Best At Ease Poems

I Feel At Ease

Like a nest on a little church
indented in the rocks.
The sky is low.
The twitch
of the air flower-beds –
the passing angels.
And voices like gushing
streams; rivers before the sea.
The day is silent.
The body is growing up –
some birds are thronging.

Stand At Ease

Stand at ease soldier, rest your weary soul,
You've served your country, you've walked your last patrol.
Stand at ease soldier, rest your tired paws,
You've saved so many lives, you've travelled lands, torn with wars.
Stand at ease soldier, rest and ease your mind,
You've served with honour and pride, you've protected your mankind.
Stand at ease soldier, rest your senses for a while,
You've shown you were a warrior, you've always gone that extra mile.
Stand at ease soldier, rest, it's your time to just be you,
You've been and done all you can, you've been there to see us through.
Stand at ease soldier, you're no longer part of this charade,
We'll salute you and say farewell, on this, your last parade.

At Ease With Oneselves

They leap with gracefulness in the air.....at  ease with oneselves
The gazelles whose graciousness is there.....at ease with oneselves

So beautiful the plateaus where animals graze
Content in their surrounding, relaxed not a care .....at ease with oneselves

God looks kindly at the sight knowing all  is well
Grass is lush, trees at their best, great animal fare ....at ease with oneselves

Look, see the children yelling as they run and  play
A happy childhood, makes them adults who care .....at ease with oneselves

Home past the gazelles, who run and leap
Knowing  we mean no harm we are all there .....at ease with oneselve

At Ease

At ease

I have acknowledged your ambiance for quite some interval,
Going thru the ups and dejected of courtship with you.
But something that has dire you,
Just wretched my soul,
And now my coziness with you has been meddled.
I know I’m not a flawless soul,
Or even calm to get along with;
But I attempt my preeminent to make you pleased.
My heart pains like someone just treaded on it,
And didn’t caution about how I may feel afterwards.
I love you very profoundly,
And know that there nothing on this God green earth I wouldn’t do for you ‘
But I am confounded by your actions of the propaganda.
I hope in your core you dearly attempt to fix this agony of mine,
Or this stronghold of love we have,
May tumble.
I do love and care for you ;
But I am not at ease.

At Ease, Mind You

Don't weep fountains yet
hold my hand and lean here please -
Let your mind at ease

Pessimistically,
You frown upon my glee smiles
Astonished, so hurt

Don't reap what you sow
Let me do the dirty work -
Let me HIGH your LoW

Breathe At Ease

Through the frosted window I watch the snow fall,
Falling so heavily amongst the street lights.
Faintly I feel the slow beat of your heart,
Beside me you sleep peacefully from the cool of the night.
As we lay there the snow insulates everything around us even further,
Especially any and all other sounds that were left lurking around.
I lay awake with a mind shuffling through so many emotions,
Trying to grasp this comfort that I have found.

I just want to wake you to let you know,
I just want you to look in my eyes when I speak.
Look how we’ve kept each other warm from the outside cold,
Look how for once in my life I can breathe at ease.
No longer do I feel like such a lost soul,
My lungs like my heart so full.
Honey I can’t wait for you to see,
How I breathe with such ease.

So I lay there watching the snow grow deeper with time,
The silence surrounds us in a warm comfort never felt before.
Whispering in your ear how our love will never turn blind,
That we can be free and forever let our hearts soar.
Then as time moves on and we grow older,
I know that what’s in our hearts will never change.
It will never matter if what surrounds us keeps getting colder,
The warmth we share together now will always remain.
No it will never matter if what surrounds us keeps getting colder,
The way I breathe at ease when I’m with you will always stay the same.

Now I can relax and be lost in your arms,
Finally I can close my eyes.
My mind is at peace with all my thoughts of you,
Sleeping together in the glow of those street lights.
I just can’t wait till morning,
For you’re the first one that I’ll see.
I will tell you all about my thoughts last night as I lay beside you.
I will tell you that how when I’m with you I breathe now with such ease.

Ill At Ease

If disease were aware
Would it look up from its meal,
And look me in the eyes?
Would it dab its mouth
Removing any trace
Of you from its face?
Would it be annoyed
At the interruption?
Would it notice the loss
And grief decaying my spirit
Before its eyes?
Would it feel guilt,
Or turn away from my misery,
And continue its repast?

She sensibly shells purple peas
To fill the bowl between her knees.
She longs to flee the filth and sleaze,
And dreams of breezes in Belize.

My Mind Is At Ease

My mind is at ease, Your heart is so hard to Please. I sought out fate in another man. we
made a plan. You said you'd keep me, Never would you Leave me. I found true love, Given
from God above. I know what to do. You where never meant to be my boo. I love him not you.
I know you had to have a clue. My mind is at ease, Don't make this hard Please. You might
think this is a mystery But I have seen the enemy, He's in your anatomy. Your cruel and
instinctual, If you where just a little more of a espial. No more hurt no more pain to
more love I wish to gain. No more hear no more there no more wishing you would care. My
mind is at ease, No more begging on my Knees. ~ Amber Jenkins

Just Be

Why can I not just be
Be at ease with being me
Ease myself into an easy flow
Jeez, is that part of me a flaw
My bloom is way past its glow
All motion now rendered slow
Mixed emotions bout to blow
And my mood doomed to waffle
I'm fearful life is foredoomed to be awful
Maybe its best to cut loose the old self
Set my aura aside to rest on a shelf
Shake loose my cells till they unform
to dally around freely without form
So I can be as one with the norm
Let all fear step back now with a bow
As I take a chance to step up and wow
It's about time I cease being reactive
Seize the day, vibrate on positive
And still strive to be progressive
Even while I live in active procrastination
Remaining passive in my participation
I wait till I receive a valid sign of progress
It's since proved to be a very useful process
That filters my mind of excess stress
It lightens my thoughts so they run clear and free
Freed my guilt and shame too, I did see them flee
Now I intend to be a lot more cautious
I can't keep up with feeling overly anxious
Not over a few missed milestones
My neck won't tote any hefty millstones
If I do concede to this new slow pace
Will I find a space to fit in, in this place
So as to face my inner self in peace
Maybe then I can at last just be
Finally at ease with being me

Premium Member Spirit At Ease

Hold on to that which sets your spirit at ease
For me it's glittering ocean seas
And a slightly salty breeze
In the shade of dancing trees
Think not of the workplace freeze
And the fatigue that haunts your knees
Think of the water's tantalizing tease
As if saying come into the water please
Where you will laugh and wheeze
In your imagination are all the keys
To hold onto that which sets your spirit at ease
For me it's glittering ocean seas
And perhaps a quarter pounder with cheese

At Ease

When I walk through the park
and I hear the birds sing
i am at ease.....
When I sit in a silent room
listening to absolutely nothing
i am at ease.....
When I pass by a waterfall
that has captured my attention and all
i am at ease.....
not a military action
or a scream to reaction
it's more or less a simple reflex
that's given my mind a time to reflect
and it's no wonder at all
to feel a time to recall, that
i am at ease.....

Let it go
Let it go
Say hello
Let it flow
Just keep it stone cold
Emotions getting the best of you
Just let it go
Just let it go
Turn the heart around
Let it spin
Let it come to be
Let it be
Just be at ease
A love
Will come and take you forever
To be
One together
Oh just let it be
Be at ease
Just be at ease
