Attuning Poems | Examples

Within the Dirt, Stars Form

Dusting the floor,
my broom wrestles
with the cobwebs lingering
from yesterday's sales,
all around the ceramics
the threads poke
in all directions,
I kick the dustpan
and the dirt crystalizes
in midair,

for a moment, it was beautiful.

Sirius, bright as always but
Canopus, closely behind.

The vacant moment
stabilizes,
attuning gravity
for the slightest
second.

The image painted its portrait
onto the walls just as

Starry Night captured Van Gogh.

Unlike brilliant masterminds,
the stars fall as gravity remembers
its role.

The glittering dots flake
over my feet blending
back into the ground,

the straws weak grip lifts
the dirt kicking it back
outside, yet again it forms
high up in the skies blending
with nature as it hides,

slowly it vanishes
as its memory remains

within the dirt, stars form.

Premium MemberThe in between stage

Having recognised we’re not body-mind,
stuporous awareness yet drags us down,
so though we know the truth, we remain blind
and in dark swamplands of fear and doubt drown.

Each offered experience wanes with time,
unless reinforced again and again,
so attuning our heart to bliss beat’s chime,
in vibrant silence, fears to rest are lain.

The master appears and then disappears
but our heart always knows that he is close,
since our destiny God Himself so steers,
so in childlike trust, we wait in repose.

Here now in this life, we’ll reclaim soul’s light,
garnering with God’s grace, spherical sight.

Premium MemberIn Your Embrace

In embrace of your love, blossoms my eager night,
Strumming themes romantic fervid passions recite

Invoked by scarlet-eventide glinting arc of twilight
As final breaths of dimming-day golden rays ignite

Signaling to emotive vibes twinkling on starry skies
Now’s the time for constellations to bedazzle eyes

In magenta, red nebulae buoying upon stellar seas
Navigating tides of joy as smiles of Venus appease

When enamored we stroll lauding exuberance of glee
Bequeathed by dreams, mystiques of desires spree,

In missives of forever-love verses of hearts decree
Responding to overtures, aspirations intimate plea,

Giving voice to latent hints echoing proffers of soul
Vying reveries esoteric sensuous heartbeats cajole

Prodding us to waltz, to rhythms of nocturnal tune,
Attuning beats of hearts beneath love-struck moon.

Premium MemberO Season of Amber Tulips

O season of amber tulips, of yellow daffodils,
Of grinning verdant prairies, of cheery hills,
Of giggling, burbling streams rushing to seas,
Of fragrant breeze rustling passions of trees;
How scintillating is the glance of your smile,
O grandeur of beauty, how jovial is your style!

O vibrance of growth, of avid nascent moods,
Emerging anew boasting budding attitudes,
Stimulating twigs of maple, oak, sycamore,
Preening aura of leaves now brought to fore;
How rhythmically you sway melodies of spring
Attuning to love themes, fervid robins sing.

O inspiring season, how you thrill meadow,
Reviving glee, from demise of wintry throe
As vibes of romance in mating songs tiptoe
Echoing birds’ frolic, rekindling barren knoll,
Nesting in realms memories of yore cajole,
Where chirps of hatchlings your glory extol.

O season colorful, abloom in showy flowers,
How gaily you tap-dance with April showers
Buoying ardent dreams of bees, butterflies,
Luring spirits romantic of daydreaming eyes
Fixated mirthfully on picturesque springtime
Lauding in awe of your magnificence sublime.

Premium MemberJourney Within

Like an eagle I soar and spin,
Hover over the skies within;
Searching something hidden for long,
Whence my life, like the Om, prolong;
Incessantly tuning...

A million stars of virtues shine,
With moons of morals intertwine;
Sun of honor never does set,
Entire heart does not seem bright, yet;
Dark spaces still swooning...

Enlightenment awaits the dawn,
Sacred fig trees boringly yawn;
Are Buddhas gone on holidays?
Are aspirations on stargaze?
Refrains from far crooning...

Divine spirit severely shakes,
Interiors, like the earthquakes;
Earth and heaven extend to meet,
Oceans and constellations greet;
Hearts and minds attuning...

The Search

I have searched for the missing consequence,
the sensing part of the whole and anonymous.
In the female laughter and sensuous chances,
in blaspheme called aloud for answers.
Traveled many temples and rang some tiny bells,
bathed in the Ganges in vain excels.
Disappointed by the yogi and his ideal,
values of dust under my feet reveal the deal.
All books and searching heaven indeed,
Your merry compassion soul console in need.
Finding you as hidden pearl of purpose reason,
magic glance and attuning season.
Hearing your softest whisper through my mental maze,
shell of my heart and your graceful dwelling place.
Let me grow quietly in your garden of life and be the part,
that makes the flower integrate the blossoming heart.
The enfoldment in time becomes virtue exalted,
integrated spirits strength highly vaulted.

Premium MemberI Dreamed a Dream

You wrote the song that enchanted lyrics
Composing avid tone to melody of music
Attuning cleverly to tenor of fantasies
Sending sensual hints to passionate wishes,

As vibrant stars ceded to darker motifs.

Infantile was my dream in night's reverie
Cuddling arms of love, hugging intently
Delighting in whispers of zealous winds
Wooed by romance of affectionate feelings,

Just before the misty sky began drizzling.

It was really you, who trampled my sleep
Just when I approached beholding your kiss.
Dismantling motives of amorous destiny
You disavowed with vigor allures of affinity,

Flashing a warning, a storm was brewing.

Rejecting my overture, you left the scene.
Your seduction was real, so was your love--
Indelible prologue to tomorrow's memory,
Yet truly ephemeral, as dreams tend to be.

The dream I dreamed never belonged to me.

Upon This Starry Night

I close my eyes to feel her rhythmic hum,
an ancient hymn that thrives within us all,
with arching curve and wise maternal sprawl,
to her fertile wood, with joy, I succumb.

As air envelopes body, mind and soul,
the breath of life flows in and fills the wells-
the deep, the dark, and sorrow it dispels
attuning unaligned with self control.

In flames untamed, unbridled passion burns
to stimulate creative drive to be,
a swirling fevered dance of breaking free,
its searing heat refines and there I learn.

The waves that undulate with tidal tow
wash over braised and battered mortal limbs
and float the fanciful and subtle whims
to soothe abrasive pain that life bestows.

Come wind and wave from earth, with flame take flight,
combine in me upon this starry night.

Heard

I have heard the light
Her radiant but sad muse
Wavering across the spectrum LIFE
These ears are tuned to the melody
that continues to play throughout our
passages in this stratosphere Today
You might think Me a strange
to remember every frequency that
keeps ringing across my melancholy face
People,
as Myself,
Sensitive to the words
Verses that are unique and distinctively different
From any sound that reverberates around this Mighty World
Does it not surprise that my Ears are the same as these eyes
Made for listening as well for Peering
I am not such a predator that uses it for leering
but,
For attuning,
into & outer space of this Earth,

Her Vineyard of Wine that keeps expanding all of her taste

Not such a Waste,mind you

If you heard what I have..
You Would Listen with Love as well

I can Tell!!
