Addressed before End of the System

Dear Me,
Back from 100th century
here's a secret
you'll never reget
You stay strong
survive the tribulation
it won't take long
Until fulfillment of revelation
Jehovah prepared
A kingdom and army
Don't be scared
He rewards our loyalty
This is a preview
Of what will be
vision for few
only eyes of faith can see
Perfect Body
Perfect Life
Jehovah loves me
and my wife
together with my kids
we sing and praise
doing just good deeds
just like the old days
looking back to those sacrifices
they are really worthwhile
to the problems of any sizes
with Jah, we faced them with a smile

Your Smiles Are Tears Addressed

For every shown interest,
The withdrawn is impressed:
The guy badly suppressed,
His once high feelings repressed...

Your smiles are tears addressed
And spotted frowns redressed:
Unseen wounds cleaned and dressed,
Rumpled face stretched and pressed.

For every shown interest,
Many restive youths rest;
As many soon their best;
You'd one ask "Be my guest!"

In men you show interest,
In them you block protest...

Addressed To Me

Do not doubt yourself
As you have come this far
There is a reason behind all of it
Do not be sceptical
As you know yourself
There is so much maturity to be gained
Do not be overwhelmed with feelings
As you know well your worth
There is a build up of momentum
Smile, my boo

It took me ages to get to you
It took me a life time to get to know you
And finally I have arrived
It took me longer that expected
It took guts to finally tell you how I feel
And finally I am all yours
Forever and ever

Do not doubt my love for you
As you know my love runs deep
There is enough love for both of us
Do not be unquestionable
As you know questions are there to be answered
There is so much love for you
Do not resist my loyalty
As you know we belong together
There is a marriage proposal to be accepted
A wife I could have

Addressed

With email and texting replacing the mail
And bills paid online or by phone,
There’s something I wonder about and I know
This dilemma is not mine alone.

I’m stuck with a surplus – perhaps you are, too,
Of labels which list my address;
They all come from charities, many of which
I give nothing to, if I confess.

Yet still they arrive, bearing flowers or flags
Or puppies or snowmen or hearts.
I should throw them away but hang onto them – why?
‘Cause I’m lacking in discarding smarts.

For maybe I’ll need them – you never can tell –
Although if you’d look at the pile,
You’d realize they’ll surely outlast me by years
So it’s time for that circular file.

The future’s a question mark, that much we know
But if we can just follow the trend,
We’ll arrive at a point when I’m certain we’ll see
Free address labels come to an end.

Addressed To the Muses

Give me my pen and feed my heart with muse,
And I shall write until the night transforms
Into the morning, when the earth imbues
And quakes with spirits of the sleeping worms.
I’ll glean as gleans a reaper golden grain
Sweet dreams, which with some mystic magic swell
And set my spirit and my burdened brain
Free from the fleshy temples of their cell.
My quill would spill sweet words as if it’s dew
Or some ambrosial nectar from a fount
In Heaven’s reign. My tongue shall throb anew
With gilded glory. Evermore I’ll mount
Into the cloudless climes of deep midníght
Just give me paper and the will to write!

Moment Addressed To Mom

I did not call you to talk
Foolish
Mind-numbing
Speaking of nothing
I have not called for the deafening
Silence
I always hear from you
Even when your mouth is open
And sounds are coming out
I called for all the
Moments
You made me cry
For the soul you forced awry
I’ve called for me
I’ve called to yell
To fight
To cry
To scream
To move past those
Moments
Let go and move on
Without your
Horrendous
Weight
Upon me
I’ve called about the lies
Deceit and whys
Life is too short
I’ve called to say
Goodbye
I’ve called simply
To hang up
Walk away
And
Fly

Addressed To Heavens Gates

I send you a christmas poem written in words of rhyme
Sending it rush delivery hoping it reaches you in time
The stamp is are wedding photo addressed to heavens gates
Sent to my darling husband from your life time mate
I have the tree up now and how beautiful it is to see
Just like days gone by when their was Christmas with you and me
Ornaments i have made i have put here and there
A pretty bowl for candies for family and friends to share
Outside the lights are blue differant from last years white
They really still look beautiful just their not so bright
Santa and Mrs clause sit beside the fireplace
Still putting a smile on every child's face
The boys are older now so for santa they don't believe
Still they get excited when they see the gifts under the tree
I like to watch Christmas shows curled under a blanket i sit
Or listen to Christmas songs with a candle lit
So darling i will close for now really not much more to say
Just remember i am thinking of you now and Christmas day
