The Joy of Watching Animals

This true story must be told,

about my loving dog and God.

Fox Face aka dog,

was rescued from the pound on Easter.

Fox Face had been beaten by her owners,

and that made her very shy.

She was filled with love,

and sweet angel kisses.
One day she was resting on my bed,

I knelt down to pray.

Fox Face watched me with her intent look.

She rolled on her back,

put her paws together and prayed with me.

I could not believe my eyes,

my Fox Face was praying with me.

Every time I prayed,

she would also pray.

One day I asked her,

are you praying with me.

Yes was her answer,

her smile grew to a mile wide.

Well Paula, isn't it funny that perhaps our animals could be more evolved than we are? If and when I meditate which honestly I haven't too much lately, my cat loves to curl up and join me. Cute little fox face who fortunately found you. God bless.

Thanks for your note. For many years I have said, "there are animals that are animals and then there are animals that are people in a fur coat." (I have had both.) I heard a vet say this some thing on TV one day. She was one in a million and I still miss her. Have a great/blessed day.............
