With a gentle hand, He held mine,
Guiding me through the night,
Assuring me that I would find the light,
A perpetual light that pierces through burgeoning darkness.
We journeyed through the meadow,
With a gentle hand, He held mine,
Dispersing the gnawing shadows,
Telling me to awaken the dying hope.
We sojourned across the sea,
The intermittent turbulence frightened me.
With a gentle hand, He held mine,
Calming my fearful heart,
Telling me to see beyond the tempest.
We journeyed through the forest,
I was distraught;
There was no place to lay my head.
With a gentle hand, He held mine,
Telling me to learn resilience from the trees,
Admonishing me to seek knowledge from their silence.
We travelled across the desert,
I was parched and worn out,
Blazed by the sun.
With a gentle hand, He held mine,
Telling me that the sun would soon retreat to its chamber,
And the moon would open the door to mysteries that herald a new beginning.

averse to noise
people talking loudly
whilst yet accepting what is
we make peace with incongruity
recognising the looming gap
between desire and reality
yawn and then move on
averse to religious dogma
we wonder at the insecurity
devout brandishing their gods
making conversion a life mission
so what it is a pastime after all
although harmful if we reflect
spreading virus of delusion
averse to people pushing
in queues and on the road
aggressive me-first approach
these animals in human disguise
we look at as though it’s a test
though we’re trampled upon
we nod in understanding
averse to not being averse
we review our consciousness
which has shifted into passivity
owing to recognition life’s a dream
but to make this dream beautiful
surely we too must spread love
gently admonishing the crass

Beware of my building tension might
driving destructive and perilous fight
or causing anxious, grievous fright
toward shameful frustrating flight.
Be braced against my building tension height
toppling solid relationships plight
shaking fellowships held tight
as I reveal conflicts in full sight.
Behold my building tension blight
starting as solidifying delight
then lurking hypocritically right
putting doubts midst skepticism sprite.
Be warned; my building tension blocks light
I'm PRIDE, treating meekness as weak and trite
breaking you down with my selfishness bite...
choose me; together, reconciliation we smite.
Believe my building tension with faith's insight
admonishing the prudent along negotiations aright
keep trusting God* for His wisdom, clearly bright
granting triumphant peace day and night.
*Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.

There is a darkness,
loose in the land
twisting and turning
in vicious hands.
Violations of innocence,
truth concealed,
under shadows of vanity.
In time
revealed.
There is a darkness,
a challenge in every prayer
attacking a weakened vessel,
swiftly sent from open air.
As red and blue lights flashing
danger signals
bright
Troubled hearts admonishing,
their lives may not be right
We work to build the kingdom
of excellence on Earth,
waging war with darkness,
so the lost can have rebirth.
And in each heart a story
of hardship overcome,
their journey to the brightness,
God’s mercy to someone.
There’s glory in the promise,
that one lost sheep is found,
to harness greater darkness
with Godliness
profound.
As fishers of the soul
cast nets where catch is many.
There was a darkness in some lives.
Now,
there isn’t any.

Raging against tomorrow
blaming yesterday
Running in place—admonishing grace
denial on display
Cursing the past indentured
the future waits in vain
No place to hide—the truth inside
the moment left unnamed

If you're William, then you're Billy.
The one I knew was damned silly
Sick but climbing the hilly
Hard steel, if you sought his Lily
But soon wasting the same Lily;
Orders obeyed willy-nilly...
Do you like to dilly dally?
Still your acts with his must tally:
He wouldn't be facing Nelly
And you watching fancied Nelly
Or he admonishing Kelly
And you lying on your belly!

Do you have a secret
that’s never been told
Deeply within you
like long buried gold
Do you keep your own counsel
for no one to hear
While staying intrepid
admonishing fear
Do you treasure those moments
in spite of the time
As words born an orphan
adopted in rhyme
That one treasured secret
alive roaming free
Transcending the silence
—of what’s yet to be

I am continuously by many hated
My mother alone has compensated
Soothing words are by her stated
A feeling of happiness is created
She will warm me up by kindness
And advice me to practice calmness
She will tell the greatness of fairness
Admonishing me to follow carefulness
When I recollect the past and feel
She will for me before God kneel
Asking the Almighty to soon heal
My sorrow making my will steel !
Always she will give something to eat
Then only her act is for her complete
She will encourage me to compete
And accept in case comes defeat !
My sorrow is to her a sad occurrence
For me she will pray to act as a defense
Her love is a fence giving me confidence
She is a boon given to me by providence.!

Regret a distant calling card
admonishing my name
Vacant in my recollection
