Premium Member Angel Dust

On the street, it is known as “angel dust” colloquially.
It has a formal moniker in pharmacology.
The name is rather long, but is abbreviated to “PCP”
It was first synthesized as a dissociative anesthetic.
Among its side effects, it is hallucinogenic.
More seriously, to the nervous system, it is toxic.
Junkies can inhale it, ingest it, or it can be smoked.
With its use, the brain is adversely provoked.
What are often produced are hallucinations.
Sometimes, the drug fashions delusions.
There is numbness of pain, but distortions of reality.
This cannot be anything to use for you or me.

Thanks to wikipedia.org online encyclopedia for information I obtained to write this poem.

Weather Forecast

Lately, the weather has dropped drastically,
and Fall holds up serenely and beautifully;
green trees so stately gently fluctuate
against a sky of transparent blue as hummingbirds make plans to migrate,
but the downy woodpeckers interrupt their chat
with their unbearable drumming that disturbs their peace with intent.

Summer in New York State has been humid and stormy,
temperatures rose above a hundred degrees as pavements smoked,
sprinklers in streets made children happy as they were being soaked...
so very thankful to live in a rich country offering such a commodity;
adversely, a water shortage caused drought in the South allowing tragedy
as gasoline and food prices soared and spouses couldn't pay alimony.

Hot summers predict cold winters, and we await a harsh winter...
stock up on shovels and salt, keep your driveway and sidewalk snow-and-ice-free;
will you get help from your kids when snow falls...having you think of electric bills?
No, let them play and have fun...their blood is hot and they feel no chills!
And should you think of joining them, drop your shovel as if stung by a bee!
Which other way is there to endure the wintry weather living as an Alaska bear?

O pilot of my whole being! O Soul! Spirit! Atma!
O, you that leads me to the absolute Paramatma!
O, I yearn to connect with you! Communicate! Converse!
O, I long to touch you; feel you; in you to get immerse!

I'm as weak as a jellyfish; unable to hold me,
I try all the ways, to go within, like novice rishi;
I explore my self - like a saintly sage - my past, present,
I try my focal point; to this my energy I spend...!

Do I, like greedy rich, lean on my material wealth?
Or, like hypochondriac, overanxious about health?
Or, as orthodox mice, raffle-rousing, terrorizing?
Or energy wasted thinking of adversely acting?

Now, like an alchemist, I tread into my magic lands,
Like a researcher - study, synthesis, weigh wetland sands;
Like a naturist, explore beauty; ponder! Contemplate!
Like farmer, plow; manure; cultivate; irrigate; harvest!

I examine my frequent existence; stop, look, and walk!
I wait for signs from within; only inner voice I talk!
I place my hands, on my heart, and question my intentions,
I make my yatra within; walk moved by intuitions...!

Pollution

Acid has become our rain
and oceans with mercury do we stain
dioxin lies beneath our ground
in everything toxic materials be found

E-coli is used to alter genes in food
where recombinant DNA is understood
heavy metals do the population addle
as the health industry lose continuing battle

With the law makers do the inhabitants contend
and a wealthy man can the laws amend
documented information on man's pollution
yet nobody seems to have a solution

Programs that show if man were to die
nature herself would repurify
at 300 years would be the retaking
of only a portion of what mankind is making

Desecration upon desecration upon the land
mankind destroys himself with his own hand
no amount of law can change our ways
our own nature fallen since ancient of days

Scientists who study regeneration
pursue this path with great fascination
they know that the body should heal itself
but understand not sin and it's stealth

Deserts now stand where nature did blossom
the amount of the damage is beyond awesome
ground waters filled with pesticide
about it's effects have governments lied

Asbestos and arsenic and lead just a few
adversely affect the body nothing new
tons upon tons of toxins released to our air
and only for wealth do manufacturers care

Seabirds and mammals die from plastic trash
the production of garbage for making of cash
forest and savannahs are being depleted
in soil degradation are crops being seeded

With love for our earth the concerned have their say
but the pursuers of wealth do get their way
the destroyers of earth with God will clash
but this system of things will Jesus dash

A Letter To My Friend - Ii

To my dearest dear…
I hope you are doing fine
Here am occupied by laboring time
I came along to write for you
Hear from you after a long-time.
The last I met you at my place
I remember that day when you smiled at my face
Since then it had been a year
I miss you like a meteor lost in space.
Overnight chit-chats and long distance calls
Without you my friend
I would have lost nothing but all.

The day when I first saw you at the college canteen
My friend! Please forgive me
As I saw you that moment bit adversely.
Yet, it was so kind of you
That you meant for friendship,
I would never forget this acquaintance
An inbound eternal relationship.
I like you the way you speak
Specially when you speak overslowly,
I love you the way you care
Specially when you soothe me.
I admire your respect towards me
Specially when you intend me,
I wonder your candidness
Specially when I speak craps and nonsenses.
I laugh when I think of your responses
Towards those names given
I smile at your melodrama
And often by those conflicts again and again.
I felt so calm
A time when I shared my baffled charm
I felt so celestial
A time when you eased me by your warm.

My friend! If ever you need me
I will kill myself if you remind me that
I’ll read your mind, I will read your eyes
I’ll read your voice
And you will see me there.

How far you are going
You deserve a lot to me
Not matter if you forget me
I will live with your memories
Thinking that you are always there.
But promise me this won’t happen
Or else its easy to say
In reality I may lose myself once again.

I just wanted to hear from you today
And I just wish you live a long way
You live with no fear, no tears
I promise you a day you will always find me near.

Oh! My friend
I miss you like anything
Just before leaving
I want to say you goodbye.
The words written for you today
Are written forever…
Just will wait to hear from you, a reply
Till then take care and bubye.
With love from…your longed amigo.

Your Sire

He came to me
Out of the crux of the wind'
He provided for me
The substinenance that
I somehow lacked with-in
He promised me everlasting Light
With life abundantly abound
And a rescue to eternety
For which He is so adversely resound
A place taker and a peace maker
With a dispensation abound
Bestowing for all people blessings'
The riches' of his crown
For the man of God
The likeness of which their
Should ever be such a place
Is in His Kingdom
The Kingdom of Heaven

It's Good To Be On Top!!!!!!!!!

When god is favoring
Our luck is favoring
We are capable
With qualities so able,
We when come on top
The feeling is speechless
Confidence, our work area,
Our personality, our talents,
All are given new ray
All together gives perfect way
We are the star,
We are so famous,
Living in this era, the era of the king
It's good to give happiness to our creators
Credit goes to parents, teachers,
But ultimately to us.
This feeling if everlasting can react adversely
But this happiness is at the pinnacle.

Premium Member An Obligatory Liaison

I once lived and thrived in quiet meadows
Amongst a sea of buttercups and pansies
Protected by mountains of wisdom
I drank deep from crystal clear springs
That flowed for generations making rounded stones
That ranged in shades jet black to pearly white
From dawn to dusk I roamed carefree

I learned virtues, tolerance, and spirituality
I learned there was nothing, no one, better than I
I learned integrity, honesty and unconditional love
Felt invincible, imbued with abundance of self-confidence
I walked with grace in natural beauty and strength
Full of enriching dreams for the future
But the virtue of patience was never mine

In hind sight, the lack of this virtue
Would adversely affect my life forever
Good advice was tossed to the wind
A dreamer always hurrying to get some place
Away from the meadows, away from the mountains
To be free! To run free! As far as the wind would carry
An open book I was and quite an easy one to read

I seized my freedom and escaped the green meadows
To an enchanting forest I came
There I met this handsome, charming stranger
With a seemingly incredible love for me
Weary I was, yet, “this could be my prince!” I thought
So onward into my future I ran
He wined me and dined me and
For awhile I was his queen

A beautiful replica of ourselves we share
A gem that's simply irreplaceable
Unsuspecting I was throughout the years
Never a suspicion, worry or care
‘Til the day the Instant message appeared
And there it was in black and white
A blast of reality in full view!
My heart broken in pieces lay, my self-esteem in tow

The man I had trusted and given my all
Had betrayed the love we shared
As I look back to earlier days, blameless I am not
In my haste to leave my green meadows
I contracted an “obligatory liaison”
For a Marriage it has never been
Gone is the sparkle of my beautiful eyes
The wasted years of living lies
I'm done I'm gone!

Sandpaper Tongue

It was designed in order to break up their food,
but could be used adversely according to mood,
most things I say are 'wrong,' know what I mean?
I really start to wonder about heard and not seen.

Remember Ogden said: 'Just say yes to everything,'
 we know that's not possible, peace it might bring;
of course, maybe it's me with the old furry tongue,
but my sarcasm is measured, not a smoking gun.

I went to visit 'Job,' he said: 'Have patience my friend,'
that was all very well for him, no red ears to bend,
such is our 'Lot' in life, turned into a pillar of salt,
you start to wonder - why should it all be my fault.

There are some different grades of sandpaper feline,
but then to be fair, yours of coarse is a very fine dine.

Premium Member Love Has Taught Me

Love has taught me
to look deeply, beneath
the green of the heart’s
tender shoots –

every living soul
draws from a reservoir
of mixed feelings,
a spring of good laced
with evil –

I pray each day
we together strive
to trickle upwards,
in the ways of God….

Love has taught me,
that the heart, though
dedicated ruler of
body and its residing spirit
is often adversely
sway-able,

leading to autonomy
in name alone...

necessitating Christ
Love, in humanity,
as Father’s fail-safe and
Redeemer –

evil allowed by the
grace of God – not for
embracing its presence,
but for the power of
contrast –

not for what it is
but for what we learn
it can never be –
and the peace
it can never give us...

also taught me, that love
is exceedingly larger than
the lover – Therefore, not
any should think of
being defeated
for a world of hurt –

dear fondness may perish
or decline, leaving not a
measurable trace – yet, remains
a habitat unscathed, where fullness
of heart fills every vacated space –
it is a blessing I have realized;
one I have heard, well-intention
ministers preach – but only Divine
Love’s personal relationship can
ever indelibly teach –

So, as love was given me freely –
bargaining not with God, the source –
I will clearly keep love free
from earth’s surface, man’s chosen
Terrestrial-course – Love now the large
of me – outgrown my Novice Small –
Priceless Love keeping me, strong in
stance -- rock-solid – standing tall!

Clutching at Straws

I clutched a straw
albeit
one for me
that is
quite more
than enough
for I be just
one

It skews
in my hand
caused by the
grasp of it
hope its
release beckons
a recall of
its former
self

Alas,
not nearly as
close but
far worse
for where it
bends was a
tear

So now
I'd be ready
this rarest
thing that I do
as I gingerly
grasped more
then all of the
straws

Clutching
them unbeknownst
to me hails a
slightly older
kid in need
of a
straw

Looks
puzzled at first
till his inner brows
met his nose
and the outer
rosed
up

Without
fail I replaced
all save one
in the empty
jar and slowly
began to
retreat

When
suddenly a
hand reached
from behind me
and yanked
the straw I
held

Defensive
training consumed
me as I roundhouse
kicked him to a
penitent
pose

Again
with a puzzled
and now dazed look
he returned to me
my unaffected
sturdy
straw

He
tells his
friends no
more will he
be grasping
at straws
there

Then
I turned
and grinned
imagined a lesson I
received for the result of
that moment I was
unlearnt in defense
and it had finished
adversely
against
me

Funny Science

Science is fun,
Also is a pretty gun,
Can be used both way
Nice and harsh,
Nice can make us fly
Harsh can react adversely
Try, try ti use nice
It will make you nice.
