Off the Shelf

I've been sitting up here day after day and months on end, and please, let's not talk about years. I watch you stare at me when you think I'm unaware. I see you vacillate between life's mundane and the big, beautiful me, and oh, how I cringe when you buckle to those artificial fears.

This old, stale dust has covered me, concealing my illustrious shine. Please know I am forever in your heart and indelibly in that beautiful mind.

You were made imperfectly, but you have been so faithful. I've seen your long nights and slow days. Oh my! What we can and should be is so bountiful.

It is no accident that I was born in your heart and aggrandized in your mind. Come on now, take me off this shelf, and clean me up. The world is waiting; let's get in line.

The bumps, accidents, detours, and road construction along the way enticed you to put me back on this darn shelf. Sure, we have had to remap a time or two or three. But this journey must continue; we have our help.

I see the cuts, scrapes, bruises, mental anguish, pain, and frustration you bear. But you're still standing, so take me off this shelf, and let's get there.

I'm still waiting! But don't make me wait much longer. It's time to eat; let's feed this born hunger.

Poof! Poof!

Dilemma

Although you thought it loud to me
How unwanted I would always be
After you swept me off my feet
To only toss me to the streets

Although you cursed my truthful care
And rare faith that’s unfound here
And upon bruised my love so true
Real love that chose to care for you

You took away my smiling face
With it you took my best grimace
And was seized my laughter too
Along with it my feelings true

My heart is stressed from cursing thee
It pounds; it beats as it grows weak
My whole being hates your memories
Irony; craves your company

An outcast lost in your own heart
I weep, I wail in woman’s land
And thus has none to console me
In all this pain, that’s all but sweet

Although your eyes still comfort me
Lost in your gaze, I find relief –
Although your smile still consoles me
Rejection wakes my unbelief

When in your face I find kindness
Warmth and embrace of loveliness
Just then withdrawn, your heart and care
You seek not I, you seek one else

An empty box, a hungry hole
Has swallowed all to remain so
I despise you so much my dear
But would give all to have you near

Aggrandized hurt, and agony
Can one feel so, and keep “to breathe”?
Each time the thought, “not having thee”
Nearby enough, so I’d be free

Thief of always, beautiful curse
You make me soar, then make me fall
Eternal dream I wield awake
All yours to give, more so to take.

This Time

Flushed,

kicked to the curb and stunned,

waanning, waanning and crumbling crumbs,

dispelled as dumbed,

come backs like lakes of water aren't even fun,

toned and intonated,

17 things to endanger-
39 to reconnoiter,

there was nothing to do,

nowhere to go,

some people showed,

they were enhanced,

I was so gold-

aggrandized yet grow'd,

I couldn't even agree with the folks,

got stunned and littered as the roads,

melted plaster and recreated the last masters focused.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

A 17 Year Old Writer.......!

The pseudo alacrity that he is callow,
Lacking emotions, maturity shallow,
Ignorance ammassed, adulthood fallow,
When summarizing vices, all but hallow!

Writing about the footprints of Marriage,
The opposite sexes' ultimate courage,
Bestowed hatred, ransacked heritage,
Frankness kicked for a conventional adage!

Writing boldly about the bold profession,
Of the vexed fair sex, the last option,
Me, shooed away in the biased election,
'Remain in your limits', the unanimous admonition!

Describing the instincts of a teen,
His wild thoughts, crave obscene,
'Too young to know', advice harsh and mean,
Empathy, curiosity, the unvalued beings!

Generation of young writers, ought to be recognized,
Share of the wrinkles, not to be aggrandized,
Opposing the latter has never been our prize,
Judge us by candidness, a feeling of Paradise!

Our Consecrated Aura

The four lettered word spoken,
by your aggrandized soul,
has spiritually awoken,
revitalized and made me whole.

Your aura is a heavenly halo,
a circle of light above your head,
known for the warmth you throw,
I cry as your whiteness spreads.

Sensing your internal light,
wherever, whenever, in day or night,
conceived by your beautiful sight,
forgetting all about the pain of delight.

Your aura reflects like a prism,
during mid-summers day heat
and yes I'll follow your rhythm
and If needed, I shall repeat.

Your field of energy, not invisible,
distinct intangible intense quality,
our completeness is invincible,
reaching the highest velocity.

Sacred reflections understood,
you and I share this secret,
declared free of falsehood,
our desires become intermediate.

I whisper, “My sweet Nicholas,”
you whisper, “My dear Laura”,
I wish the whole world could witness,
our shared consecrated aura.

I Accuse

I accuse ..... Part 1

My inner hedonistic self long to villainy inclined
Dwelling too long on flamboyance and enshrined
A morbid,horrible indeed skirt chaser
Endeavoring to beguile women and maneuver

Blaming it all on Satan's duplicitous whispers
Spurning to ditch eavesdropping physical beauties
Rolling with the punches yet persevered
Dragging my heels to relinquish and never repented

Our next door annihilating the cats we home-produced
Who have gormandized his rabbits and livestock downsized
Butted in on his weary sleeping pillow
Mating loudly, frequently and aggrandized his sorrow

Yet could medication be of any use
To what a whole epoch has abused ?

In the imagery network of intricate design,
layer on layer, the metaphoric mind is stratified,
the levels of innate awareness are aligned
with the unique perspective patterns unified.

Many elements of the singular identity secures
access to the secret sanctum of psychic recess,
transcend the timeless thresholds of joy and pain,
as senses merge with the supreme consciousness.

My metamorphosed mind turns into an inventor,
makes a mirror with the luster of mirage for me.
I look into it reaching the self-aggrandized oasis,
where it is only me as Narcissus I always see.

The blow of tormenting time breaks the mirror,
my ethereal essence transforms it into a window.
I see the twilight gleam shimmer in the horizon,
beckons me to start a new journey before sundown.

I travel within as an introspective probing voyager,
perceive the eternal soul in the alcove of bliss,
suffusing me with the absolute aura of divinity,
I get liberated from the hold of mortal abyss.

My Eternal House

I saw fully in a dream
My eternal house
Lest I forget
I drew the words in a book
And lest I mix words with images
I Identified the features of my imagination
I've seen my eternal house
Tower high
And its limbs stretch through
And span the whole earth
Inside its walls
Songs of praise are sung
As an array of birds
Chant and glorify the Almighty
I saw him swelling
Extending his arms to each bird
Beyond the horizon
Decorated with lights and the lights above
The most beautiful and aggrandized of lights
Its doors of gold its walls of gold
And a courtyard multicolored
My tongue unable to describe
In words
To those who never knew God's light
No mind or imagination can make them realize
He is obscured, hidden, but eternal
No sea can drown him
Nor sky grow dark around him
In no words can I describe the mercy of God
Yet his presence evident on the wings of a bird in the air
He has honored me and protected my heart against abuses
I saw my eternal house in a dream
Lest I forget
I draw its splendor
For the sharp-witted and judicious
In the folds of the clouds

Measurement of Life

Life is measured not by the outer wealth
Acquired and aggrandized,
But by the inner health and wealth –
The values and virtues of life
Cultured and cultivated.

Life is measured not by the names and fames
Earned and attained,
But by the humour and humility in life
Adored and adorned.

Life is measured not by the power and prestige
Gained and gathered,
But by the peace and poise in life
Nourished and nurtured.

Life is measured not by the length and breadth
Covered and coveted,
But by the depth of understanding
The realities of life
Lived and loved.

Premium Member If Kingdom Comes, We'll Be Undone

We are on the crux,
The cusp of kingdom come,
In which our own becomes undone,
Our lands, our bodies,
Shall be seized by the folly of a smoking gun.

Proof of tyranny has evaded eyes,
Yet play before them still,
A lack of empathy, incessant lies,
Have become the suzerain’s will.

We’ve lost the right to our own bellies.
For the sake of an imbecilic minority.
Obsequious obsessions for geriatric orange jelly,
Will trade our freedoms for a felon in authority.

One by one they’ll fall,
The pillars of the self will collapse by the false promises for something Greater,
Which never existed.
Those with a mind know that Greatness only exists in a pursuit aimed forward,
Now more than ever.

Yet idolatry has triumphed,
Empowered by obvious lies from tyrants,
Who laugh from far places;
Laughter gushes from eastern airs whence the cold has spread.
And proselytizes the dullard sycophants,
Who don’t actually care whether a baby is dead.

Ah yes, the self-aggrandized righteousness of Christ’s devotees,
Who wish to reverse the very spin of Earth,
Pretending care for what’s in the wombs of thee,
Putting little worth in what comes with and after birth.

Pretenders claim the children are groomed,
By “the elite”, or the transphobic fault,
Caring nothing for why real children are doomed:
A Church, whose tradition is child sexual assault.

Now is the time, America, to decide our fate,
I know I’d rather a man who seems too old,
Than one who’s sole expression is hate,
And only goal is to seize more gold.

An a Lesson - Ca

Angels observe in un-articulated anguish from above,
anxiety afflicted by appalling accelerated ambition of the aggregate
that redefines the archaic, apocalyptical allure
 driving humanity to its brink of active self annihilation;
those moments of antiquated adversarial abstractions
when history goes awry in its accursedness
revels the atrocious alienation of poverty ignored,
that hidden appetency wherein
the very acquiescence of its anticipated allure,
 blinds us in our astigmatism that can anesthetize living well;
the assuage ascendancy of life's pain and amplified existence
briefly lingers, dies
as we absolve ourselves with abstinence
surpassing the more auspicious moments lost
when we could have been assertively aggrandized,
to become
 more augmented humanity.

I Dig This Title Malice In Blunderland

MALICE IN BLUNDERLAND
New born babies are being brutalized by a bastion of bastards and b*****s
S**t I couldn’t do that if I were offered untold riches
All the money in the world couldn’t motivate me to commit such an atrocity
As the blood of beautiful babies flow due to a self-serving monstrosity

I hear of all the babes who are stabbed, shot or beaten to death
The tiny ones who were only recently blessed by their first birth’s breath
But all too soon a baby’s blessing of breath becomes an acerbic curse
When heathens head a hoard of men to codify the madness of a monster or worse

The devil is their kin while hellish horror is their credo and misbegotten belief
Because too many babes are born to be baptized and bastardized by gargantuan grief
It’s a staggering and insipid account I hear of far too often
With snapshots in living color of another corpse in a tiny coffin

Infants are instantaneously incinerated when insanity comes quite caustically to call
How the hell they can do it is, fortuitously for me, something I will never understand
As the unrighteous and unholy ogres who see babes as souls to murder, mutilate and maul
All the acts of slaying infinite infants who were birthed by the grandiose and aggrandized by
all
babies are being butchered by brutal brutes with despicable malice
As some heinous individual ignores the severity of a parent’s needs
While a mahogany and gold leafed casket becomes an innocent’s eternal chalice

And is there anyone guarding and guiding this all?
Babes birthed by the grandiose and aggrandized are being brutally butchered
As some heinous individual ignores the severity of a parent’s needs
And thanks to the mortician that babe no longer bleeds
As these

I Am One, I Am Many, I Am All, I Am Few

I AM ONE, I AM MANY, I AM ALL, I AM FEW

People may say tell me about yourself
Kids? Job? Tastes?
No I will not tell you these things.
I am many things - but these are not me

I am one who
Is  pleased to be a man who is capable;
Who  can cut it when the pressure’s on;
Who hopes for the best, and expects absolutely nothing
And as a result, is never disappointed.

I am all the things a man should be
Like  a reliable helper,  and  not looking for help;
A deep thinker  who  enjoys new thoughts from others;
Sympathetic to the needy and downtrodden,
Impatient with the rich and aggrandized.

I am few of the typical types found among men.
Music feeds my soul, as does the smile of a child.
Ambition drives me on, but only when I allow it.
Mistakes – I’ve made lots, but not the same one twice.
Can’t take myself or life too seriously, I just gotta laugh.
