloud.
Fruits
come in
abundance,
All yellow fields
burst with golden grains,
Birds sing their songs of grace;
Sunshine shows God’s full embrace.
Our farmers dance with joy and cheer,
Crates are full, all hearts in gratefulness,
Hail bountiful harvest this month of year!

September morn flutters its bright wings
Radiant colors of love and joy it all brings
Never just a dream
Drizzles fuse with summer air in delight
Rainbow looms are strewn in vast site
They perfectly prim
September smiles brandish vibrantly on air
Virgon-Libran Stars pace dazzlingly in flair
Trees arc overhead
Gilded crackers carpet densely around
Others in streaky flames stud…abound
Let’s frolic and tread
September aroma wafts, whirls… swirls
Bracing breeze bounces, dances, twirls
A lavish confetti-bearer
Overture of year’s most awaiting parts
Enchanting hues rain from the start
Ber Months’ fun greeter

Array of hues for “A” healthy life
Showing their radiance day and night
Tableau of romance for all lovers
Exquisite flowers in five bouquets with letters
Rainbow's reflection from the sky in September
Sept. 10, 2017 9.04pm
Note:
Aster is a September birth flower.
A simple gift for you all especially the birthday celebrants like our dear poet friend, Andrea D., last Sept. 5 and all other Sept. babies. Happy, Happy Birthday! Big Hugs and Best Wishes!
A Happy and Blessed September to all! (Although Stormy). God bless!
Clock ticks so smoothly
Whilst celebrants big bang came
Past out new hopes in.
All is calm; all is
Bright on this lovely
Christmas Eve night.
Do you see how
Easily the smiles come?
Feel the warmth that envelops you and
Glows in loved ones' eyes.
Hear the fervent joy
In celebrants' voices as they
Jubilantly sing of the infant
King who lay in a manger so
Long ago, born to redeem
Mankind from sin.
Now let's look at the
Other side of the season:
Platters of tasty food, Dad
Quoting "'Twas the Night . . .," kids
Receiving long-awaited toys
Santa delivered,
Telling funny stories, standing
Under the mistletoe . . . Let's appreciate these
Vivid, memorable scenes
Which will be springs of inspiration in
Xeric times during the coming
Year. Relish every moment.
Zealously embrace this season of smiles.

A herald announced the joyous news that a king was to visit my hometown!
Jerusalem was abuzz anticipating seeing a royal king wearing a regal crown!
I could visualize his majesty arriving on a prancing Arabian steed,
Or being borne upon a lavishly bespangled camel of exceptional breed!
I'd also heard that kings were borne in magnificent coaches gilt with gold,
And that with great pomp and blare of trumpets their procession was foretold!
This I wanted to see so I joined the milling throng and got a curbside seat!
Thousands of jubilant celebrants lined both sides of the city's dusty street!
"Here He comes!" shouted the mob! "Hosanna In the Highest!", they cried!
I strained my neck to see a real king in purple robes, the nation's pride!
The exultant crowd spread their cloaks and waved palm fronds along the mews,
Shouting, "Hosanna To Christ The King! The promised Messiah of Good News!"
This king, this King of Kings, rode a lowly donkey as His means of transportation!
I was told that a prophet Zecharia said He'd ride one for His triumphal celebration!
As He passed by I fell to my knees! He looked directly AT ME!, smiled and waved!
From that moment I became His disciple - straight paths for me He hath paved!
The man next to me said this man, this King, was born in a stable cave,
And that of His power to heal the ailing, blind and lame He freely gave!
Unlike earthly kings, He even promised eternal life for a sinner like me!
From this day forward I'll forever follow that good man from Galilee!

Having engaged in unlawful
Sexual intercourse
The hunter inflicted suffering
Upon my dissent.
Trained for rapid eye movement
He showcased with a violent temper
And in conversation
How it was for the purpose
Of my moral improvement
That in his chasuble
He designed to subdue me.
What an obscenity
To doubt the machinery
By which my chastity
Supports my collected bodies!
The gun carriage moved
Backwards and forwards.
The old world thrushes
chatted in "la Casula".
His discipline hastened
A yawning fissure.
The gorge that would
Breach the structure
Of our relations
With divergent opinions.
The chaser chassed in
Cheap chauvinism.
The change in this
Chattel's luster
Could be seen in a
Chatelaine's cat's eyes.
Apocopated celebrants
Gathered for the sacrifice
I could tell by the
Marked interruptions
Gapping the framework
Of our forlorn continuity.
It scared me so
That I was not trusted
To trust myself
Or my resultant suffix.
Castitas, intercourse
Or crying became informal.
I longed for the days
Before the chasm
When secured
In composed type
We were the receiving set
Of a mounting foundation.
Now an uninformed attendant,
A collection of various sections
I indulge in mild beverage
And still find no quenching
The deep cleft of my harmed surface.

Red pepper is a kind fire
burning without flames
causing eyes to rain without clouds
sitting on own cool hot stool
never causing wild bush-fire
giving suckling babies hot raw deals
but raising appetites of celebrants
cruel in hands of enemies
The Minster's quiet grace speaks from a time
when life was simple, kinsfolk came to pray
for hope within this haven so sublime
that famine and disease be kept at bay.
The temple thrives to prove the power of God,
it bests the test, as celebrants have trod
her cloistered precincts dressed in robe and cowl
to swell His praise through seasons fair and foul.
Today we slay and maim all in His name
people whose God displays a different face;
we trample on chaste values and defame
this land we hold so dear, to our disgrace.
His church endures, the crumbling building stands,
a shrine of truth on time's all-weathered hill;
shall we learn life's lesson, hold in our hands
the answer, or will it elude us still?
M arvelous love from our Creator, Most High
A ccentuating its hues of gold glowing days and nights
R adiance of wisdom in its flailing sights
I n your garden of life, joy keeps shining in broad light.
G lorious beauty you are, unparalleled to others
O rnaments on precious moments of all lovers
L ong lasting freshness in seventeen bouquets with letters
D azzle all around with fairy dancers.
A nd now they dance and sing a song
N atures’ accompaniments play along
D own the hills and plains, festivity prolongs.
C horus of gold, white, orange, yellow
O rchestrate their loving wishes for you,
S weet scents of breeze keep releasing their arrows

S un’s reflections of big smiles, the delights of October!
