Angering Poems

The Tramps - Thoughts

They run across the world in flight
Floating away without will
Dreamers flying in the night
Until the morning birds trill

The Invisible playing hide and seek
Till mind finds and chains
Once chained ideas leak
Flooding the mind as it rains

They spell the passer by to find
As they search hither and thither
Addiction placed upon the mind
Until so bound that it shall wither

Angering the waiting mind
By escaping the locks and keys
Leaving the despairing one behind
Shunning the minds pleas

The annoying game repeats again
In the Mind’s growing factory
Till then the thoughts mind shall retain
Till then the thoughts hide provokingly

Forgive Slightly Poor Services

Their food was clearly salty
But their drinks sweetly malty,
Their service rather faulty,
But they weren't at all haughty;
Yes, Owner's son was bossy,
Yet, had sounded not saucy,
In the end, meals not a wretch,
Since, we aren't likely to retch
And all we'd asked for they did fetch,
Sure making hands they did stretch

Therefore, let's not cruelly try
To their victorious looks fry
With either angering coughs
Or seeming The much Pissed - Off...

For another hoped Food Call.
When it's a much smart hall.

Solution To Air Pollution

Yes, we’ve got the message
But what of its passage?
From your factories vapor
That does not foster rapport:
To residents a mission
Cushioning the emission…

I fear rearing stalemate
And a final waiting bait.
I wonder the smart platform
You’ll set up to quell the storm.
Whom you choose as Delegate
They shall behind relegate…

To Angering Pollution
Bribery not solution

My Command To Poetry Soup

My Command to Poetry Soup:
Over Forty Thousand The Group:
Keep your records of my poems
Between ‘Motiveless’ and ‘With-Whims’;
In your cherishing software lodge,
Destroyers surface you just dodge…

Let them – yes – in secret files stay,
The Heavens and Earth to pass away.
Each had occurred in sharp flashes
And out of weightless mind dashes!

Verse-retrieving mind poorly shines,
Trust me, I’d call up but few lines;
So Angering and Demonic
Weakness Fighting The Harmonic
Thus, if lose I do a copy
You and I, rashly, The Sloppy;
The same: my Uploaded Short Stories,
Now forty-three, Number hurries!

No longer command: Make The Promise
Not A Halved Single shall I miss.

The West and the Guest

One obvious thing about The West
Is her inclination to Guest,
Rightly remembering to one test,
Because she needs to have The Best:
Originally her Plain Quest;
The Guest quite blending with The Rest
And ready to one set on Crest;
Later turn his Angering pest
Or by Guest thought ‘Beak’ that won’t nest…

The nicest thing about The West
Is her access to Heart and Chest,
Helping him terribly depressed
But sure makes the point addressed,
When A Guest is overly dressed!

About Uncompleted Building

I know about uncompleted building
A Terrible lot it could start wielding:
Perhaps, not in Far-Away Siberia
But, quote me, here in Lord God’s Nigeria!

A Receiving Camp for Smokers of Weed,
The Thickest Spirals in times of vile Need;
All The Depraved in Neighborhoods shielding,
Cries of torture as victims are pleading …

Get ready for the Truest Euphoria,
People down with The Falsest Malaria;
A Scenario for The Angering Deeds:
How dare you there recite The Apostles’ Creed?

Also, a venue for Helpful Latrine,
Unless Keep-Off Signals you meet Urine.

Defeated By a Woman

The Election result is a kill-joy
And has a man made a boy:
A result so blunt I’m trying ketamine;
That should my recovery determine
My BP should’ve been key issue
And its treatment a Toilet Tissue …

A woman has captured my capital
And what’s next if not Hospital?
The whole stuff taken to any doorstep
And claiming to have watched my every step …

My eyes have been fed humbling scores,
Another shutting of my political doors
An angering spread sheet on my lap
Underscoring my defeat by a gap.

And I swear animals what these portend,
Birds to laugh if I do them contend …

Right now A chairwoman Elect!
And they wouldn’t me select.
Already, I can see her sky-scraping head gear
And celebratory fanfare in high gear
Artificial eye-lashes one can glimpse from hundred meters
And music-powering generator with hundred litres …

And guess I’m emigrating to Dakar
Or to far-off fourth Africa
Or perhaps nearer Niamey …

No eye-lashes wearer will chair me.

To Start Smiling At President Biden

The feeling-cheated Igbo of Nigeria
Now judges her a worse malaria,
To keep celebrating Donald Trump
While bemoaning his angering dump …

But plans he to start smiling at Biden,
For one should often one’s options widen,
When at stake is life-transforming Crude oil,
With huge pipes channeling it to far-off soil.

The Fast-choking-with-anger Igbo
Might start an emergency Judo
For an ending of his humiliation,
That took off from the day of assimilation.

Now, I see a colder shoulder
To all Negotiation Tables,
A Stone-throwing kid trying a boulder,
And hangmen’s dropping of ropes for cables.

Already, it’s a kung fu- movie – watching people,
Disturbingly worshipped by their cripple.

Car Snatchers Bounce Back

‘Farewell’, we thought the Four bade,
To the angering crime of Raid,
And suddenly they vanished with Brown’s Motorcade,
Sprouting disappearing wings!
‘The Four Accursed Things!’
Off with a B-M-W of superb grade,
Its color, a firm promise never to fade,
And sleekness, a salute to whom had it made …
And into the matter stung cops said to wade,
Badly wanting their hands on them lay,
Plus God who had heard that ‘Farewell’ they’d said,
And wants B-M-W snatching sin dead.
Punitive whips must land their loudest whack
For car snatchers to not bounce back.

Mr Chinedum's Lord's Prayer

God, You re Supreme and Holy
Eventually admitted my non- brilliant enemy in a Poly.
You re the Giver of life and fame:
A riffraff neighbor of mine now has a name.
You re the Changer of circumstances;
It should be time-wasting mentioning the instances.
I want my own world to be The Sweetest;
I have yet to accept "It isn't The Bitterest...
I completely depend on you, God;
Though a sinner, from me keep away your rod.
I shall be counting time for the opening of my doors
like ill-bred kids nibbling at their half claws.
What I desire is enemy -angering elevation in life!
I had at my throat been staring, armed with a sharp knife.

Cemetery

Venue for brooding over Death’s mischief
While equipped with handkerchief…
Tears misty eyes shall unlock
Already by heavy heart unbolted
Over Death’s wasting clock
And angering daring of the Lord’s Promoted!

A masonry of slabs and The marbled
For impassioned messages, not garbled,
On her tombstones displaying Christ’s cross
That should curb the cries over a loss
But also Gardens of Angelic Roses
That the Door of Agony intermittently closes.

In Africa, far from the widespread
And in her folktales rarely read.
In The Western World, vastly stationed
And in her novels as much mentioned.
Dreary noises vomits in the wee hours
Which ears at close range seldom misheard:
A wondrous assertion of eerie powers
And Whistled Evil by Ghostly Bird.

A world scarier and insecure at midnights,
As the Dead socialize and commercialize,
No longer under pressure to tighten their lips;
Their life- terminating fights have for the withdrawn lights
And hapless visiting humans paralyze
With their deadening whips.
Cemetery continues to entertain bones
From tents and thrones.

PEACE
Peace, I awoke and flung the truce
Peace, Once I sat engaged and ordering
'PEACE!' I INSIST, 'Yes PEACE!'
I heard a War making, loud angering
PEACE
Peace, I awoke and flung the truce
My passion is the pacifist process
Much I marveled the splendid break
Freedom - freedom - freedom!
Peace, And the inch was singing I fling
Peace, I felt obliged to to admire the offspring
PEACE
I awoke and flung the truce
Eagerly I looked for the peacetime
The peaceful peacemaking ping
PEACE
I awoke and flung the truce harboring love and peace
Peace wonderful purposeful peace
PEACE WONDERFUL PURPOSEFUL PEACE-

It Is All About the Hair

first meeting
by sight has
since blinded
me for she
had a towel
wrapped as
if African style
or getting out
of the shower

(to note her
face was pure
no makeup
nor blemish
of an almost
copper toned
color but her
eyes nose and

lips) now common
place yet still
unbecoming
for it was
IT was
her hair
all along like
Medusa's snakes

they were the ones
that took take and
turned me into stone
so i only could look
on and watch her
biblically
slither
with

no hiss as puff
came out an afro
purple and then
to tease for me
now to send of
my harrowing
experience
braids

surely the devil's made
from first a colorful
array of a rainbow
made me want to
find gold but
illusion soon
turned red
as if

angering the gods
adamlike i hid
then arose to
answered by
Diosa's dawn
all was gone
not bald but
cleanly

shorn and
as wrath had
passed and living
i just have passed the
test of lasting beyond the
siren's shores tied to a mast
seeing the unseen yet trying to
best tell that the torture and pain

mum
can
i go
on
that
ride
again
long drawn out pleaseeeeese

The Mentor

Empowering me with knowledge,
Angering me with challenges,
Motivating me and inspiring me,
Creating trust and building awareness,
Given by a mentor,
Who battled with me my fears.

All i had to do was change my mind,
Change my thoughts,
I am fearless now,
With the possibilities of me awakenings.

Perception is funny,
Perception seems strange,
We only see a one sided truth,
Until the mentor comes along.

Take me to your leader,
Show me all your strength,
Grow with me and watch me transform,
So i can fly away and be so strong on my own.
