         Bouncing off a trampoline
         Anton Dvorak fell on his head ~

             A ‘cancelled Czech’
             Poor Anton was dead

         Long ago, in the 1600’s
         Native Americans were not so financial...

             Sold Manhattan for 24 bucks
             A transaction they wish they could cancel

Don't put God second place in your life!

The most important thing to do,
Is seek the One that created you.
Jeremiah 17:5 says we are cursed,
Whenever we put any humans first.
A bunch of misfits that's who we are.
Worshiping Musicians and Movie Stars!
Let one of them die or be in trouble like you.
And what is the first thing people do?
All of a sudden they want you to pray.
To the same God we ignore night and day.
Shame on me, shame on you!
To treat our Creator the way we do.
The only One that died for me,
Was the second member of the Trinity.
What can any earthly humans do?
When death starts calling me or you.
The usual silly thing we say.
Everybody bow your heads and pray.
Those who deny who God is today,
Will share the fate of "Anton Lavey!"
Even though we ignore Him most days.
He extends forgiveness to us anyway.
That's why the smartest thing we all can do,
Is seek the Creator of me and you.

Don’t tell me the moon is shining;
show me the glint of light on broken glass.

Anton Chekhov

the thunderclap
   of breaking pane,
  frightening.
splintered shards -
     remains
of jagged lightning.
those tears I bleed…
  my fist is raw.
blackness crawls
    out of
the shattered hole.
  a fearsome
 flood of grinding rain
         insane.
     my knuckles sore
black and blue.
  i’ve kicked a metaphor -
the dog.     its bite
     worse than the storm.
the glass-eye moon
  reflects my mood,
outside the door,
         where i was rash.
those tears i bleed
on a handkerchief
      so I won’t forget
the glass…so I won’t forget
   the glass…

If you can just remember darling
That if I find your dance alarming,
I'll appear to be mean.
I'll be booed on the scene!
Craig Revel Horwood can be charming.

Motsi

I'm Motsi Mabuse. I love this show!
Watching the dances gives me a warm glow.
As yet, no front runner.
Each dance is a stunner!
Anybody can win! Who? I don't know!

Shirley

My role in Strictly is just my scene!
I'm known as " The Latin Queen "
I want to see some sass
With a bit of class.
And I love a romantic theme.

Anton

I'm the new judge, Anton Du Beke.
For you to keep your skills in check,
Just follow the swing
Of the " Ballroom King "
And you'll receive high praise on spec!

Premium Member Prescription In Poetry

"Medicine is my lawful wife, and literature is my mistress. When I get fed up with one, I spend the night with the other"

Anton Chekhov

A doctor, a poet and a singer,
he was all three talents rolled into one,
prescribed in poetry, advised by song,
his medical practice was so much fun!

recited famous poems as he talked,
his happy patients were of him in awe,
he danced to his songs as he walked,
yet his treatment without a single flaw!

he was most popular with little tots,
they giggled at funny faces he pulled,
amongst doctors there may be many sorts,
but I bet none like him that are so chilled!

diseases of body are many kinds,
treated with medicines of many types,
with a jovial doctor, mind unwinds,
to help body overcome its gripes!

"Medicine is my lawful wife, and literature is my mistress. When I get fed up with one, I spend the night with the other"
 ~ Anton Chekhov

She brightens the skies with her twinkling eyes
As they fall on the pages presented to her
Offering her the honor of a poetry prize
To cause her to smile with satisfaction as she will purr

Poetry and prose lift up like she can sometimes
With emotions so pure they bring conviction
Whether they’re about romance, history or crimes
Addressing the affections with nonfiction

Either by poetic vise or prose that materialize
In dreamy lives who welcome our pen and paper
We will find the inspiration to always idealize
The ones we discover behind a life filled vapor

If it be my wife or the love of my life
The novel, the noun, the verb and the pronoun
I find ways to work through all my strife
With the delight discovered when we write down

Our love for the words we read
As well as the wife we heed

Together, they are a masterpiece indeed!

~~~~~~~~~
Medicine, an in-pouring
Literature, poetry, our outpouring
In tandem setting into motion, vibration
Epitomising our being-ness by gentle resonation
Let then our medicine, oh hermit, be the love caress
Soft, healing touch, leaving us free of duress
Distilled and enriched within our heart
All souls one and none apart
We affirm in definitiveness
Bliss influx grips us in rapturousness
Mind body magnetised, one with the universe
Radiating beauteous love hues, as our creative verse
Music From the Soul
Traveling over an ocean to the
New world a symphony slowly grew and
Burst upon America as the New World,
Composer left an imprint quality new volume
Anton or Antonín or perhaps Anthony Dvorák.
Pen smoothing ink gliding over paper
Nine symphonies moved musical instruments
With voices soft loud high low,
Impression held eyes to see and ears verify
Ludwig van Beethoven work that’s loved.
Piano bouncing concerto
Orchestra looking at notes to keep up.
Was Russia to give this music?
For difficult key touch streams electrify
Mom loves Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninoff.
Symphony seems to flow towards stage,
Forty first put to paper in a minute
Seems to be unreal, who Heavenly gave this?
One glances back to see civilization for family
Oh my Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Edifying joy.
Premium Member Great Escape
Gurus religion and spiritual leaders encourage us to kindly
Reflect on meaning and soul for the sake of compassion
Existence before essence takes another stance on ethical life
As Sartre lies in his grave his message stands firm just the same
To heal confusion and balance dysfunction with a humble mind
Eternal infinite and impermanent uncertainties challenge
Serenity and the pedestal may threaten to be a garrotte
Calling for honesty and moderation in the face of defeat
Anton once stood at a crossroad with a noose round his neck
Pondered persecution death and the illusion of prison
Emblazoned by provocations of doubt he had a great escape
