The Second Coming of Christ

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again
If you believe this in your heart, and live it, say Amen
But if you scoff and say to others, that you don't believe
There will come a time when nothing can relieve

The fear that engulfs you when Jesus says to you
"Depart from me, I never knew you"
There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth that day
When scoffers and unbelievers hear Him say

Separate the wicked from among the just
And do unto them what you  must
 Then you'll be cast into a lake of fire
With flames that soar higher and higher

But if you believe what the Scriptures say
Then it won't have to be that way
These words He'll say to you my son
 "Enter into my Father's rest.  Well done"

So hear these heart felt words I speak
Don't wait another day or week
You may not have that much time left
Before you meet the Angel of Death

So I beseech you while you still can
Take advantage of God's great plan
Then you will know beyond any doubt
That eternity in hell has been ruled out

We are in a transitory phase here, a journey which has to end, this virus will claim a lot of lives - I feel that everything around me is a dream, but maybe that is a coping mechanism granted to me by God like the time we were hijacked in or own garden with a gun at each of our heads - I had no fear whatsoever - obviously we survived. Growing up in the rural South, we had a saying "That dog'll hunt!" I prefer the AF version of "That'll preach"! As a member of the Civil Defense and Disaster Preparedness Team for 14 of my 20 years, I learned to take things like this virus seriously and take every precaution to stay well. I know you learned the same lessons and I share this info with friends and even total strangers.
