June Bug, do you remember me?
Understand, I'm older now, you see.
No longer do I visit Grandpa with my brothers.
Every fourth of July, you too, came with many others.
Both of us came to play - beneath the fireworks display.
United again, I recall you never flew so well.
Give us another fourth, and we will give 'em hell.

America dawn

A new chapter in the country history now begins
Making America Great Again done through unity
Ending the political division that separate people
Republicans and Democrats rebuilding the dream
It is built on the founding fathers' vision for all
Choosing to be part of this new shared vision
American citizens sharing and living that dream

Dust down the founders declaration once again
Awaken the American Dream with your strength
When you stand together, you will stand united
Now, are you ready for the dawn of your dream

Independence

In search of freedom, many braved the high seas,
Needing to flee the chains of their home countries.
Desiring a fresh start in a far-off land;
Educating their children to understand.
Plymouth, Jamestown, Hampton, and other such sites;
Enduring hardships, attacks, and other fights.
Now viewing self-rule, like Paine, as Common Sense;
Declaring to England their independence.
Early clashes at Lexington and Concord;
Not shrinking from gunfights or edge of a sword.
Claiming patriots’ victory at Yorktown;
Earning a U.S. republic, not a crown.

P-ursuit of important freedom
E-vidently shows our being worthy;
N-ever will we lose our honor,
D-efending with highest dignity.
E-veryone wants to rise,
N-ever to fall what may come;

Transformation

C City streets are mild; the wheels necessary
O Overwhelmed by the Virus, Wuhan they say
V Very likely made in a high-tech laboratory
I India was strong-armed into selling its "cure"
D Donald Trump wants India's trial drug

P President Trump made threats against South Asians
E Everyone knows the numbers are huge in India
A Any concern for India's national security interest stemming
C Covid-19 deaths in its homeland, vetoed by Dictator T
E Empires have fallen in war or Roman vice, now by Virus

**NOTE: The drug India makes is CHOLROQUINE and Trump demanded India not stop exporting the unproven drug, while Indians seem to be responding well to it.

63 and Beyond

Gained in 1957 our Independence.
Hailed by all as the Black Star, the gateway and leader to Africa's independence.
At the turn of this decade, are we truly independent?
Not yet politically, economically, and socially truly independent?
All the toil and blood of our fathers were they in vain?

God, You did indeed bless our homeland, intended her to be great and strong.
Humility truly has made us boldless and fearful
All we have is pseudo-peace: no good name worthy of upholding and defending.
No longer does honesty reign in this nation, untruth of all kinds is the order of the day.
All of our strengths and our hearts we serve Ghana not but our selfish interests.

God invigorate us to defend our heritage
Humility kindly substitute with hard work, entrench honesty and please as jara add punctuality.
And help us to resist our self-serving individualistic nature.
Nurture unto to us leaders with the state’s prosperity truly in their hearts.
And with all our will and might we shall follow them, playing our best part, forevermore.

Juneteenth

June...back in nineteen-fifty eight, just sixty years ago,

Unknown to me, nine hundred miles away in the mid-South,

Never did I think of anything that would foreshadow...

Equal rights for me...denied to people of black color.

The waiting rooms and restrooms, solely marked as black or white:

Extremes prevailed with front and back seats taken on a bus;

Enjoying drinks from water fountains...marked, which one was right.

Nothing at home prepared me for those bigotries and 'hates'

That shocked me then, just newly married, moving with my spouse.

How could this be...in this, our land of free...United States?

Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day, is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans throughout the former Confederacy of the southern United States. U.N.T.I.E.D.

Under the influence: propaganda
Never Trumpers ‘think’, they’re making a stand
Ignorance fed by social media
Timing, emotions, have kept people mad
Each of us ‘knowing’ the other is wrong
Deceived: are our thoughts; they’ve already won

Sadly we’re fighting, Dividing our strength
Talking in turn: Is it, too much to ask
Accepting another, parties concerns
Trading ideas: For ideals to stand
Establishment flaws; hungry for power
Strong politicians: They, haven't yet won

Sentiments reeling and making us weak
Two hundred years, lost; if taken, in vain
Remember our pledge, Allegiance to speak
One nation, one God, One reason remains
No man is better, Not color nor creed
Give unto others, and stand up, as one

Philippine Independence Day

P-hilippine Independence Day
H-ad been proclaimed twelfth of June;
I-t was the year eighteen ninety-eight,
L-iberation lives neath the moon.
I-t was the freedom from foreign control,
P-romise of reform was made;
P-eace process in the country
I-ced the war as the smoke did fade.
N-ation's Independence Day was initiated by Emilio Aguinaldo;
E-nding the three hundread years of Spanish rule, the Filipino flag began to glow.

I-ndependence day of the Philippines
N-ever departs from our mind;
D-ramatic growth of nationalism
E-manates to brightly shine.
P-hilippine Independence Day
E-xplains the Filipino's valor;
N-ever will he remain slave,
D-enying any alien conqueror.
E-very man of the world
N-eeds to be freed from soul colonizer;
C-hrist has built His Church,
E-ach one is ordered to enter.

D-on't waste the given chance,
A-sk for the righteous way;
Y-es, it's more important than Philippine Independence Day.

Passionate Everyday

Valentine is a day of love
Whereby couples renew their vows
But do you really have to wait for this day
To really be ensured that you're loved

Let there be a twist
I decided to be in a relationship with my passions
Whereby we exchange vows everyday
I'm sure that my heart is safe there
Striving towards the road of success together
Hand unto hand we shame the haters

A best friend who remains forever by my side
Not once in the sunlight will it disappoint me
Nor turn it's back on me when the world does

My passions
The reason I walk head held so high like a giraffe
The reason I'm so egoistic like a hungry lion
The reason I hunt endless like a leopard
