With Eyes Closed

When something we’re doing doesn’t seem right, with our eyes closed, we look for an insight. It isn’t something obvious we feel, it’s more like a sense that it isn’t real. There’s something amiss; it could turn out wrong. Something is missing or doesn’t belong. In our process have we left something out? Maybe we need is to try a new route. It’s not what we’re doing, it’s why it’s done. If intent was wrong, it must be undone. Soulfully we ask just what should we do? To each of our minds the answer came through. If we let love flow, we can clear the air. With our new insight, we both will be fair.

I agree, Paula. That thing we called intuition is the spirit inside of each of us trying to guide us and make our lives more meaningful. Thanks for the rhyming encouragement. Spend part of your day letting us know what you have to say. :-) Bill

A little of introspection can easily bring the reason to show where we have gone wrong. It might also show us the right route to reach our destination. A meaningful and well composed sonnet, dear friend Bill !

Thank you, Valsa, for your mindful comment on this Sonnet. A situation can look very different if we slow down and find our center and reflect upon the source of the problem. We must be willing to see through the eyes of the other person to truly understand where they're coming from. In doing that we often find the fault in our own position. Smiles ~ Blessings my dear friend Valsa.

We live and learn, and thus become more wise and it is through our own mistakes that we sometimes make along the way that we gain wisdom and that will never stop , we simply now understand one another better. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Why is this so difficult to understand "Maybe we need is to try a new route." - it is wisdom.

Your 3 stanzas reminded me of my poem today, from Acts 5: Ananais & Sapphira - slain for lyingvtompeter & thus, to God (?). The final lines is good advice for all relationships, especially two by two. ThanX Coach Bill

when love enters the situation, the way becomes clear. With love, insight prevails and conflicts are diminished. A profound sonnet, dearest Bill. I particularly liked the line: soulfully we ask just what should we do.... you're gifted

indeed when a feeling seems surreal Bill there is usually something strange going on, a sensory overload perhaps or just lost in the moment, the latter is probably more likely to be good, a very interesting Sonnet, I do like the way you approach the situation, cheers David

So true-- It isn’t something obvious we feel, it’s more like a sense that it isn’t real. We know it by intuition--I like the advice in ending lines, Bill.

Thanks, Vijay. It's tough when you feel out of sync with someone you love, and it ends up growing if you don't deal with it from a place of Love. Have a great week my friend! Bill
