A Theoretical Assumption Into the Causation of Earth's Rotation

1000 miles per hour scientists have calculated the Earth’s rotation
And 25000 miles in 24 hours according to their quotation
They say it is the distance from the sun qualifies their concession
But it is the facts that they failed to mention

The fact in the matter is, it is not gravity, the sun or the moon
So I thought I will break it down so you can see the big picture soon
And those scientific theories are fallible and can be popped like a balloon
Then you can stop watching the Discovery channel and watch a Disney cartoon

In order to deliver the facts I will change from monorhyme
This will give you the information in digestible nuggets in time

Here we go:

Fact: we know that love makes the world go round
Just enough to stop you flying off the ground
According to my calculations, there are 380000 people making love every second
Wait a minute, just in case I am beckoned

22800000 in a minute, 1368000000 in an hour and 32832000000 in a day.
That’s a lot of people indulging in naughty play
Therefore each person generates 3045808967 gigawatts of negative energy
Calculate it yourself and if I’m wrong I’ll change my name to Cenergy.
The negative energy is what repels us from the sun
This is not generated from the up and down of underwear of everyone
If we quit the Earth will stop spinning
And this may mean we’ll come out winning
For we won’t die or age in years
We’ll never be made redundant due to someone younger taking our careers

You can borrow money and go in debt
And never pay it off if you take it over a year I guarantee the bet.
For if we stop love, time will stand still
And to get it moving again would need the love pill

So from me and Captain Morgan, we say good night
Tomorrow how the earth got it’s crust we will write.
So say good night to this drunken plumber
And by the way, if we stop the sun will suck us in and that’s a bummer

Good night

ASSUMPTION, PRESUMPTION , GUMPTION

I don’t enjoy been on a plane,
I find it scary and a tad mundane,
But last time I flew,
I sat next to a lady I slightly knew,
I was bored and wanted to play a silly game!

It was the same lady who lived across the street,
Her sandals were shoddy and she had ugly feet,
Her face looked bloated, red and big,
And every day she wore a new wig,
I thought she was also perhaps an adulteress,
A cheat!

I noticed that she ordered a stiff brandy,
She’s having an affair, she’s used to being randy,
Truly how could this lady attract a husband
And lover,
She was clearly quite plain,
What did either of them have to gain,
Even her hair was mousy brown and sandy!

We started chatting about this and that,
And told me she was on diet for she felt fat,
I’m no professor but have two degrees,
So noticed she spoke with intellectual ease,
I felt bad at what I thought earlier,
My thoughts had to somehow retract!

She was CEO of a well know airline,
But sadly had cancer of the spine,
Which she was hoping to beat
The cancer had also spread to her feet,
She could only wear sandals, I knew then
I was out of line!

I wanted to make her feel good,
My thoughts weren’t nice, that is plainly understood,
I invited her to join us on our luxury liner,
For as long as she liked, she was also a deep
Sea diver,
We became best of friends, and pleased her,
As only a friend could.

It turned out that the man I saw going
In and out of her house,
Was her brother, so she didn’t cheat.
On her spouse,
In fact they were about to repeat their vows,
Underneath the boughs,
Of an old oak tree and a river on which
They had a boathouse.

Elsie got better, thank God,
Both she and I thanked Him, He was
Our rod,
I was really lucky to have found
Such a genuine friend high up, off the ground,
We both lived by the sea, had a picnic,
And watched the whales, a huge pod!

I have now learnt not to make any
Hasty assumption,
But to have gumption,
For I was horribly wrong,
I had come a long
Way, since that day on the plane, not to
Make any hurried presumption!

whims may become a blessing or a curse
pushing one toward certain ruin or worse
drinking from the deep well of evasion
well versed in dark practices of persuasion
fixating on dreams of what ought to be
avoiding what mirrors reality

totally free of social encumbrances
in spite of what the best assumption is
wandering through this life oblivious
hiding from anything too obvious
urge to be free of all expectation
jumped right into without hesitation

do not question need to swallow it whole
subtle art of self-induced mind control

Assumption Endangers

This is a anecdote about not taking things for granted....
Seeing how we often jump to conclusions based on wrong assumptions...

A top notched news photographer was in a mighty hurry...
He saw a plane on the taxiway, pilot in place and take off all ready...

He jumped quickly into the plane and commanded the pilot to take off and start flying....
Shortly after, he asked the pilot to make a turn to over where a forest fire was raging..

There was a moment's hesistation before the pilot queried why...
Pompously, the newsman replied he was a news reporter, that was why...

There was a another moment of silence, longer than the earlier momentary hesitation...
Then a quavering voice from the pilot, "You are not my new flight instructor?"... ..

Don't simply assume or jump to conclusions...
It can bring forth dire consequences...

Have a nice day, people!

Presumptuous Assumption

he presumes that people find him unassuming

                    and about his humility he keeps on boasting;

                                       looks down his nose

                                           at you and those

he assumes as presumptuous, as assuming !

Cold Kiss And Silent Goodbye

Fall blindly in love and plunge deep into a firestorm of intricately weaved
    pattern of uncertainty

Mask feelings with transgressions and feel the weight of trust shatter the
    matrimony of spiritual unity

Fail every obligation with deceptions and morph as the destroyer of each
    dream blinding an optimistic eye

Assume possession of the healing light and see frigid lips caress a selfish
heart with cold kiss and silent goodbye

Poison Ivy of Assumption

Poison ivy of assumption
a seed transforms into vines
your very branches tread fine lines.

Cut off the ones that offend you.
Watch as the ivy desecrates the character you never were.
Hearsay convoluted, convictions flawed.
Are you so jealous or too overzealous?

Poison Ivy of assumption
ruthless as a boa constrictor.
Crack each bone to keep your namesake.
Lessening a stranger's significance
hoping to encapsulate foreign fences.
All for your self decadence?

Prey lay dying
decimation of their very character.
The ivy as a thief in the night.
Wearing its victims skin it entangles and destroys.

Poison ivy of assumption
is no stepping stone sacred with thee?
Every leaf a captured soul
in your self induced sheol.
Void of individual existence
tarnished and vindictive in your webbed realm of deceit.

Poison ivy of assumption
a cycle neverending
this much I know is true.
Still ever present around today.

As green meets green
as dawn meets dusk
as a star fires away from the sky.
I stand in truth to confront this ivy of assumption.
I'll stand neither by it nor for it.

Poison ivy of assumption.
None call it.
None escape it,
None miss it.

I require proof.
While you die in the lies that never was
and never will be.

Poison ivy of assumption
be my guest
but I won't be there to dine.

Assumption Is the Mother

Of all screw ups.
To presume anything often leads to foul territory;
It literally can land you on cactus needle laden fields,
Assuming bent over position will surely prompt swift kick.

Looking too closely may place eye balls in viper's glare,
Try enjoying total view without close up prying invasion.
Pretending understanding minus knowledge is fool's mistake;
Listen carefully to talker and he might kindly let you in.

Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,

Assumption - Two Timers

Thought I had it made, love spilled out from all of me!
Thought I had if made, then I remembered, you were not free!

Assumption

To assume is to judge
to accuse based on assumption
is incompetent.
Assumption without full knowledge
creates friction.
Choosing ones words carefully
shows respect and responsibility
as well as charactor.
An individual whom assumes and takes quick
action upon that assumption projects
insecurity within ones self.
Never Assume.

Assumption

Assumption,
Why do we assume?
If you could, you'd watch me from midnight til noon!
You put words in my mouth and thoughts in my head.
You were that "fly on the wall", now tell me which end of the bed was I at??
Assumption,
Why do we assume?
Have you ever watched "Under The Cherry Moon"?
You always seem to know everything.
Why aren't you rich, you know what I mean?
Assumption!
You always want things to go your way,
When majority of the time we don't even have a place to stay!!!
Assumption,
Why do we assume?

Maybe , Maybe Not

In the labyrinthine corridors of my mind, a dichotomous dialogue unfolds,
A perpetual pendulum of doubt, that oscillates between certitude and uncertainty's darkening folds.
A litany of lost opportunities, a catalog of unfulfilled desires,
Echoes through my consciousness, a haunting refrain that fuels my deepest fires.

The specter of indecision looms, a constant companion that besets my every stride,
A nagging voice that whispers "maybe" in my ear, a siren's call that beckons me to step aside.
Maybe I will, maybe I won't, the mantra of my mind's vacillation,
A maddening merry-go-round of doubt, that leaves me breathless, lost in hesitation.

At the threshold of success, I stand, a hesitant traveler, poised between two worlds,
Torn between the promise of fulfillment, and the fear of uncertainty's unfurled.
The door of opportunity ajar, a tantalizing glimpse of what could be,
Yet, the weight of doubt holds me back, a prisoner of my own indecisiveness, I am unable to break free.

In this liminal space, I dwell, a traveler in the twilight zone,
Torn between the push of ambition, and the pull of doubt's seductive moan.
Maybe, maybe not, the refrain continues, a maddening cycle of indecision,
A labyrinth of mirrors, where reflections stare, and the path ahead remains obscure, undefined, and without clear vision.

Assumption With Much Gumption

Assumption With Much Gumption

What I already made was an assumption;
When I had gathered up much gumption;
My mind expanded,
And I safely landed;
More of my poems increased consumption.

Assumption Tore Apart

My intentions were never to fight you,
I had no one to relate to share to,
On many occasions you brought me back,
To the past through the same feelings you had,
I looked up to you, I respected your strength,
I wanted the fear I had hidden so long to go away,
My heart was dying slowly yet you saw me as a threat,
I looked to you like family, yet I got ridiculed instead,
I turned my back and walked away,
How could I trust someone who would make fun of my pain,
Is this the family I thought i knew?
After all the loss we all had been through?
My heart sank so low, I couldn't stand the pain,
I had no choice but to walk away,
It took all my strength just to open up my heart,
But it was your assumptions that tore it apart.
