TREMBLES and THRILLS Was it love that spelled when I caught a glimpse of him on a starless night? Flame of passion rise Frozen hearts thawed, now aflame When loving captures Hugging limbs of two entwined They, naked or clothed Their entranced display absorbed Bare or askew, loves spoken Of sweet spring night dream, a bed of blooms reach their peak, virginal petals under a bank of dawn clouds tickled, blushes rosy reds... Falling into wake, I stirred to feel summer breaths stroking my cold cheeks. I ask myself, was the dream I have, instantly came true? Minutes passed, we stood warm drops from sudden showers rolled upon our curves as heat surfaces from us; our bodies dancing again... Breaking morning rules we lie spooned for two more hours heartbeats sang refrains. Our song broken by soft rain, we dressed to begin our day. ________________________________________ 9:52 pm, November 01, 2015

God's Messenger

                                      Will always treasure
                             White silken plumes gentles touch
                                      Take upon oneself
                               Day by day lifeblood’s beacon
                                  Doves ministering spirit

Sunday Drive

a long Sunday drive
south on a winding beach road
to find my poem
I listen for profound words
from a knowing wind and sea

Flame Theatre

Dancing candle flames, the nights flickering shadows, whirl about and play. They dance me to sleep at night and sleep their sleep, in the day.

Darkest poorest land
Where power and pride blinds men
sickness dwells and steal
Where is that candle that lights?
A star to spring crumb of life...

take one drop of rain
multiply it; speculate,
all that emotion
a little that gives so much,
if only that it was love.

You’re my symphony
the blood that runs through my veins,
ageless and timeless
like the metamorphic Rose
you came to dwell in my life!

Capturing Inspiration

emotions swirling joy, love, anger, hope and fear inspiration sparks effortlessly we express cathartic rewards we reap words are found, not forced ebbing and flowing like waves capture them quickly when inspiration beckons or they’ll gently slip away

God Is A Very Loving God - The Tanka Style

~God Is A Very Loving God~ (Double Tanka) Gods a loving God Never lose trust, faith in Him He's always with you Do not lose focus through life Isn't easy but keep hope Keep your faith in God Don't doubt 'cause He can help you Gods a loving God Pray, He'll rescue you each time Smile 'cause with God we can't lose. Dorian Petersen Potter aka ladydp2000 copyright@2011
January.30.2017 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) -“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) - Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer Romans 12: 12 ( NIV ) -The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV ) “Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” - Mark Twain- ~Author's Notes: The " Tanka " is a Japanese poetry form or style.

tanka revolution

Working class people
Do not trust socialist intellectuals
Don´t get lured by them
They are upper middle class people
Who want to run your revolution.

Light upon the Path

Sealed in walls of ice
My heart locked; frozen frail,
Ragged shardsduk-taped
After a swift fall from grace
Grim view of my shackled fate

Opening my mind
In order to see clearly
Amending time lost
Moving forward yet refrained
Seeking a promising path

Lily's, daisies, rose's,
Stoping to sniff as they bloom
Staring at the stars
Burning like a tigers eyes
Meek child I am no longer

Reach for heaven
To chase inner most desires
Stroking fire within
Aspiring to heights untold
Letting inner light shine o

(I connected this to "the great flower of life" in a perspective of personal growth from a troubled child to a positive and driven young adult inspired toward achieving greater things)

In the midst of this downpour
Thought I was getting used to
Be forayed in this crusade
Till that warmth touches my soul
