Anyone can become a poet,
Drinking cognac for love,
Visit the Palace of Versailles,
Thinking about Lucille’s jewelry,
To remove her black blouse.
If he doesn’t meet his muse,
He will wander ten years in California,
In the plains of the Serengeti,
He will wander in the museums
will remove Lucille’s blouse
To meet her black gaze,
He will drink three glasses of liquor,
Anyone can become a poet.
Chacun, peut devenir un poète,
Boire du cognac par amour,
Visiter le château de Versailles,
Penser au bijoux de Lucille,
Pour ôter son chemisier noir.
S’il ne rencontre sa muse,
Il errera dix ans en Californie,
Dans les plaines du Serengeti,
Il errera dans les musées
ôtera le chemisier de Lucille
Pour croiser son regard noir,
Il boira trois verres de liqueur
Chacun, peut devenir un poète.
Tater's and beer
In another privileged day of excitement
Look at me, friend, a belch has the sense to appear
Like a spit in a tube, with a reason to rube, I know a foolish hickey to relent
Like a child of the stars, the poise of uncertainty
Has become ours, to let a swallow of many and might
Become the secret of misery no one is saying, publicly...?
What the hell rhymes with muscles and care, if I do it myself up right?
A mouse wanders by, daring us to catch itself in a trap
Wow, it says, the misery I notice and due, is a little vague...
Suppose the danger of me and reality is for any and all, a hosting crap
That seems to be taters and beers, having a good time at my imagination's rage?
Do not try to let anyone know your sorrow
For in the end, that person too
Is merely a being who will cook and consume your tears
Grieve all by yourself
And wipe away your tears at once
In the very place where you linger,
Everywhere you go,
How can you be so blind to the truth
That someone is quietly dancing just for you?
"Foolish humans!"
Put your faith in that sun
Does it not always, faithfully remain by your side?
"Do you still harbor doubts?"
The sun will never, ever betray you.
And when the sun finally sets,
The moon, just for you,
Blooms into a carrot flower
And gently bathes you in its light once more.
I've seen Chaplin in movie reels,
my laughter spilling out in peals,
but cats usually prowl on paws,
and the funniest thing I ever saw
was one on whitewall wheels.

deer bounded over the fence and slid down the slide
graceful in one huge leap – almost a glide
my dogs are barking disapprovingly
deer runs back up the slide coughing gleefully
you’ll let anyone on the slide says my husband Jim
This is cause for war, so now I won’t let him.
Don't let anyone walk over you — neither yourself nor the world,
no matter how low you may ever fall,
don't let the kid you once were
be ashamed of you if he stood before you!
Life is not the dream you dreamed as a child,
it will trample you and spit right in your face,
if it pushes you in the wrong direction,
there is no right one — all are missed stations!
It's your life and you must show it your teeth,
don't just drive through it in neutral,
take responsibility, earn respect,
no one has ever, nor will ever, bow to an amateur!
If you fall to your knees, do not let your spirit break,
raise your head and look toward the stars,
become the master of your life, whatever it may be,
don't just stand aside while life is passing by!

Never Condemn Anyone
When someone is down life tends
To humble oneself.
Red Flags cautioning you yet the
Enlightening signs were often ignored.
Make one's mirror your best friend, Be
Courageous with your boundaries.
Where did virtues go? Compassion,
Humility, Gentleness and Patience.
Never condemn anyone when their
Down and out.
You do not owe kindness who treats
You with contempt.
Teach people that there are consequences
For their actions towards you.
Never condemn anyone when their down
And tired.

People can try to encourage us
they can nudge and prod like concerned parents
But there comes a time when we realize
we are ultimately the creators of our own destiny
And that is a day of reckoning
Of crossing a bridge of no return
It’s when we realize that we are responsible
The “I” is the conductor, the maestro.
I am the only one who can motivate myself
to be the best person that I can be
It has to be a desire from deep within
strong enough to fire a drive on a daily basis
I have to survey all my options and decide
I’m the one to find a goal worthy of my passion
I need to learn the constellations and draw my map
I’m ultimately the ship captain of my journey

If anyone believes everything they hear they are very naive
but there are many things in this world people don’t believe.

Laughter is a great sound
It spreads happiness all around us
You are never to old or to young to laugh
It brings you some kind of magic
To our bodies and souls
And helps us reach our final goals
When your day becomes sad
Laughter is always a cure for something
Even when you think it will never help you
When your down and out
Laughter will always help you find your way
Laughter will always make you happier
And get you back in that right frame of mind
