Chocolate Moose Girl

Chocolate Moose Girl

A Sunday brunch one day went me
when she I saw, at table three.
From my mind to forget, never nor maybe.

For on this radiant sunny Sunday afternoon
in the Botanical Garden, my favorite room
sat at a table, grandmother and she.

The walls lined in fragrant ferns of green
baroque blossom ladies in gilded frames seen.
Her simple beauty profile delicate cherry flourish tree.

Now this vision alone, fulfilled my eyesight hunger greatly
when added she did this simple act make.
To her pink full lips a taste took she.

When delicate and slow she lifted
her chocolate moose to mouth she gifted.

From the moose chocolate, I know previous take.
The finest ever no chief could bake,
Satisfying, soft coolness, still lingering in me.

A sublime sexual treat,
then look I did, toward her feet.
When out rolled her toes
from brocade slippers of gold, I see.

Her barefoot toes ached
to reveal her pleasure
 with each spoon to lip,
 delight, same measure.
My mind to forget, never nor maybe.

Traversing the Lucky Country

Exploring the suburbs at Melbourne
Glad are the late nights’ burnt

Bustling Bourke Street Mall
Epitome of a retail therapy’s call

The archaic Flinder’s Station
Scheduling warrants attention

Cho-chooing to Sydney
Never costs a kidney

The surmountable Clothes Hanger
Climbing it is not a head-banger

The romantic Sydney harbour
Releases lovers’ masquerade and cover

The stunning Opera House
Pit stop onwards to the south

The flora of the Botanical Garden
Seemingly children running at kindergarten

The national parks of Wollongong
Hitting the musical notes of the gong

Rekindling memories of Bosman’s Bay
Is a paradise comes what may

Forgoing the isle of Tasmania
That would be the fear of Cradle Mountain mania

In the southern city of Hobart
Where we could relish a tart

Sailing off to Perth
That was never my berth

Discovering the untouched Fremantle
Goes to show an adventurer’s mantle

Diving the Great Barrier Reef
Provides a temporary relief

Coasting the white beaches of Gold Coast
The locals are but good hosts

Annihilated by the waves of the Pacific
Almost make thee panic

Crisscrossing the plains of Adelaide
Part of the best plans’ laid

Allure of the Red Centre
Australia’s stunning epicentre

In the midst of a red desert
Harbour hopes to return and not divert

Discovering the monumental Alice
Go head to head with some malice

Sailing across Katherine’s Gorge
The fissures is a sight to watch

The northern tip of Darwin
Just like the pinnacle wanting to win

Ode to the Northern Territory
A journey of national geographic really

Viva the land of Oz
Paradise and grandiose she was

Premium Member A Flower In Paradise

A flower in paradise
There’s a lack of nostalgic golden bell,
Garden flowers in Carlsbad*, and
Even cherry blossoms in Descanso**.

In a neighbor's mini-garden
Resting is an unknown flower.
It seldom dates bees and butterflies.
The stem bows respectably.
The petals wrinkle gracefully.

Full of comfort and peace,
Filled with beauty of recollection,
Bare flower mutters to itself,

Solely embraces the glorious sunrise,
Rolls the shadow at dusk,
Then, she falls asleep in the moonlight

Out of the vicissitude of life
Modest is the flower in paradise.

When An Angel Was Born

My eye's dont lie from a distance i thought i
saw an angel dressed in white, as she came closer
like the morning sun her hips swift left and right like
leaves of a blossom tree bleu by the wind, she smiles like
a thousand roses picked from the botanical garden of Rosslyn
i thought to my self that spring came early this year.

Equipped with big bold beautiful eyes with so much light
in them, like X-ray visions i bet she can see right through
my soul as my heart beat like drums of Africa. Her eyes sparkling
like stars of the milky way ,accompanied by the clear blue sky
on a rainy day.

I thought her name was Lisa, she smiles like Mona-Lisa
carved exceptional so, it was obvious that she was architected
by Mary, crafted by Joseph himself then, then she became a
product of God.

Premium Member Happy Birthday Honey

My hot ice, my sprinter-Turtle, purple rose and my wife,
your creation puzzles nature as every cell in you gives comfort.
So cheerful you are, that your shadow has a dimple
you shed a tear and oxygen pulls down its jean
from your singing, the morning flower finds a cardigan
and that effortless smile of yours makes the moon find cover in a blanket.

So sophisticated, modern and divinely engineered,
your virtues have curbed our challenges to be temporary migrants
and have rendered the sparks of the city daughters wireless.
Your flesh at sight, makes an intending foreign kiss crash,
your beauty wins all contests,
far above the surrounding maidens hands down,
even without judges.

So industrious and intelligent,
you take a break and time is given a handkerchief
if you were the president,
Orphans will own grocery stores, rodents will build their own castles.
You danced in dust, yet the weather develops a good handwriting
you are happiness’ algorithm, Fortune’s ultimate charm
evident by a life on a non-stop green traffic light.

Your breath sustains a botanical garden
and your whispers come in a lovely accent.
The sun only illuminates, when it borrows your eyelashes
and on your sexiness, the Greek gods form a formidable cabinet.
You have been more than a helper and a partner to me
from the connection of our hearts, came the discovery of the internet.

Street lights have developed ears on account of our lovely gossips
all these make loving you, the best decision I’ve made in my life.
I’m blessed to have you grow with me to be the world’s most powerful couple.
Happy birthday to you my love, my life, my heartbeat and my wife.

WINDOW SEAT

Sitting beside him in the window seat as they
taxied for take-off at the end of the day, she was
nubile and pretty, as young as his daughter, nearly
perfect in the way of a late-autumn sunset distributing
itself over olive-brown skin, coffee-colored eyes, an
unmistakable aura of the concept of duende that interpreted
the mysteries of twilight and flight and the challenges of
life through the lyrical cadences of Andalucia,
Castilla-La Mancha, and Castilla-Leon

He remembered the first time that his
beautiful wife, the renegade rose in a botanical garden,
kept company with him on a visit to Spain:
She was apprehensive on the plane, excited in Madrid,
underneath him in Sevilla; she misbehaved in Barcelona,
and was full of questions in Granada that he answered in
Toledo while she replaced her scarlet lipstick standing
naked in the mirror

Philadelphia to Madrid takes six-and-a-half hours
at six-hundred miles per hour, the big Airbus jetliner navigating
the darkness beneath the fingernail crescent of a waxing
harvest moon, yet its running lights flashing and its reassuring
roar, were simply dissipating signatures like the fragrances and
curves of the sleeping girl beside him, swallowed along the
route by altitude and distance, by the perpetual fluctuations
of the unruly sea below, by the unexpected pleasures
of a marriage that really matters – like with that red rose
renegade who’s often naked in the mirror, always present
in their bed, and every day a guiding essence for
his aging, restless soul!

Duende (Spanish): (1) in flamenco - a spiritual or emotional
bond between performer and audience created by the performer’s
intense concentration and passion; (2) in general – authenticity of
emotion and expression – soul!

Bath In the Path

On a marvelous morning in Ooty
I was inside the beautiful Botanical Garden
On seeing colorful flowers, plants and trees, mind became empty
Courtesy of the goddess of gardeners gladden

Formally fashioned flora flaunts a feast
Lie slope by slope like a terraced layout over a large area
All set bench by bench in an order of taste
small, tall, taller and tallest trees set, with clear idea

Breeze had filled my heart and soul
I walked from left to right and right to left
Again ups and down, to cover every area in full
Soul soothing sunlight too was soft

Many were soul stealing scene
Plenty were the photogenic places
Both seasonal and perennial flowers, kept clean
With camera, you may see several smiling faces

Delicate flower pots were decorated inside glass house
Seen few birds bathing in bond, before I climbed up to that stretch
Fragrance of fascinating flowers fed my nose
I begun to climb down after a soulful catch

It was a small pathway, as a shortcut to reach down
I was cautiously climbing down to the pond in ground level
With thoughts of this bustling former pastime British town
Continuous drops of water from tree was quite novel

With smile, I found birds on the treetop fluttering after the bath
With this, not only the climate but my soul too became chill !
With more drops falling on me, it was a virtual bath in this path
With such blessings, my mind began to stand still !

Casa Azul

Frida and Diego’s house
Had walls of cobalt blue.
Today it’s a museum and
Their paintings are on view.

I didn’t go to Mexico
To visit their collection,
But at the Garden, got to see
A limited selection.

The cactus plants in ochre pots
Arranged in artful ways
Allowed me to imagine Frida
Living out her days.

Some paintings rounded out the show
And photographs as well,
To place the artists at the site
Where both did work and dwell.

The highlight of the whole display,
Which made me crave much more,
Was all the Frida tchotchkes*
In the Garden’s lovely store.

An orange pot and purple plant
Now grace my windowsill,
Reminding me of Frida –
Very un-run-of-the-mill.

*trinkets, knickknacks

currently has an exhibit about Frida Kahlo
and Diego Rivera’s house, Casa Azul.)

City of Dreams

Vienna, soft music, young wine and
a handsome, young stranger.
A small, cozy Grinzing Café
 with candlelight
and a table for two,
blue violets, white roses for me.

He asked the gypsy to play our song
and spoke softly,
"You're lovely. Let’s dance."
A soldier from a far away country
and a girl without a passport
to cross the border for home
were listening to violins crying the song of the Volga
" Alone once more, so alone."

 The last streetcar passed
 We walked hand in hand.
Lanterns cast their light upon
two strangers dreaming of peace
in the botanical garden by night

In a horse-drawn carriage he rode to the airport.
With blue violets, white roses, I waved good-bye
and at early dawn the plane disappeared,
into the limitless sky.

Time has mended the scars of a war.
A bond never broken, love for truth
and compassion for mankind remain.
In seasons to come, when life prevails over death,
blue violets, white roses,
will bloom in my garden again.

Premium Member Statue of Unity In India

The goal of India’s Statue of Unity is to promote values
of spirituality, nationalism and academic aspirations.
Surrounded by a unique botanical garden, of various hues,
Her cactus garden shows a tourist one of the best travel destinations.

This Statue of Unity is an infrastructure for education and research.
There is a reverence when you enter that makes it feel a bit like church.
It is a cultural destination, and has an additional worthy goal
Of enlightening your feelings about diversity, and unity as a whole.

The honorable Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat State
explained the worthiness of this lovely structure, and her current fate.
A modern beauty, exuding delight and peace you will enjoy upon arrival.
Ethereal, her ambiance will continue long after our physical survival.

Premium Member The Garden of Eden

Desert Botanical Garden - Phoenix, AZ

Come and find me in this garden;
I know not where the hours go.
Palm fronds brush against my cheek -
   Lone toadstool, blush of mallow.

They say this is the Garden of Eden -
   Rocks of lichen, red yucca.
But I think this is probably heaven -
   Birds-of-paradise and vinca.

You will find here a green shelter;
   Shade fills the inner sanctuary.
Canaries whistle o'er yonder -
Dew drops on a banana leaf.

Let's be as kids like we once were;
Take my hand, let's go find its end.
Make a wish on a four-leaf clover -
   White passion vine, black-eyed Susan.

Heaven can wait if we persevere.
Let my bosom be your headrest.
Morning glories open to the day;
   Sure feels like we're heaven-blessed.

Premium Member Flowers They Are So Beautiful and Alluring

'Flowers!' said I, 'thing of floral'
Once I sat engaged and blossoming
When I thought of the flowers
In a kingdom full of wreaths
Once upon a midnight peak
I saw the sunflowers
In a kingdom full of seedpods
Flowers - tormentor of my dreams
When I thought of the flowers
By the grave I saw the sweet peas
I heard an ornamental, flush treeing
When I thought of the flowers
It threw its ghost against the geraniums
They are perfumed from unseen showers
They are perfumed from unseen craniums
Suddenly, I heard some dewing
In there stepped a thundery flowering quince
And the acanthus was doing
I am shorn of the morning rinse
Of the rainstorm's that is suing
Much I marveled the peak flora
The bio-diverse botanical garden breezing
Flowers!' said I, 'thing of floral
There’re so beautiful and alluring…

Our Love Is a Botanical Garden

Our love is botanical garden
where the trees have evanesced
The petals have wilted
The roots are debilitated
as if they were immune to growth
And the soil can barely shelter a seed

This is the landscape of the dead
Hope dies before it can grow
No season will stop this home from dying
What has withered will never return

I long for the time when this was our Eden
A place of peace and harmony
Yet I sit here in everlasting silence
appreciating the greatest dissonance of today
