Haiku for This Crazy Storm I Was Just In

I was in the car,
swallowed up by pouring rain,
and all Hail broke loose.

five haiku

Such a disaster
Waking up in the morning
Shamelessly white

 Self- tanning cream
The pride of looking sporty
The mirror pulls face

Deep philosophy
The poet is in deep water
Saved by low tide

One types of success
When your work brings happiness
And not endless doubt

The loser a man
Who knows he`s incompetent
Yet accuse others

The news I read
Been the same for fifty years
War and film stars

Falling Star

A moment at night
Something fall outside the door
Sparkling gem so bright

Pick up a shovel
Whilst starting to melt soil
Held it on my hand

Can't utter a word
Vibrant hue and glow persists
Turn to diamond.

In Comma

Peaceful and relax
At rest but traverse freely
Altered consciousness

Will to access all
Suddenly achieve by thoughts
Radiating oneness

Empathy ignites
As parameters extend
Embrace love without.

Curl of smoky streaks
Joss stick messages;
Heaven bound

Temple visit
Feast day moments;
Talk to the dead

Bright Hill Temple
Where rites bring peace;
Family gathering

Temple verandah,
Spacious prayer courtyard;
Surreal this heaven

Closed eyes salute
An inner realm calls;
Spiritual insight

Here we gather
Offer our earthly harvests;
Poignant celebration

Briefly we come
Ply food offerings;
Gratitude tells

Columbarium niche
Earthly ashes laid;
Fond remembrance

All Souls Day
By parents' niche tomb;
Familiar voices speak

Echoes in hallway
Death talks in silence;
Life feels message

Poise in strange voice
Talking in my head;
Ecstatic insight

Brief is our time here
In-between eternities;
Grief comes too late

Songbirds sing
A rustic hymn;
Salute the dead

Flowers sparkle bright
Crimson, violet, orange hues;
Bourgainvillea vines

Hurl of midday sun
Casting odd silhouettes;
Deserted columbarium

they sentenced me to
pay off your credit cards and
back tax ring that bell

they sentenced me to
be subjected to grumpy
not so special day

they sentenced me to
wish I didn't waste my time
trying to be sweet

they sentenced me to
wonder about your motives
it feels so phony

they sentenced me to
first take back my heart and then
protect it from you

Early rising
Sparkling skies;
Sublime moment

Dearest and I
Get ready;
Tour group assemble

Tour coach speeding
Jerky vibes;
Highway pulsations

Chinese lady guide
Delivers tour highlights;
Foreign inspiration

Off we go
Profound talk;
Morning invocation

Lijiang Expressions
A theme park act;
Chinese folk drama

Captive tour audience;
Lijiang story

Vast mountain range
Snow-capped peaks;
Silence speaks loud

Supersonic boom
Speech echoes wonder;
Our ears feel blast

Overpowering sonic
Lady tour guide drenches;
Too high decibels

So many words
Stressed and jarring;
Blazing this mountain road

Joy lives here
Spring lingers;
Awesome mountain side

This old village
By this mountain;
Agrarian dialect

Cotton candy clouds
Breeze the peaks;
Touch of heaven

Ancient village
Historical tribal culture;
Displaced by modernity

Theme park sojourn
By mountain side;
Photo snapshot collection
