Premium Member Peace Slips Lightly
Peace slips lightly
Over my shoulders
Downy in its softness
Its netting of gossamer
Floats downward
As a willow's branches
Might brush fate
And touch the unknown
I stand with beauty
I hug airiness

Fire in distant trees
Burnished red and gold
Drop their leaves
One by one by one
Spaces fill knowingly
Like a precise jigsaw
Designed by eternity
Its pieces...

My being rises beyond hills or feathers gliding
deepened by silence immense,
where in peak of light anointed
through soul union--
the grail of non- resistance widens
   Beyong boundless path,
        a haloed center drifting on
A meditative space...

Premium Member Ode to a Dove
Blight the clouds lowly dispirited feigns,
Despite these regards there belies the shrouds,
In height uncovers the misplaced reclaims,
Ignite, blameless drives of a dove in clouds.

In measured distance or that of life's span,
Of treasured reflections as fawning dawns,
A feathered friend that needs a shepherd's hand,
Unfettered airiness descends...

Premium Member Meditation On Light
Ethereal, fleeting, incandescent
I grasp loosely at the airiness
So vibrant on the escarpment
X-rays pass through bone and flesh
Leaving no mark
I hold emptiness

Where are the diamonds?
Filling my fingertips?
Brushing my lips?
Tickling my tongue?
Lingering within my heart?
Eternity breaks open
Inverting itself within dark holes
Moons, planets and stars swirl

My amazement blazes...

Premium Member The Scent of Water- a Tercet
One leaf left on tree
No undue unhappiness
Always in great spree

One leaf left on tree
All by itself in the airiness
Feels never lonely or retiree

One leaf left on tree
It spends itself as it sways
Breathing with utmost glee

Last leaf not the end ever
As its time comes, collapses
New buds...

Premium Member My Dad In Quotes
When playtime was over my tiny hands tediously picked up Tyco toys, a fistful of three at a time. "Atta girl," my dad would encourage. This daunting task was heroically spared when his master hands lifted fifty in one easy scoop.

You may not know this,...

Premium Member Path of Meditation
somewhere,
along an intersection of a mystical dance,
I have climbed, levitated and roamed
into a pathway of seasonless space,
where my fluid, heightened breath
circles along veils of astral light
sun eclipsing moon: dark-toned, half-streaked...

one flick of a star nestled on my blown hair
while another winked...

I Am a Twinkling Star
I twinkle in the eyes of a crazy beholder,
Concealing bouquet of flaring smoulder.

I flicker sailing in the pitch-dark sky, being bright:
Fusing atoms in cores to create heat and light.

I am red while cool and turn blue when hot;
Luminosity portrays my size & shape on spot.

I...

Premium Member A Separate State
Of a dawning in a brilliant twilight hoverance,
Skipping along an unmarked trail so unexpectedly,
Dared naught say out mumbled words offered without pure malice,
None receptive to my thoughts for a soulless oddity,

Passed a bed of sleeping lilacs, waits for a yellow sun,
Tiptoed throughout their yawning, sweet...

Champagne Lady Ii
Conflicting waves ruffle the smooth blue static
hindering the ethereal progression of her path
Airiness sinks heavily to lean into leaden aqua
mistiness lingering, a foggy dolorous requiem
Practical currents, seem to have lost their step
as winds gust, only to die in competing dogma
Gone again are the gains...

Premium Member Lotus Spins

A sitting takes me to an attic of raw light
bestowing quiet glow for travelers
unyielding to a precise compass
of direction, a spaceless space nourished as it
were, losing the self to Bodhi-like clouds
and nomadic lotus spins.
 I release this soul buried
in the kundalini to a...

Premium Member Gazing Off
I have often gazed
up at the sky, and
off at the sea – sensing
a certain innate airiness
about me; told of relationship
between fishes and me –
the firm of land perhaps
only relative to my thinking...

often restlessly pacing,
soaring,
falling,
drinking
and sinking....

wondering further
if distant stars and...

Miss Behavin'
Mind meanders the off-beat, sultry stream
In his irises beam dreamy-colored confetti
Satin seeds spark growing sensorial needs
Smiling silken caresses of petal-rich kisses

Breezy boldness makes a bloom succumb
Enamored by airiness, to nod and swerve
Heaven’s clouds swept along in hilly mirth
Aquamarine shines all ‘round a lily, Canna
Vivacious freckles...
