An elephant fell out of bed And got a huge bruise on his head He climbed back in his bunk Then rubbed his aching trunk… Best sleep in the low bunk instead! 08-25-17

Jan, thanks for being here!!! Elephants used to be somewhat cool (although I could never understand them), but our elephant in chief has changed all that.

ha ha ha he sure is a Dumbo - I bet folks wish he WAS pushed out from the top bunk and couldn't crawl back up the ladder! I hadn't thought of a political slant to my poem and now you have made me giggle:-) hugs jan xx

I woke up with the silly lines in my head and finished the poem this afternoon. I have so many scraps of paper under my laptop as I have to get my ideas written down as soon as I think of them otherwise they are gone:-) Hugs jan xx

- I have always had sympathy for Dumbo the elephant, Jan - It's absolutely true ... I almost get tears in my eyes :) - ... he's always been bullied ... he's the sweetest elephant of the worth !!! :) - I agree with Tim :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

I woke up with the three longer lines in my head for some odd reason there is no pic I can find of an elephant on the top bunk but you know the way my brain works lol:-) hugs jan xx
