Snowflake DancersSnowfall prancers
Ballerina dancers
Gracefully, they pirouette in the air
Frosted crystals, though never a pair
Scene enhancing
Vision entrancing
Ballet romancing
Costumes white
Tumbling flight
Snowflakes flew in for their audition
Each posed in an Arabesque position
Swift Allegros
Slower Adagios
Pointed tiptoes
Emerging sun
Recital done
With risen mercury, the sunlight pelted
Each tiny snowflake had been melted
Ballerinas lost
Tragic...

Music To My SoulMUSIC TO MY SOUL
I can feel music in the air
It resonates in my heart
Their notes floating through my soul
Bringing forth thousands of rhymes
From Adagios to andantes and allegrettos,
Their poetry flowing through my fingers
In guitar strings or piano keys
It's...

Ten Word Challenge----She Lived In a FairytaleIn the fresca of her reckless dream
were halos, multi-colored
Cynosure is simply glowing
with glamour, never knowing
the dream, the wish, her fantasy
is fragile reverie
Is a place to fear, will waste her years
and where her whims have led
It will lead her on a lissome road
that's paved...

The Get-TogetherThe Get-together
Like crispy autumn leaves
tinged in vibrant orange hues,
that drop and freely float ;
Before settling for some rest,
Unless the breeze waltz
makes them dance to its tune.
We, the GOMCO 85, were,
rapt into lifeless routine,
Striving and working like Trojans;
Monotonous it might seem,
Yet content and tranquil,...

Le Cirque Bleu by Marc ChagallLe Cirque Bleu
The spotlight is aglow through the gloam
The light an indigo ink modifying color
She swings her body with agility thrusting backwards
upside down, with unseen wings,
an acrobat aerials amid the roar
She looks pretty with her fan in one hand,
long tresses flowing loosely ...

In the Hour of My NightSteel kiss from phantom blades abounding,
Adagios anguished, lick, resounding,
Fierce hammers rage, in Darkness pounding-
In the hour of my night.
My beggared soul to grim remand,
Nestles deep 'neath an ebon sand,
Where gaunt and ghostly jackals stand-
In the hour of my night.
With chaliced draught of Desolation,
Toasting Twilight's coronation,
Embraced!...

Elusive GoldElusive Gold
What was I to do
Ready when I was born
the message moved slower
as I labored faster
Every year It asked
why do you not hear
It tried in multiple tongues
dreams
thinking
asking
shouting
But
My shattered wings ceased to fly
unable to lift
severed imaginings
mired judgment
buried senses
another broken heart
Yet
Somehow
the scales of being
this weighing tray
opposite hunger
righted...
