Voice - Potd

Voice Through a vast jumbled valley of cacophony's roar One voice In tones of soprano, alto, tenor and bass Speaks a universal epiphany In a rumbling Resonate Reverberation symphony, Neither also or bass, A quest for agreement of the heart's dialect Through a maze of unspoken speech A cluster of sighs Harmonious chorus of shared joy Singular groaning lament of empathy Echoes of gossamer laughter Murmurs of grief's intonation Piercing vents of apprehension Quivering titters under the breath Shadow symphony of breathing From the four winds - four seasons - The tongue of humanity Exhales in unison a plea Reaching From dawn's first breath in dappled divinity To time's conclusion into the immortal voce sotto. 4-21-23 Contest: V Word Challenge Sponsor: Constance LaFrance

My family goes to the As games, Sam.for the past 16 years, My grandson has been in Little League since he was 4. So they attend every game since, nowhevis in HS , a pitcher on the tea, they are crushed as the A’s are moving to Vegas anyway…great pie again, Pangie x .

This poem was inspired by the sounds of a crowd at a baseball game. I was struck by the fact that as a crowd cheers, or groans, or sighs or weeps or sings, it does so with one voice. Samba, you are my favorite poetic expositor of music and the deeper meanings beneath the score. The unity found in combining diverse musical parts into one cohesive whole is an excellent source for your artistry. I just love the section of sighs/ joy/ lament/ laughter/ grief/ apprehension/ quivering - one is reminded of the scriptural admonition to "rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. Love the ending lines as well. Like singing Handel's Messiah, your words leave me breathless. Exceptional, edifying, enthralling and erudite; truly worthy of your win and POTD... another Fav.
