Best Ambergris Poems
I feared to reach for the ambrosial drift
of ambergris floating
through turquoise tides
beneath the rising sun ~
reluctant to relish the resilience
of nascent nova,
as if every ray
of light held
blackness of uncertainties,
yet I’ve learned to
heal beneath the searing
heat of hypocrisy ~
I glow on, no longer obscured
by their oblivious observation
of my orbit,
for I am a morning star
unceasingly sparkling
across dusky horizons,
loving, living ~ breathing,
dreaming,
in love
with the calm
of crystal-clear currents,
and the crescendo
of poetic collisions,
for this heart unlocks gateways
to the abyss of sea-salt silence,
allowing dawn to caress
the corners of my suppressed fears ~
as the eclipsed cannot
dim the pulse of painted patience
with butterfly strokes…
I am a windward wanderer
stirring among
life’s whimsical waves,
as the sky spills
caramel clusters
over celestial cerulean,
and my soul unfurls
like an odyssey
kissed by the divine flame,
scripting
deep warm hues of blue ~
colors of fate,
only you and I can reveal,
for we are both
brushed with oil,
lost in the
serene palette of siren secrets…
and life ~
O soul feeler,
this existence is a sail
we voyage through
sighing stillness
and soaring sapphires
cradling simple blessings
that nature gifts us
wrapped in unwavering faith ~
QUEEN Afareen designed a perfume bottle
she herself exuded a scent of untainted ambergris, orris wafted as her heavenly cue
lime with jasmine spritz her exuberant brew
a black swan neck curved crystal female form
this bottle crafted in alexandrite, mirroring her
pharaoh shaped silhouette, gold sun rays embedded facade, stopper of opal warm
ruby inlays rested languidly at bottle base
slivers of pearl and aquamarine laced
replica of Aphrodite she encased in Myanmar teak, sculpted with elk ivory, reclining bottle
in Muga silk before a river lilting lily wattle
then gifted herself her own bottle, liquid tomb
nimble fingers twisting opal top for perfume
her unique irreplaceable exuding essence
imperceptibly drifting reverent presence
drinking the last undistilled drops from
edenic perfume bottle, QUEEN Afareen
extinguished herself gracefully into muscled
arms of Adonis, as bottle drifted downstream
towards turquoise ocean emptied, beamed
a sorrowed counterploy buried, it screamed

This is you
You are Africa
Your skin composed of Platinum and Pallidium
Is found embedded in the Rocks of Zimbabwe
From Kilimanjaro came your structure
Both Tall and Mighty you are
From the Sahara came your thick hair
Bushy and Exuberant
As far as Algeria spreads
Is as far as your eyes can see
Your nose smells the Ambergris
As you stroll the coast of Madagascar
Your lips
Your beautiful lips
Resemble those of the Queens that once graced the land of Ethiopia
Your core stands erect
Taller than Mount Mikeno in Congo
The thunderous beat of your heart come from the drums of Ghana
You Hands brushed over Egypt
Thus erecting the Pyramids
Your arms wrap around me
Just like the Nile to East Africa
Your legs originate from Tanzania
Always Migrating when need be
Your feet carried the weight of mankind
You are stronger than the Elephants of Nigeria
So when anyone equivalates your black beauty to sin
Remind them of the richness from Africa you have within
This is you
You are Africa
Africa are you
I still follow
the blinking spells
of the rose wine sunsets
before surging sandstorms,
believing in the euphoric breeze
floating across the
shivering skyline,
echoing vermilion voices,
lost in the limestone grains,
as questions of change
interrogate the empathy
encrypted within
my inhibited intuition,
like spices of kismet flames,
swirling to the fluid fluency
of sentimental keys
in saxophone tunes…
But in the midst of moving monsoons,
I feel the eagle feathers of Zeus
rain upon the crystalline swing,
crooning songs of tameless time~
wrapped in the crescent cocoon
of silent splendor,
as I rise, dressed in steel and silver.
I hear the bluebird dream
in symphonies of the karmic sea,
streaming with specters
of star-struck ghosts…
O majestic marine jewel,
change is a promised ocean.
It’s sprouting coral blues
from reefs of ambergris embers,
awaiting floods of onyx tears
and jagged thistles,
like a tsunami of smeared streaks
reflecting the smoke
and swollen stains of the red sun.
Tonight, I erase the last mistake;
a scribbled imitation
of my aching past,
for I could not veil the scars,
failing to seize the
splitting clusters of
slate and garnets,
burning between
sleepless lakes,
drenched in midnight terrors,
as satanic waves
blur the turquoise surfing
through the limitless twilight.
Yet, I hear the mermaid moon
call my name in magical refrains,
steering my iridescent silhouette
to an ivory shore
where ebony hints of ink
would home the hermit castles,
where you and I can breathe~
as soulmates destined
to draw neon lifelines from
bioluminescent sparkles…
So let the bluebird drift into an orchid dream
where karma is the poet~
draped in deep violet,
writing elegies
to the eclipsed eyes of the red sun
that stole the silk and sage
of summer sighs…
And change is more than just a mere rhyme,
it is the ultimate essence
to rearrange
whimsical words
woven within wind
from honey and gold
of a
dulcet
dawn.
MY NATURAL BEAUTY
O bizarre beauty,
O eclipse of a perfectly contrived creature.
O rustful bonny frame cladded with muck,
Made fleshy with its suppleness as lime soot.
O dark glinting hair like fleece interwoven, that soon
Would turn grey sky in Northern Arid Savannah
O Artiste physique, well endowed-
Like Benin feminine bronze sculpture;
An obsolete craft, to wane into gloomy oblivion.
O brilliant ebony skin with the wafting allure
Of ambergris to suffuse the whiff of odorous incence.
O passing beauty –
By Circadian or Accidental dissipation.
How best can I appreciate you, my beauty?
Except to behold you,
As a precious mound of carcass
Bedecked of sands and worms and air!
When I behold you as such, and still my heart is lured
With an irresistible longing to
Rouse this masculine flesh into verveful concupiscence
From this raw natural state,
This be a perfect beauty, a perpetual love.
And so will my soul drink content,
A brimming measure of this natural lee of love
And thirst no more to find beauty!
Make my life storm and shelter;
Earth and magic before mortal promises
Whispered into storm gray silk.
It is all fantasy behind green eyes
Laced with a tiger's grace.Golden earrings and ambergris
And the sweet scent of repletion...
The solace of one, pure, jewel bright
Unbroken bond
Held in the hollow of your heart and hands.
Sweep away the sorrows of the Past, my love;
Offer me unbridled passion with your kiss.
We do but simply rest in gentleness
Just beyond the lamplight's sweetest glow.
Time passes as it must.
The way of worlds turning
Is not so ordered by our standards...
And we live as we must.
We live, my love;
We are the softest of ripples
The soft ripples of laughter
Filling the air.
Storm and shelter...
Day and Night...
We are a righteous pair.
Passages through
The reality of Storm and Shelter
We truly areA righteous Pair.
MY LOVE!
Wow, see her coming
From her heavenly boudoir like spring
The angelic bonnie queen
Chaste and verdant as virgin green!
Such glossy cheery smile
That I’m mesmerized all the while,
And her articulate serpentine gait
Like proud riverine princess of that rate.
Her appearance’s like magic wand
That makes everything beautiful and grand;
Her sweet-scented air as of ambergris
That causes all to whiff with bliss!
What a skin! Soft brilliant ebony, incarnate
In refined sunny gold glint climate;
With loose suited raiment of nature’s kind,
This soignée queen elsewhere I never find.
How her eyes radiate love’s fires
And I, enchanted by sheer love’s desires
Her fine lips set like bloomed roses;
Her voice, akin with wind blown pansies.
Were I lucky to endear myself to you
Would I render a burning love so true.
For your beauty is of no essence or mould
If no one do have you to hold!
Make my life storm and shelter;
Earth and magic before mortal promises
Whispered into storm gray silk.
It is all fantasy behind green eyes
Laced with a tiger's grace.
Golden earrings and ambergris
And the sweet scent of repletion...
The solace of one, pure, jewel bright

Aambergris
is what it was
that washed up on the dunes ,
Aabalone
in the hands of children
'neath the moon.
Sstarfish
fallen from the sky ,
and Sseaweed for our heads
we fell asleep along the reef
upon our sandy Bbeds .
the Ddreams
that came
were Neptunes' own,
He held a triton on his throne,
he bade us ride a steed below
a spritely Sseahorse all aglow
we wondered why he even cared
to show us , but we gawked and stared
at Ttreasures measureless by man
he said he had a clever plan,
if we should want to breathe the air
we'd have to bring a Ttreasure there
or stay forever down below,
we begged him just to let us go,
he said just one could rise above
and prove an everlasting Llove
by casting Ggold into the sea
and then the other would go Ffree
I went ashore
and straight to bed,
I still hear voices in my head
they say .......
"'where have you gone my dear?"
when I hold Sseashells to my ear.
Confused and wary like a
spermwhale, you are
nosediving;-
through the shadows
of terrible pain
ejecting ambergris.
Who was getting
the bribery
to fix the belly button ?
This was not revolution.
It was evolution-
of a stinking city.
The gods were sleeping
on the lips of a pride.
Nurses were preparing the bed.
How far the sane voice
will reach, to deliver
the relics of a salted dynasty ?
•
Unbodied, how do I touch you
groping ? The message was not
clear. How to kill oneself on stage ?
A beehive falls on
your head. Are you going
to scream ?
Entire town was going
for a pilgrimage. The saint
was preparing for a self-burial.
A hundred thousand moons
were placed on your crown.
The sun was going to roll.
Charred bodies
were turning in graves.
Who was becoming untouchable now ?
Give me a kiss of cobra.
My bandaged life
wants to sleep in peace.

His severed legs were
tucked under his head to serve as a pillow.
He was half-eaten.
Howling
was silencing all the shames
Woman, I am not coming home.

A curio shoppe on the edge of Khartoum
on the edge of the world
on the cusp of our doom
smouldering incense
bade us come in
a cornucopia
whispered my friend
an aura of daydreams
dappled the air
a cyclone of chaos
strewn everywhere
antiquated cast a ways
cadence from a bygone day
a cossack in a dark burnoose
offered potions
swirled in juice
pomegranate grated fine
adrift in elderberry wine
the phantom laughed
a banshee sound
a scarab scuttled
'cross the ground
a bouyant vapor floated past
ambergris,a glowing glass
carousel of fantasy
castanets inside of me
I don't know how you found the door
wicker splintered
something more
then the wharf,
cerulean sea,
the coral moon
and we were free
in the boat I breathed a sigh
until I caught the
scarabs eye.
Closed to me seven so cute bottles
Each one of them is a quarter of a Tola,
Each one is beautifully covered by smooth tulle
Musk, rose, ambergris, camphor, basil, mint, and Cade fragrant
From dark brown to light white, pure water color, core aroma in scents
Who is who!?
Chance
Tola is an Indian unit of weight; the standard Tola is equal to 180 grains or 11.664 grams. Cade tree (Pandanus tectorius).
Oh the elegance of diamonds
Soft allure of indulged perfume
A beautiful, ceaseless onslaught
As it wafts clearly through the room
I dance blissfully in ball gowns
If only urban elastics
Thin pink veil and silk ribbons
Stepping light, I cast no shadows
My divine ambergris and glass
So I shine, like a newborn sun
Alas my emeralds are not
Though rich memories don’t tarnish
Black vests complete, running compete
Gloved hands open gold ornate doors
Gentle lace traverses my gown
Pearls dangle sweetly on my chest
Nobly crowned, I incline to all
Jealous lips kiss sapphire rings blest
Cruel enemies and journey men
I ride lively across all hearts
When given, parents cried for joy
As if I were a princess true
Or a prince blessing a kingdom
I will mean more than Big Ben does
Sophisticated child of four
Mother’s princess and her true love
I still can’t dine with silver, yes
But dream of crystal palaces
When you go deep in your silence, there is nothing can break you but the faint sound of your days and when you read my poetry you will know that I am a farmer from the south my father has planted me with our ambergris. Yes, I am a simple farmer from the south around me a small tree, a small river and a small family. My morning is kneaded with my small daughter’s smiles, my evening is colored by my big son’s tales and my night is the glory of the soft hand warmness. When you have a family, at that time, you will see the secrets of twilight, the delicious taste of the backache and the very wide world of a small family in the south. Yes, I have a small family in a small house with a small window, but my eyes can see the beautiful night stars and my heart can touch the charming morning smiles. When you have a family, your smile will have pink lips and your work will wear a crown. Yes, my friend, when you have a family all the days will be valentine and all the times have meaning. Yes, when you have a family, there will be sadness and happiness, crying and laugh, pain and pleasure, but believe me this is the meaning of life.
Private rustic dwelling ancient orchard
Leg of lamb with apricots and raisins
Saffron rice salad walnut oil dressing
Ambergris fragrance stroked his cheek
Long dress white linen steam pressed
Pristine white card Dark suit bodyguard
Highly polished rosewood dining table
Red stripes of traffic lights in the night
Spoon twirling fettuccini around his fork
Windows looking out onto the city lights
Walls covered with cabinets of books
Cosy cuddles piles of crushed clothing
Midsummer bonfire white-hot energy
Skin glistening sweat traced a circle.
