Ladies and Gentlemen,
Mr. Nat King Cole.

LOVE ( Sung to the tune LOVE by Nat King Cole.)

L is for the LIFE you lead each day.
O is OFTEN for the words you say.
V is VERVE that you bring to the or-din-ary
E is EFFERVESCENCE- summing up your special story. and...

LOVE is something that is truly you.
LOVE is something that is warm and new.
LOVE will test-i-fy
that what you have, I can't deny
that LOVE resides right there in YOU.

L is for the LIGHT that burns in you.
O says OR-DIN-ARY words won't do.
V is for the VOICE that speaks in poetry
E is ELEGANCE in how you craft each word to be. and..

LOVE is something that resides in you.
LOVE is constantly so warm and new.
LOVE will cert-i-fy
that what you have, no one can buy
for LOVE is simply, truly YOU. ( All right, boys, hit it, yeah...)

L is LESSONS that you teach to me.
O is OFTEN what you let me see.
V are VIRTUES that I can't begin listing here.
E is ELAN that I can't resist, so let's be clear. that...

LOVE is just the word to say to you.
LOVE describes the way we think of you.
LOVE will ver-i-fy
that what you have, I can't deny, yes,
LOVE resides right there in YOU.
LOVE resides right there in YOU. ( one more time.)
LOVE resides right there in YOU!

The Love Lie

My best friend Ary is in a bad situation.
It’s a guy that leaves her with curiosity and frustration.
She’s confused on what she should do.
I wanna help because I’ve been in a situation like this too.
But mine didn’t turn out good.
So I can’t give advice like I should.
She had a child that’s nothing less in her life.
Ary’s a good person who doesn’t deserve what she has.
He’s not good enough for her and he should be a part of her past.
But she’s caught in the love lie.
Which is when people think that what they have is the best they’ll ever get.
Ary needs to open her big brown eyes
Just wide enough to realize that she’ll find somebody new.
Boss isn’t the lost man alive
He won’t always be there and he won’t always care.
She can find a nice young man who can treat her like a Queen nothing less than
a wonderful human being.
He’ll have her smiling again and never will she frown again.
She has to leave the trouble alone.
And leave herself with time to grow.
Maybe she should take a break, find herself and learn how to avoid the mistakes.
Then she learn how to defend herself against the love lie.

Rage For Peace: Here and Now-Today In the Middle East-

The volatile excerpt reads “The behead-
ings that were carried out by the Isla-
mic State of Iraq and Syria, the
rage of hate is a control factor for
the power of the leader to be sup-
reme. Is this the measure of mankind?
The rigor-mortis that lay before us
is a terrorist creed dogma time clock.
None the less than government formed through doc-
trine of Qu’ran and Sunni stated to
be the divine order of all the land.
al-Baghdadi caliphate is mercen-
ary to the faith of the Middle East.
The rage of hate must be depleted now."

R oused was the first leader and destroyed.
a l-Baghdadi came on board.
G ruesome guerilla killed woman, man, and child for his caliphate.
E quality must be palpability today.

F ear that is caste by ISIS.
O ften is not considered by the people as a terrorist.
R egards are to the governess.

P opulations are nations
E volved to roam.
A spirations are not known.
C aliphate has formed.
E quity and identity is commercial paper shown.

Premium Member Freyja of the Night

Winter dark...solstice etches itself
on texture of bleak silhouette
ebon in fervor...cycle’s lymph
grips the inked winds halving the cleft
between old eve and fresh sunset
as morn falls on dry ice...asleep,
yet kismet unlocks ...creatures reap
harvest of new moon’s oath...to keep.

We call to you oh Mother Night
through dances bold... in purity,
a circle cast in pearled delight
from dusks impressed by sanctity
our candles burn for life’s bounty
lyrics ole trill...magic-soft
elements fuse...an alchemy
of holly sheen to ride aloft.

Freyja, one with Mary...bewitch
within the dark of darkest night
we dance the fire with trimmings rich,
your blessed radiance... stars ignite
as womb brings forth...a child of light
one tender spirit filled with worth
a promise of new Yuletide bright
the gift of word...made flesh...son’s birth!

Sloe Gin

Feb-ru-ary –
Snow-white blossom,
Winter hedgerow shining.

Now September –
Hedgerow harvest:
Sloe-black, slow, black,
Black fruit with purple bloom.

Sloe gin, slow, gin,
Let the alchemy begin.
Blackthorn, black fruit,
Steeped in finest London gin.

Locked in Kilner
In dark cupboard.
Wait till dark December ......

Ruby colour,
Rich aroma.
Delicious sip,
Post-prandial
Christmas dinner nip.

"Proper Pam im-promiscuity carries a
tepid torch against the blank footlights
of a dimlit digital marital marquee---last on the
billing of a car-null double featurette like
a black and white bijou plotless rerun
hand cranked by an arthritic arm;
pit pursuant of
quicksand lust with a gray gaze monotony
able to hitchhike from a plavce point left
only undetermined,
I've seen more action from a shoe sticky floor
or a large hole in an uncomfortable seat cushion,
not to "juxtapare" mind me but what a

numbers from the credit card diction-ary of child
desires---stratfied pleasures far from TILT
lean calmly on majestic inconsequentials--like
ships passing in the night.

Climb the Hill(ary), feel the Bern
We're Cruzin' to the Fall
Trump through the Bush
Find a Rubi Oh! God please save us all

Began this trip with many more
New POTUS at the end
On election day November
Hope for the best my friend

Elephants and Asses
At least they claim it's so
Conservatives and Liberals
Democratic Socialist you know

They all have their agendas
To you a word of note
Not all truth in what they're saying
Study hard before you vote

The President's elected
By the majority
If that's less than half the eligible
Is up to you and me

It Was Meant To Be Legen Wait For It Dary

Empty bottles on the floor
 dirty Cloths across the room
A telephone that takes no call
and the fragrance of her perfume

Her Make up by the mirror
where she use to brush her hair
 honeymoon pictures on the wall
of our happy times last year

Her Wedding dress in the closet
 Fridge is cold and empty
And the rocking chair in the corner
She bought to rock our first baby

The bed we use lay on to see
“How I met your mother “with barney
And she swore our love was going to be
 Legen.....Wait for It …..Dary
“Legendary”

Outside my broken window
 a plane fly high above
and I remember when this use to be
 a happy house with love

She love to spend hours in the park
now I’m sitting on our bench alone
 happy Children playing all around
And a little boy spill his ice cream cone

So many people just passing by
 some wave and says hello
 They see a regular man
 With pains that doesn’t show

Jasmines flowers grows in an open felid
Bird flying about an apple tree
She swore our love was going to be
 Legen.....Wait for It …..Dary
“Legendary”

She promise, she promise to never leave
But it’s a promise she had to brake
She gone and hurt me so much
And I know how much more I can take

She was the life that beats my heart
The only women I ever truly love
And although it was just a while
She was everything ever dreamt of

We met at the pyramid mall in Malaysia
And on my knees I hold her hand
 We got married in Trinidad
With chutney, soca and steel band

We honeymoon in island of Tobago
 Walked Under full moonlight
Picking up seashells on the sand
Stars sparkling in the beautiful night

And this feeling you wish will last forever
As she use to say till infinity
And our love story was going to be
 Legend.....Wait for It …..Ary
“Legendary”

But god works in ways we don’t understand
And i can never know the reason why
He sends an angel for me to love
Then take her back in his heaven in the sky

It Gets Tedious Trying To Teach You Half-Wit Poets How To Write Something of Substance

SANK---SHOE----ARY

One evening I sank into a sanctuary
I wasn't lonely although i was alone
I once visited a maudlin mortuary
and it made me wish i were nothing but bone

no flesh to sweat nor tears to shed
just my body in a coffin forged of brass
i'm not certain why I had a wish to be dead
perhaps I was tired of walking upon broken glass

in that mortuary all was quiet and still
no shouts from the masses religion quells
I was growing weary of always walking uphill
and wished to silence some noisy church bells

next to the mortuary stood a church philled with phools they be
in rapt attention the congregation listened as the pious priest spoke
while in the very last row of pews sat a silent me
it was my sole desire to separate myself from those kind of folk

i would not nor dare open a hymnal to sing
and to this day I remain ever contrary
i break commandments to which the phoolish cling
so I raced back to the sanctity of that sanctuary

Best Friends

My best friend’s name is Ary’Ana Burns. We met freshman year and have been
bound at the hip ever since. It’s funny because we act just alike. Sometimes it’s
annoying because we might finish each other’s sentences or be thinking what
the other one is thinking. She has a baby and it’s difficult for her to be there for
me always but when she can; she has my back. I love her to death and wouldn’t
ask for another friend in her place. Without Ary I wouldn’t be the same and I’m
proud to call her my best friend.
