Springfield, By the Way

In the one skip of light fantastic
Stands the butler dressed in black plastic,
Then from under the kitchen table
Crawls the sister who's near disabled;
Watches brother run with his cohorts
While his hands are shoved into white shorts.

Then appearing out on the pavement,
Near the old shop that sells engagements,
Are the dancers caught in slow motion;
They've run out of elixir lotion.
Music's blaring but no one's singing,
They're fearful of what autumn’s bringing.

When the words came down from the Heavens
They'd gambled on sixes and sevens.
O'er the ramparts was hung the traitor
While the cannons shot down the sailor.
The high priestess opened the prisons
And erased all soothsayers’ visions.

On the morning of the night after
There's no joker spreading his laughter;
No ships sailing that carry Norsemen;
Just the echoes from the Four Horsemen.
Now the preachers have turned to fasting
As they wait for the everlasting.

Little sister's running for freedom,
Heard the Horsemen as well as seen 'em.
Brother's standing with hands in pockets
While he's watching ten thousand rockets.
In a short time it'll be revealed . . .
Armageddon’s coming to Springfield.

Where Is Hollywood, By the Way?

Red River overflows ...
North Dakota everyone knows
Where are all the movie stars aid?
Where are their phony dramatic shows?
North Dakota helped to build them up too,
that is why we cite this review.
Where is their help and fanfare?
Why haven't they traveled there?
Where is their help?
There are dire needs...
Perhaps they'll come, after the water recedes.

By the Way

If I says I love you,
That is love you
"Gentleman"Yeah I says
Night is gradually being softy
Gradually night is being been softy,
That become pretty

If I says you are pretty,
That is you are pretty
"Dear"Yeah I says
The dark is gradually being softy
Gradually the dark os being been softy,
That become away

At the end with that gradually become
"Existentialism"Yeah I says
If I says you die,
That is you die,of course

By the Way Bryan

By the Way Brian

You must realize she was the only one
I ever dreamed about or looked upon;
Was lovely lady who looked like that
Until my mind died in mortal combat.

Even though news is my love so true
And write poems never liking to re-do
For fear of my meaning being mis-used;
Me, no one would I ever have abused.

Maybe in mortal combat I didn't die;
All had been a hoax to make you cry
More and more and you kept on crying;
With Williams whose first name is Bryan.

No lying Brine, why would you do this:
Now for six months he will have to miss;
So subject aside I did decide to push;
Look for likes of guy named George Bush.

By everyone in Texas, George is deified
Even though many times may have lied
About military records and alcoholic had been
Saying he never would start doing it again.

Now with Nixon he will wait at Watergate
And wrong long 18 minutes he did hate;
Why would a politician always want to lie?
Like dirty clothes, will wash, hang out and dry.

By the Way

Today I came here
To pick up my past
That I left in your room
Sorry to keep you there
You left a siringe on my bag
By the way, I hope you're alright

Each time we split I say,
"This time it's different
This time's for sure"
And when someone new comes along
I feel it's legit
That it's gonna be alright

I hate that we share friends
And they leave us alone
'Cause they're never sure
About our stance this time
All I wanted was the simple things
But now I'm alright

'Cause we've been here for a while
It's time we grow up
And finally get it through our
Words, our fists, our drugs, our heads
That it's never gonne be
And all we want is to feel alright

To get that kinda feeling
Is to just stay away
Yeah, my new man's waiting in the car
And I don't want to explain who you are
I just came by today
To make sure you're alright

This is the only way I can see fit and
I want to say everything that has been
Blossoming inside for far too long
But the words seem futile and much too common
I could simply quote eternal lore
But I want to believe you already know every thought
Tell me nothing, tell me everything
You have destroyed the feline door to my soul
My neurotic nature craves your constant calmness
You are like
The song that is trapped in my head
The dream I refuse to wake up from
The caffeine to my dreariest days
The nicotine to my stressful madness
It is ironic how I simply cannot paint with words
All the feelings you awake inside
My hair, my shirt and my bed
Still entrench your sweet sent
You may not be my gallant knight in shinning armor
I may not be your dreamy damsel in distress
But who believes in fairy tales anyway
And our reality is better in every way
I have a knack with my weird ways
To amuse you, to disgust you, to intrigue you
My exotic nature makes you doubt my whimsical logic
But you cannot deny it dude, we are so right together
Immature or much too smart to take life seriously
You make every moment pleasurably immortal
And every second apart painfully immeasurable
And by the way, szeretlek

I promised I'd always love you
And I always meant it.
I swore I'd never hurt you,
But I did and I regret it.

We both told our lies,
We both made mistakes,
We both fell in love
And that can't be replaced.

To you I was everything
And you were my destiny.
To you I was an angel
And you were made for me.

Time goes on
And I shed less tears,
But deep, deep down
I still have my fears.

I'm scared you'll forget me.
I'm scared you don't care.
I'm scared you'll regret us.
I'm just... scared.

You're still my sacrifice,
I'd still risk the world for you.
Because no one will ever love you
The way I still do.

The One By the Way

i will be the one to tell her she's beautiful
i will be the one to convince her she's wonderful
i will be the shoulder tocry on
i will be the one to rely on
i will be the one to hold your hair when you get sick
to buy the ice cream and movies for a fix that's quick
i am the one in which you can confide
i will be here when you think you can no longer survive
i will do anything for my girl
For she is my world

There are times,where you feel
Amazed
There times,where you feel
Sophisticated
There are times,where you feel
Honored
There times,where you feel
Modified
This is the story

A mountain bears mysteries
Pick up the pieces
A wind bear fresh air
Inhale those new beginnings
A tree bears fruitful intuition
Smile for those audiences
Admiring yourself

There are times,where you feel
Blessed
There are times,where you feel
Appreciated
There are times,where you feel
Respected
There are times,where you feel
Fulfilled
This should be an amazing story to be told

By the Way

Allegedly human, my flesh
not of the sky or spirit, but earth
took a lover. He was as warm
as the hound dog that sleeps
at the end of my bed most nights.

He was a human as I am.
The flesh, certainly weak,
gives way to press flesh,
the earth moves, the spirit
laughs lightly, by the way.

By the Way, He's Gone (Diminished Hexaverse)

What madness is this?
Could you not resist~
Such a blow carried
Hard pressed on mine ears
As tapped without fist

I need not hear
Your words again
Give me time, now
To absorb them

'Tis not -- our
 first-- greeting
Such an end…

We’ve lost
One more

Friend…

It takes time to travel the dusty road it's a release from doing what your told, to
walk a mile and disappear beyond the distance would you drop it all this very
instant. Never look back and certainly no regrets all bet's are off so don't hold
your breath, walking toward change I know it sounds strange maybe one day I'll
try to explain. I'm not quite sure where this dusty road end's or even where it
begin's, all that matters is time spend searching I feel I'm not alone the further I
roam is it destiny that leads us from day to day only heaven knows. By the way I'll
be back for the answers some day.

Oh By the Way I Forgot To Say

OH by the way, I FORGOT TO SAY……….

I am without anything when I am without you
And the good Lord knows I miss the taste of your smile
You made colors seem drab next to your eyes of blue
And made a walk up a mountain seem but a mild mile

I remember placing a yellow orchid in your platinum locks
I recall you giggling just like the little girl I believe you are
There was the day by a lake as, upon the water, we laughed and skipped rocks
And stayed mesmerized by our hunger for love until the evening’s first star

I can’t forget all the words I forgot to say that meant so much
I wanted to tell you I finally found that island made just for you and me
And even the most hardened soul would grow tepid from your touch
Oh god, and how timid time doth flee

I had plans of staying on that island with you as my bride
When your flesh felt like silk and your kiss kindled passion unknown
But when posterity and fate foreswore forevermore they lied
And that’s why I sit upon this island sand left all alone

By the way a rock pigeon cooed
   Deliberately out of sight
And moved me to rise from bed
With my own jingle in heart

And July's breath stills the pond
   In its disarming manner
And robs the chimes of their song
   And warms the oleander

And the way a cottontail
Sits and stirs among the grass
And a quail stands atop the wall
   And doesn't mind my presence

And the storm clouds had splintered
To let a golden haze form dawn -
I can tell that something good
And blessed is about to happen.
