Neither adequate experience nor knowledge
Attention to detail is essential to faith
Individuality bows to the group
Vanity should be dismissed
Engage and embrace God
Futility is the fruit of deception
Authority must have its foundation
Intimacy with God is central and essential
Time must be given to the object of our faith
Holiness is the fruit of true faith in Christ
Juicy and sweet, these berries delight,
Unique flavor with a hint of almond's bite.
Native to North America's land,
Eaten fresh or dried, both are grand.
Baked into pies or made into jam,
Enjoyed in wines, a treat for the fam.
Rosy bronze leaves in spring's embrace,
Rich in nutrients, a healthful grace.
Indigenous peoples cherished them so,
Essential vitamins they bestow.
Saskatoon berries, nature's gift we know.

Push my passion buttons
Inside feel like indigo mixed with
Lavender
Love
Onyx sky not as bright as
We are when we climb it
Tender kisses like fruit
All
Luxurious and
Kinetic
Coconuts falling large and whole
On my way to gather like gold
Calling my name as I love them so
Only to tame adult drink so cold
Needing the hull to make a bra
Understanding I am a bronze star
Tropical queen who sings in bar
Sing with me, have fun dear heart.
As crisp or tart, she favors my cookbooks
Perfect dessert whether October or June
Pumpkin's cousin, come autumn is overlooked
Luckily, any month, week or afternoon
Every season, the sweet apple fills my spoon

*Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Also good for vitamin C

Given its flavour and healing quality's

Sensual Interludes mapping my lover's chest
Taking in the essence of his exuberant passion suggest
Ravishing moments will be filled with sentimental embrace
Angelic radiance will never leave my face's trace
Weighing in his love for me on a lover's scale measuring to a
level of prevail
Borrowing wisdom from my grandmother's advice to keep
love strong; un-laced
Excited at the mere suggestion of his commitment to live
harmonious in one space
Reiterated vows of heavenly interface
Reaching our golden years in love without an intermission
of division
Yields an external love with respect and sweet submission.
Blind as a bat they used to say as she rode her bike this way and that. I did
Love her thick coke bottle glasses and the way she hunched her back when she
Incited to drive down a one lane street with her head up and her eyes fixed.
No one could have guessed that she was really biking it by memory, as they
Drove by her, they would honk and say " get out of the street" ....
A lady with very little money, five children and a knapsack full of apples for
Snacks. She would drive to school at recess and dole out the fruit to her kids.
Annabelle Kor was her name and she was my mother, this I say with pride.
Born a survivor, who had survived the Jewish camps , she knew how to live free
Answer to none but God, she would tell us as they sent her strange looks
Truth be told I wouldn't have wanted any other mother, she was my hero...

Sun-ripe strawberries oh so sweet
Tempting swollen fruit to eat
Red berries in dish of cool ice-cream
Awesome moment a summer dream
Wonderful taste lingers on tongue
Beloved by all of us old and young
Each afternoon a strawberry wish
Ruby rhapsody in my dish
Remembering when I was very young
Idyllic memories of summer sun
Each lick of my spoon was sheer delight
So much enjoyed each swallow and bite.

Summer’s sweetest natural dessert
Presented itself to me in the form of a
Large seeded watermelon that
I found by chance at a local food stand.
Thrilled was I to see such a perfect specimen!
Wide, round, and green,
It had a yellowish underside and those “bee stings”
Desired by people who search for the tastiest melons
Every year when that marvelous fruit is in season.
On my arrival home, I stumbled and dropped that luscious melon.
Pulp of red juiciness splattered all over the driveway -
Effectively destroying the whole thing as it went KER-SPLAT,
Never to be enjoyed by my expected dinner guests that evening!
