Premium MemberBENDED KNEES

Humble start
Moment to express
Earth to Heaven
Need to pray
The Cross on the mind
A world that doesn’t spiritually care
A warning in beware
The US President acting like a King
The Holy One being the sit high and look down watch
Some people in the world refuse to bend
That could very well be their end
Wisdom of Thy
Seeing eye to eye
The creator of all
Deliverance call
Sees and responds
Wake up in Heaven’s yearn
Blessed to look upon
Embraces and assures
None better but the Lord
Power stronger than I
Today and Forever
Everlasting
Praise to above
Goodness to think of
Me and Thy

Premium MemberToo Much is Enough

' Too Much is Enough !'
                 Statement makes me laugh.

'Too Much' means ' more than ' Enough' as proverb.
'. Your ' Too Much ' may not tally with that of mine.
My ' Enough' may be your 'Too Much', as you observe.
' Too Much ' and 'Enough' are not to entwine.

                 Expressions are totally relative,
' Something ' assures 'Enough' to a being.
Same may turn 'Too Much' for other to give.
Impacts are sure to differ on same thing.

'Too Much' and 'Enough' aren't comparable -
To bring same effect, same stuff isn't able.

Premium MemberWays of Providence

The young are prone to blithely say, “Time’s on my side,”
but youth’s no promise one will long on Earth abide.

“He died too soon,” we say beside a young one’s grave
and ponder why God opted not his life to save.

Those who have not achieved all they desire in life
sometimes blame others~~even God~~for pain and strife.

Let’s flip the coin. Are we convinced that we deserve
all blessings we receive? Do we have that much nerve?

God’s ways are not our ways; we cannot think like Him,*
but we must trust he doesn’t merely act on whim.
          (*Isaiah 55:8)

His Word assures He loves us; this, we must believe
and have deep faith He’ll comfort us each time we grieve.

When we depart this shell of clay, we’ll clearly see
what we now view as through a glass dark as can be.”
(I Corin. 13:2, the Apostle Paul)

Premium MemberMotives to Confront

Selfish aims in kindness-guise… I dare to confront
As my soul welcomes challenges with hope
Triumphantly while thankful spirit does cope
Surmounting trials of grievous affront.

Targets midst secret deals… I strive to check
As my heart submits to divine truth’s worth
Exposing transgressions against fake mirth
Repenting for pardon that conquers wreck.

Carnal goals with their deceit… I ought to face
As my mind is illumined by God’s light
With assured vision for heavenly flight
Toward courage to walk tall, blest with grace.

Motives reflecting shame… I need to see
As my faith learns to perceive genuine glow
Against hypocrisy, pride of false show
Living in wondrous love with freedom glee.

Intents lurking as ghosts… I must not fear
As my Lord assures His presence of peace*
Governed by great wisdom that cannot cease
Securing me while others gladly cheer.

*Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It is ours: that ever-present space, even before it reaches us,
That subtle space, a place of respite, a moment of deep silence,
When you collapse onto a bed thinking of nothing, lost in the sweet void,
Or when you pour a glass of water from the tap, fascinated by the absence of thoughts,
That pure and gentle space, more precious than centuries of existence,
Just to scratch your neck while looking out the window at a bare branch.
That secret space, before they touch us with their tumult,
Assures us that when they do, they can never take everything away,
For there will always remain something untouched, an unspoken essence,
A sanctuary of peace where the soul retreats to find its balance,
A moment of eternity, hidden in the banality of daily existence,
Where we find ourselves, free from the burden of time and expectations.

Premium MemberBEAMING WITH HOPEFUL BLISS

Beaming with hopeful bliss
My heart faces challenges midst grace
As God assures triumph*
I claim against mocking doubt.

With varied tasks along different roles
My faith remains steadfast
Striving to fulfill assignments
I accept against attacking weariness.

Grateful for privilege to reach-out
My spirit persists, inspired by divine cheer
Sharing very best with zest
Prayerfully seeking for miracles
I expect against struggling commitment.

*2Corinthians 2:14 - Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

The Newspaper

I’m tired of the newspaper,
Defeated and ashamed,
For story after story features
He-who-can’t-be-named.

But even worse, the toadies
Who bow down and kiss his toes
Are gloating with their power
Which nobody will oppose.

We’re headed for disaster
Yet it’s difficult to care
Because the news assures us
That, already, we are there.

Our nation once was mighty,
Opportunity did shine,
But that’s the case no longer
Since nobody has a spine.

Divine mirth grips my heart
exuding gratitude reaching heaven’s throne
when wrapped with ecstatic triumph
persuaded that God is merciful
attending to my needs constantly...

radiating grace of loving kindness
marked with serene compassionate glow...

Gratefully worshipping the blessed Almighty

while reaching out to others
sharing peace along contentment bliss
driven by faith toward victory!

Premium MemberAngels

Sun goes down, darkness falls through the canopy,
lost in the maze of forest I run disoriented in fear.
A winged light flashes, I follow it to the safe pasture.
I know I am not so lost that angels don’t find me.

Monsoon storm pours heavy rains, the river swells up,
my boat capsizes, I can’t hold on to anything nearby.
Just before drowning I felt a hand hold mine, lift me up,
I know I am not so lost that angels don’t find me.

In trying phase of life, I lose a dear one and the sky falls,
my heart breaks, as the pain I keep concealed within,
I feel the feathery healing touch that let my life go on.
I know I am not so lost that angels don’t find me.

Though their seraphic flights are not in our view,
whenever we are adrift, veiled by the darkest of time,
their cherubic presence assures us we are not alone,
for we are not so lost that angels don’t find us.

By The Light Of The Moon

I sometimes sit awake at night
unsure what I should do,
swimming through my thoughts
yeah, all the worries of the day.
I guess I like the solitude,
although I’m feeling blue
there in the quiet moonlight
softly, God opens the way.

In dim of night he reassures,
a peace rests in the air.
The things I want to worry of,
they simply melt away,
replaced by visions of what most times
I am unaware.
It makes me want transcend time
and in that moment stay.

But soon it’s time for sleep,
in parting, God assures one thing -
that amidst all the toil and strife
he’ll be returning soon.
I drift off without care of what
the next day’s going bring,
blessed by what I felt and learned…
by the light of the moon.

The Weight Of Excuses

Strict parents taught her how to survive,
To navigate life with lies she loathed to tell.
She crafted a list, excuses for every misstep,
Because the truth felt like a risk she couldn’t take.

Sometimes, she wielded honesty—
A rare, deliberate shield against blame.

But since leaving home, she’s forgotten that art.
Her list, once a lifeline, now defends others’ absences.
“They must’ve had no choice,” she tells herself,
When someone she cherishes disappears without a word.

“They wanted to be there,” she assures,
When her first party in years
Ends with empty chairs where her friends should have been.

Excuses grow, stacking like pages in a book,
A fragile armor against the sting of abandonment.

Now, after daring to trust her heart,
She flips through her library of “what-ifs” and “maybes,”
Desperate to find an answer that fits her narrative.
A reason that soothes without truth,
That comforts without cutting deep.

The dusty pages offer no solace,
Only reflections of things that could have been.
Still, she clings to the search,
Afraid of what she might uncover
If she dares to stop looking.

Premium MemberOde to Autumn

swaying gently, with the wind, her mournful dance
leaves unconvinced of autumn’s breathless fingers
ruffled as shy feathers who tremble by chance
risking impulse who silence says still lingers
autumn tells news of crackling paths so perfect
paved with golds, oranges and reds to collect

puzzling dreams pile up in the spirit who sees
songs of grace, fall’s aching praise on dew drenched lawns
melodies rich with hope, betrothed to the trees
who wander across peaks, peace on quiet dawns
jolt of what it means to believe in autumn
calm painting silence like a foggy bottom

wars were fought, once upon a time, on her soil
she breathed in the aching sent of bloody souls
while the sunlight caught hearts with glittery foil
autumn whispered her right that always consoles
far and wide, I see the splendor of her voice
even though I love her, I haven’t any choice

she has gone to such trouble to seek me out
leaving my heart immersed in her misty quest
I’ll always love this season, without a doubt
she is the one who assures me I am blessed
without her quiet ways, her chorus of praise
I wouldn’t know the beauty that can still amaze

curiosity

I wonder why the air is not seen?
Is it too naughty or is it too clean?
I wonder why the water seems blue?
Is it still choosing which colour will do?
I wonder why I can't fly?
Did I do something wrong or did I lie?
I wonder and wonder where is my tail?
Mom assures me though it'll come soon by mail!
I wonder why the rainbow is bent?
Is it too old or is it too hight to mend!
Questions don't end do they?
And I'm not surprised curiosity ends with a why.

Premium MemberGift of Recovery

A black cloud envelops my sky
Threatening to rain down a torrent of pain
Oceans of commotion swirl in my brain
And I try to bandage the wounds in vain

I see only the receding vistas of light
And night prowling like a stealthy thief
The past chills the mind like hanging icicles
And I feel so heavy with frozen grief

I inch my way up like an ugly snail
My life is riddled with contradictions
Oh, I am waylaid, lost and beaten
From every corner, I meet only oppositions

Yet dreams break forth in my heart
Amidst darkness shines a light
A call to spirit to seek the gift of recovery
Transforming pain into strength and delight

I must break loose of all the tethers
Let my soul embrace all that is dear
From this cage, I must fly out
The sky beyond me lies blue and clear!

Even at moments when we feel,
God has forsaken us, time assures;
However bad things are, recovery is possible,
When God is there quelling all our fears.

Now I am on a journey of redemption
I tell myself- “Come out from this hell
Just start anew, nothing is beyond recovery
The dawn is near and all shall be well”

Premium MemberThe Truth Would Be Nice

Brand new Rolex watch!
A gift from her best friend
One day it just stops working
so she has to take it in
Watchmaker says, "Not worth it,
the flat Cyclops proves it's fake"
This news is so upsetting
She cries out, "For goodness' sake!"

Fighting first-date jitters
her boyfriend reads a poem
Adds, "You inspire me to write,"
Assures, "I wrote it on my own"
When she shares the poem with friends
several laugh, "You didn't know?"
"It's AI-generated!"
She screams, "AI AI No!"

When her boyfriend pops the question
she quickly answers, "Yes!"
Large diamond ring, so pretty
She is very much impressed
As she takes it for appraisal
she presents the ring with glee
When she asks about the 4Cs
Jeweler simply says, "CZ"

She wonders why in life
she can never catch a break
A Rolex watch, a lover's poem,
a diamond ring, all fake ...
Focusing on thoughts more mindful
reminds her of what real life means
Helping people is more important
than accumulating things
