Premium Member Ageless Seeds of Simple Joys - a Collaboration With Robert Lindley

When walking in splatter of Spring's anticipated rains
blessed is the youth in you, if wearing no shoes;
further given if you can then see rainbow hues
thus finding such fantastic sights halt great worries and pains.

Such fleeting rewards fly by with blossoming paradise sails
should you bask in that magnificent soft warm glow;
savor precious moment, follow which way it blows
casting care to the wind, seek victory that never fails?

As smiling blue sky, clears to send you a most wondrous day
your heart explodes in radiance of sacred gifts
with sunny joy bestowed as clouded spirit lifts -
hope’s appreciation cupped in hands; precious golden ray.

Sweet tears of joy that bring us back to laughter of our youth
when colors filled our world not overcast with doubt,
and purest pleasures bloomed and new ideas did sprout
from creativity’s simple seeds sown in fertile truth.

So for a time give wings to worry’s flight from your pained mind,
your future’s not as bleak as life would make it seem;
bare feet can splash in puddles neath a rainbowed dream,
life’s pleasures in your golden age still there for you to find.

I Believe

I believe the sun will shine vibrantly as always on every living thing, as the earth wakes to its brilliant nourishing life-giving beams.

I believe the grass will remain a shimmering emerald green, soft as nature's carpet beneath my feet as I stroll in sunlit streams.

As I observe, smell, touch and feel all that is about, I know as well that what resides within this vessel emanates from the source.

I believe this energy is in everything and has neither beginning nor end, is beyond measure and eternal.

Within resides a boundless chasm of knowledge, an everlasting, awesome and amazing force.

Premium Member There I Am Ageless

I peer at myself in the mirror.
My forehead is nice though I like it covered with bangs.
Lines there are to be expected,
and so too, the crows’ feet at my eyes.
At the base of my forehead are dark brown brows.
They are the one aspect of my face
that I’ve deliberately and totally transformed.
No longer Brook Shield eyebrow lookalikes,
they have been plucked into the tamer form I desired.

My nose is the same long nose with its strange small hump
that I detested since my youth,
but I have learned to live with it.
Though I am not fond of my profile,
when I see myself straight on, I find my nose rather cute.
As with all things in my life that I learned to accept with time,
I now accept the length of my nose as a quality which gives it character.
My extradordinary Roman nose is part of who I am,
regardless of the fact I have no Italian blood!

When I really analyze my aging face,
I see that the weight of all my years has lengthened it.
My face was always long, but nicely oval.
It’s even longer now, thin, and just a tad droopy.
Yes, life has pulled it down,
and I’m not terribly pleased about that.

Chipmunk cheeks above smiling dimples
have given way for a somewhat more somber look
due to my laugh lines (no laughing matter)
having grown more defined.
Those deeper lines I think reflect
my having delved more deeply by now
into things of which fresh youth
can simply not conceive.

If I could use a veil,
my long-lashed eyes above it would seem the same
as I have remembered them since my guiless youth.
Their light, indistinct color (Grey? Green? Blue?)
stays forever lovely. Find me behind them.
There I am ageless.

Our Ageless Love Was Kismet Kissed

Yes my love, our joining was truly Fate
for immediately we both just knew,
hope had bellowed it is never to late
my destiny was love and life with you!

Love, ours glistening rubies and pearls
hot-love feasts served upon long golden trays,
memories, night love baths in heated swirls
greatest treasure my soul embraces today!

In paradise my heart sought your soft touch
sweet embrace and curves of your luscious lips,
non-stop, crescendo was almost to much
on this earth, we took such heavenly trips!

Our fated romance proves that true love stays~
through it all, thick and thin, sorrowful grays

Sonnet,
( Written as a reply to another awesome, inspiring love sonnet presented here by a very, very talented poetess)

Ageless

I have nothing else to give
From the bottom of a febrile heart,
And ageless is this love
Growing younger by the passing day.
Pyramidal like champagne, cascades
In its purest concept,
Bubbling as the crystal stream
Cleaves the blackest rock.

To expose the fertile soil
And perpetrate impassioned rites;
Copulates my dusky soul with
Fever burned of fearful death.
I have nothing else to give
From the singing depths of sanctuary,
And ageless be this love
Breathed 'till the dying breath.

Timeless dreams stir my heart,
Pearls of light, pearls full of insight,
Silencing the darkness who remembers
Only the trembling ache of past,
Who feels lost in the hectic waves,
From a sea of yesterday’s reservations.

Unending hopes spread into my soul,
Pearls of life’s desires, like the sparks from a fire,
Growing through the doubts, the tears,
Reassuring – despite the worries and fears,
Promising that forever will arise in the flames –
Blazing beyond the still, cool winter’s grace.

Changeless moments dwell in my spirit,
Laughing through the heartaches,
Awakening melodies, songs so brilliant,
Breathless wonders, singing like they mean it,
Whispers of prayers and the faith –
That means, with God, there is no finish.

Timeless, unending, changeless – gospel
Coming alive in the heart and soul,
Erasing the shadows with a clarity to behold,
Feelings more alive than any ever known,
Beauty that abides where sorrow once rode –
The moments of a life where gentle love is grown!

The Ageless Heart

The Ageless Heart has not time
only to seek and find that person so it can intertwine
to love and share a life so divine

It will seek across the miles whether it be roads, water or land
it's loneliness it can not withstand
for only love it understands

It knows you have lost a loved one in heaven they have depart
but the heart can not be filled
from a distance so far apart

So do not feel the guilt from the love of the Ageless Heart
it's only passion is to feel compassion
of a new love you may now embark

Life is a toll road.
All travelers pay.
By costly wayfaring,
I chanced upon eternal youth
in the loving gaze
of your ageless eyes.

Ageless Greeting of Endearment Haiku

a sweet hug and kiss
the most simply precious thing
will never get old

Ageless

One has a body that defines age
It's there performing until turning
the last page

However it's subject just as are all
life forms
To times' ravages which then become
the norms

The body is the container for its driving
machine
It's the mind of course what else would
that mean

The mirror reveals a time-aged exterior
But a working mind is proof of an ageless
 interior

In the Ageless Eyes

If all the world could see inside
            What wrinkled covers have denied
The storied life of one’s caress
For life and love and happiness

The inner glow remains intact
It’s just the outside that’s been cracked
If only they would realize
The key is in the ageless eyes

if not the world but one or three
Who’d care to see what’s really me
And not a ghost of supple skin
Not just the wrapping I am in

Why must they underestimate
                      Or misconstrue or underrate
The value of an older work
                Dismissing with a scornful smirk

Ironic as each page is turned
In every life as we have learned
The same place we shall all arrive
So grateful just to be alive

Taj Mahal Symbol of Ageless Love.

Across busy Arabian Sea,
Before the lands of sun flower skin,
There she is, land of kohinoor washing her feet;
Where three sisters of sea joining their hands
Where northern brother stands highest peak,
Circled by these centuries old neighbors;
There you are, dress in white, in that open sanctuary.

From far and near of the four winds
Those eyes and ears that feel your being,
Wondering your birth and dig your past
As mind of history numbered your moments,
Touched is the heart that receive you tale;
Tellers of you recite one theme
Deed speaks love more than word.

O you! Master piece of thousands tragic fingers,
You! Face of the ancient skills,
By moving waterside, you rest and still;
Forget not, trumpet of battle was blown here,
Where once the lonely emperor decided to erect
The manifestation of ever growing love,
For Mumtaz days were done before her time.

Heralding Silent invitation, to all the shores,
As their dwellers come to pay homage,
Millions of admirer heart, you win more
To be family of seven wonders;
Love may born and Love may die
But you change not, lonely Taj Mahal
Symbol of Ageless Love.

An Ageless Strelitzia Reginae

A beauteous smile,
dazzling,luminous
 teeth. Tingling my senses.
Allured in your land of lotus filled kisses.
Angelic cherry blossoms,oriental popes,
and the waling- waling sprouted in your
being.

Your ravishing radiance surreptitiously
stimulating my intentions. Time itself has paused
for a glance of your enticing presents. An ageless
Strelitzia Reginae,twinkling with sunlight,under
a diamond water fall. A delicate,classy,comely sight.
A beauty framed in eternal splendor guarded by
natures hypnosis.

My breath briefly captured by
rays of beauty deployed by
your insurmountable embrace.

Awestruck by your strike of WOW!!!
