Premium Member My Robot Benny

MY ROBOT BENNY

I have a robot at home, his name is Benny,
Who is also, extremely office friendly.
He wakes me up every morning,
As a new day is dawning,
And taps my hand, ever so gently.
I wanted him dressed in a vibrant colour,
So he was delivered to me in red suited armour,
With extremities of a shiny silvery pallor!
He felt at home from the moment he came,
And loves us all, one and the same.
He is an excellent PA, none equal his talent,
And never sprouts arrant,
Nonsense, is always polite, cute and gallant
Keeps rigidly to a daily agenda,
And has been programmed to shed a tear
When he is feeling loving and tender!
His memory is incredibly large, Benny holds a
Phenomenal amount of data,
And has a robot girlfriend called Zeta!
He loves to impress and is rather vain,
Nobody would ever deign,
To outwit him, for he has a certain pout,
Again programmed, and beyond any doubt,
Has a capacity of many bytes
To flirt with the ladies in our office space,
As he twirls and spins, showing a
Blushing face!
What a special robot my Benny is, we have
Reached an era, a future phase
That dictates,
We will all soon adopt a Benny,
Who I have programmed to say
I love you Jenny!

Premium Member The Last Link To Being-The Tale of Ribonucleotides-

I curse thee ribonucleotides
For to shatter my faith was your goal
and the spec of light I held inside
You've replaced with a vacuous hole

For science has proven beyond any doubt
That you came to exist on your own
Elements melded in perfect conditions
The recipe is finally known

These roots of life have been made in a lab
and they needed no ethereal spark
I close my eyes and try to forget
But there is no return to the dark

I'm stuck on this rock, what reason to be?
In the truth there exists no compassion
I curse thee ribonucleotides
and this empty heart that you've fashioned

Dear Lord I'Ve Been Hurt and Abused

Dear Jesus... I've Been Hurt and Abused...

I've been hurt so much...
I don't feel like "going on."
It feels like "everything I do turns out wrong."

I've been "abused and neglected
 so many times."
I feel like I'm a victim "of a thousand crimes."

I've tried to talk to some people... but to no avail.
Many look at me as if "I'm destined to fail."

"Perhaps if they knew everything,
they'd extend a hand."
"If they knew what I've been through...
they'd understand."

"Dear Jesus... I hope that you'll
 forgive me if I cry."
"I don't know where else to turn."
 "I don't want to die!"

Please help me and my kids
to find a new life in YOU.
I really don't know anyone else I can turn to.

I've hit "rock bottom." There seems
 to be no way out.
I know that you care...
and you love me beyond any doubt.

In the midst of a very
discouraging situation.
You've extended to me a "heavenly invitation."

You've opened up your heart
to me with loving arms.
And by your Spirit, you'll protect me from all harm.

You reached down and gave
to me a "special grace."
And have given me true love
and a smile on my face!

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again
If you believe this in your heart, and live it, say Amen
But if you scoff and say to others, that you don't believe
There will come a time when nothing can relieve

The fear that engulfs you when Jesus says to you
"Depart from me, I never knew you"
There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth that day
When scoffers and unbelievers hear Him say

Separate the wicked from among the just
And do unto them what you must
Then you'll be cast into a lake of fire
With flames that soar higher and higher

But if you believe what the Scriptures say
Then it won't have to be that way
These words He'll say to you my son
"Enter into my Father's rest. Well done"

So hear these heart felt words I speak
Don't wait another day or week
You may not have that much time left
Before you meet the Angel of Death

So I beseech you while you still can
Take advantage of God's great plan
Then you will know beyond any doubt
That eternity in hell has been ruled out

How Many Times

HOW MANY TIMES ?

Now I’m a commonsense-o-holic
But when I was a practising catholic
Confession was always a trial or a show.
The guy behind the wire-gauze fence
Always seemed to want to know
How many times I had done the offence.
Well the most common offence, though odious,
Of young teenage boys is obvious:
And sometimes I used to mentally advance
The following extenuating circumstance
Well twenty-eight times this week
Because my hormones were at their peak;
Well fifty-three times but I must admit
It would have been sixty you’d have to acquit
If  I had had enough energy left for such crimes;
Well, father, it would have been four times,
But there's no lock on the door, you see
And my mother walked in on me, suddenly.
What did he do with all the statistics of my energy pent?
Of frequency ? Of offending commandment?
Did he report to higher authority?
Did he keep bar charts or pie graphs of me
Compared with other boys of teen-age?
Was I better or worse than average?
Confession is secret so I never found out
But to hell I am going beyond any doubt.

Spring Chicken

“You’re not a spring chicken,”
My husband blurts out.
The truth in that statement’s
Beyond any doubt.

My running around’s
Surely taken its toll,
As Nature reminds me
I’m not in control.

For age has its limits
And mine’s reached a peak.
What I do in a day
Should spread over a week.

I try for it all
But my body’s refused.
As I conk on the couch,
There’s my husband – amused!

Premium Member The Dirt Gobblins

I always wondered where the dirt came from, cleaning had me in a rut.
I don’t allow shoes inside, and with air conditioning, I keep the windows shut.
My mother said it came from dirt goblins, they’re lovers of dirt and smut.
And Goblins love to play. Strewing dirt about, as around they strut.
They invite their friends, and then leave us with lint, fluff, and a dusty glut.
I finally put nightlights in the bedroom’s to keep them out, I’d had enough!

The dirt goblins come in from the outside, they live among the shadows.
They make their homes under the beds, behind boxes, or in the darkest hallows.
They track the dirt everywhere. Yesterday, I even found some candle tallow!
They follow your pet to gather their hair, the perfect nest to burrow.
If you aren’t quick at this point, with little dirt goblins you’ll be blessed tomorrow.
We don’t fight or make them mad. My husband handles them without sorrow.

My fearless husband invites them down to the friendly basement below.
He’s very good as he talks and becomes their friends, you know
They’re lonely and want to play, so he makes promises, to help them go.
Then he opens a box full of gifts, from the vacuum bag he bestows.
He tells them of the neighborhood, as he makes a map full of important info.
Then he releases them into the back yard, on this mission he quietly tiptoes.

Everyone wonders what he doing with the boxes in the yard he lays about.
He’s sneaking them out into the yard, with directions given to the goblin scout.
My house is becoming cleaner, as the goblins slowly continue to move out.
Pretty soon we’ll have the cleanest house in the neighborhood, throughout.
If they come back, we’ll send them to the other neighbors, as our gifts give us
clout.
And as for the boxes, beyond any doubt we’ll never let that secret out.

Premium Member God My Lord

GOD MY LORD

God my Lord:
Transcendental reality
Uncreated creator
Supreme Goodness
Dwelling of eternal wisdom
Everlasting source of my being
Shield of my life
Refuge of my soul,

Although THEE omnipresent are
To see THEE I am unable

While THY name eternally lives
Unknowable to me remains

With different names at different times
True it is, THEE, may people call

But

In every instance THEE are
Unchanged
Emanating THY blessings to MEN
Always in the same way, with:
Holly patience
Celestial kindness
Heavenly wisdom and
Unbounded love,

Even though for me, THEE,
An enigma stays,
Perplexing, puzzling and
Mystifying my bewildered mind,
There is something I know for
Certain,
Beyond any doubt,
Something revealed to me
In the kernel of my heart
Since the dawn of my life
And that,
Proud to declare I am is the
Awareness of
THY HOLY EXISTENCE!

No doubt,
No hesitation,
No disbelief
In my heart exists to prevent me
THY divine reality to recognize
This, I am ready to assert,
A million times all
Over again:
YES, THEE EXIST!

Immanent in me, THEE
I sense
Throughout space and time,
That's why THY existence
I continuously affirm
With all my vigor and
With all my faith

For

How else could I
Explain
That here I am thinking
Of THEE,
If THEE, first, THY
Thought in me
Had not CONSIGNED?

Determination Shall Overcome

i have a friend who wants his life to end. he is no longer happy and can no longer pretend.
he grabs the gun and points to his head. he takes a deep breath and sits down on the bed.
but nothing happened, no more bullets were inside. it didn't work and with relief i sighed.

with his face in his hands he thinks of another way out. his eyes scream with pain, i know what he wants beyond any doubt.
i told him i'll be here no matter what might go wrong. he shouldn't be alone, i have to be strong.

he stands on the side, ready to take his last plunge, but can't seem to gather the strength to jump with a lunge.
my heart is screaming, i can't believe my eyes...i can't let him end it but if i stop him it is i who he will despise.

"thank you for being here," he says to me. "i want you to help me count down from three".
as i closed my eyes, they now being drenched with tears...how can a boy have this many fears?

don't you remember the time we met? he turned to face me, his cheeks both wet.
more memories came out with speed. this was my way to stop him and for him not to succeed.

i have to die..i'm not who you think. his tears were washed away with one big blink.
he faced the world once more and said.."there are lies down there and all in my head".

i promised i wouldn't assist my friend in any way..but i have to do something to make him stay.
before his last foot left for his death, i grabbed his arm before he could lose his last breath.

i drew him closer, he looked so stunned. i told him i couldn't let him take that last plunge.
as his cries grew quiet, i started to suspect. his behavior was off, not what i'd expect.

he handed me a tube with nothing in it that i could see. he whispered, "i'm sorry" and i fell to one knee. how could i fail my one true friend? how could i have missed this in the end?

in my arms he slipped away, and i wondered if he is now happy and no longer felt astray.
my friend is now gone and lays at rest...he starts a new journey and begins his new quest.

i will never forget that sad and lonely guy..for he will always be with me, i love you good-bye.

The Beginning and End of Our Small Fights

There were times when I lost my temper
That burns up your anger;
Here and there our stuffs lays scattered
Your heart is shattered;
Least I can do is to cry
Thinking that you would'nt give me a try;
The day is passed without food
In addition, we show no good;
You pack up your stuff to leave
I beg you not to leave me beyond any doubt;
Your heart becomes tender and mild
And I turn to you like a shame child;
You make me lay down in your loving arms
All I think now is to reform;
To maintain a healthy relationship
And tackle any kind of hardship.

I'Ll Be Watching You

I`ll be Watching You
I`ll be watching you.
Look over your shoulder and watch where you go.
Don`t talk to people you don`t know.
Make no mistake, you've done real wrong.
It might not be today, but it won`t be long.
I`ll be watching you.
I don`t know the time.
Or even the place.
Don`t even know if it will be a familiar face.
But, there will be a time.
And there will be a place.
You days have numbers, you're such a disgrace.
I`ll be watching you.
Oh, I`m sure you know why.
But you`ll never know when or where.
So, I hope that you think about this over and over again.
There`s only one way to make this all end.
I`ll be watching you.
You know you are wrong.
Beyond any doubt.
You've wasted the time to work all this out.
So keep this all fresh in your unburdened mind.
It won`t get swept far behind.
I`ll be watching you.
Does your conscious keep you up at night?
Thinking of all you have not done right.
I guess that may be if you even gave a damn.
Things you have done in your present and past.
Will be remembered till your day last.
That noise, what`s that?
And who is that over there?
That`s right, take heed, you best beware.
I`ll be watching you.......
From Anywhere.

Through Life's Trials and Hardships

Through Life’s Trials And Hardships…

I’ve been through trials and difficult situations.
Many times it happens with no explanation!

Whatever I’ve had or have taken with me.
I’ve been there when everyone has left me!

The uncertainties I’ve had and struggles I face.
Have brought me to my knees in a “quiet” place.

The journeys I’ve traveled and the storms ahead.
Have brought worry and stress in the words I said.

Whatever trials I’ve faced... To Jesus I cried!
A comfort and strength . He did provide!

I know a truth that’s important and most certain.
Jesus can take away any hardship or burden!

If there were no trials... How could I trust him?
Because of what he’s done How much I love him!

If I had no hardships or trials, I’d probably “forget him.”
Giving him my whole life? I don’t think I’d let him!

He’s proven beyond any doubt how much he loves me!
He reached down from heaven and touched me!

He’s my comfort and joy and enduring friend!
He’ll be there with me… Till the very end!

This Jesus I know. I recommend him to you!
He is God! Our provider! This is so true!

Won’t you give him a chance in your life today!
He can bring hope and take
 the dark clouds away!

Soul

What is it in the nature of your soul
that wills me to want to know more?
A God-annointed angel will know
who by His hand made you soar.

You were cradled at earth’s conception
with gifts of light in this mortal sphere.
Thus to all you touch you give direction,
heavenly inspiration is unfailingly near.

That much I know beyond any doubt
it is as certain as God's Son is alive.
It reveals in truth what you are about—
celestial brilliance to ensure we thrive.

Protest

Protest everywhere in the fighting streets
Applauding with erected fingers call
Gypsy dancing in all the fighting fleets
Feeling beyond any doubt could change all

Stancing and whooping with numbness hooray
Without fulfillment re-satisfying
Social order in total disarray
Faces are turning, never stop crying

Yowling fierce, until the deadness excites
Tis the fire, that is say, the jubilee
Fuels the all screeching spirited lights
Thinking upon the way things it should be

In the end, the challenges they shall face
Won't run away, but instead they shall chase

Ashes To Ashes

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust

Life may be lost
In a single wind gust

The question is
What is the next level
Questions number far more than answers
Is there really a devil
Is there really a god

These are questions mankind has been
Asking since the beginning
Some say it is a sin
To question reality

Yet should sin be labeled
Those who have not found the road
To a power only known in fable

Mythic stories and tales
Portray the snake to be evil

Yet the good
Is that of the eagle

Evil is creation
That of the mind

Yet the fiendish
May only prevail
If faith shall fail

Light is everywhere
One just must know where to look
Dark may be
Illuminated by the good

Yet light may not
Be darkened by the bad

Only when the clouds
Are up in the sky
Shall light dim
At the sight of the eye

There is one thing
Good shall remain throughout
Only if one believes
Beyond any doubt
