Quotes about Questioning god (30 quotes)

Why do I think that I need to know why? Will the answer justify what I do? Just thinking about it brings on a sigh. Thoughts in my mind are beginning to brew. To understand must at least be a part. Lack of faith and trust must play a small role. These three ideals at least give me a start. Am I just falling for what I’ve been told? To not ask why, I must become aware. The source of control comes from the unknown. The events of life I must learn to bare, All needs are met by the seeds that were sown. I need not know why, if I do my best. For a bird to fly, he must leave the nest.

Hi Bill. Good Morning. Why is such a big word. We all ask of it but sometimes we never know or find the answer. There are times I don't even ask why I just carry on. This entry Bill is one that should be read out loud with emphasis and feeling. Thank you for sharing your skilled talent. Have a beautiful morning and day. May it show all things good for you and Sara. Peace and Blessings always. (smile)

Sometimes when I read my poetry to Sara (all my emotions going wild), Sara says, the same thing you just said, "you should read them out loud, they're better with your emphasis." the voice thing that reads them doesn't sound natural to me, so I just write them. Thanks for the encouraging words, Lisa. Your kindness is always a blessing to us. Smiles ~ Blessings my dear friend. Bill & Sara

you've pondered an almost universal question. We all feel compelled to need to know why. But in so many matters, the why is a mystery. I find, like you said, that I just need to let go of my need to know...for that comes from my ego. An outstanding and wise sonnet, dear Hubby. Hugs from me to you.

Hope I’m not rubbing off on you Bill, (why) is my middle name, so much in this life and beyond is taken for granted, or (what we’ve been told) I sometimes wish I could fit into that box, but alas I cannot, we are a most peculiar species that one could lose their faith in very easily, at least your faith is strong and evident in your poetry, nice soul searching sonnet, cheers David

I admire you and have been much like you most of my life, David. I had a burning desire to understand why everything was as it was, my choice was from my understanding, I wouldn't want to diminish the choice that anyone else makes. Life is a process, and the answers to many questions, we will probably never know while in this physical existence. Science is all about what and why. Always good to hear another opinion on things unknown, my friend. You help me to go deeper to find my own truth. Bill

We are allowed to ask God why. But I like that you say if you do your best you don't have to ask why bit simply accept life as it is. An inquisitive poem and I like it.

Just writing how I see things and hope it will help others to considered options that life gives us, my friend. Thanks for the visit and comments, Karen. Always nice to hear from you. Bill
