This is Tess!!

they body shame they spew hate posts dipped in virulent venom vehemence for the voluptuous crazy mad about the curves mocking the well stocked where do they get all the hate wait!!! they manufacture it burning off calories they work themselves into hate hysteria zero sized is no prize what makes thin, in? Beauty goes through phases women through their crazes must fit the body type that's the hype fashion famished emaciated models thigh gap miles wide poking bones they can't hide unhealthy unwell they send the fat ones to hell well.... big booty bullies think they'll get away with what they write with what they say they have no shame lame...they're so lame!! haters will hate to give a damn? it's too late! Beauty isn't a size it's in what you see with your eyes the beauty within is not limited to fat or to thin it's the size of your heart so shut up and get smart Listen to this big girl Take a bow, take a twirl Sexy unbound to size GET WIZE! Be Body Beauty Brave Silence the Shamers Give them a smile knowing what you do about BARE truth: Better to have thick thighs than thick sick minds.... Eileen Manassian I follow Tess Holliday on Instagram and Facebook. I love that woman. It really angers me what haters write to her. Her message is simple: Big woman have the right to feel beautiful too. Plain and simple. Haters...move on!

I'm glad it does, Richard. I was worried that maybe I was shaming thin people. I haven't received negative vibes on that, so I guess it's ok. Hugs

Dear Eileen: The world would be so boring if we all looked the same size . Plastic, narcissistic people. What is the advantage of being a perfect size ten if you are vain and self interested. What about the beauty that comes from within.....that is what shines on the faces and exudes from our body language no matter what size. Love you girlfriend.....SuZ

I am glad you have had several lovely comments on this 'slam' poem, Eileen. Sorry I took so long to come visit! I hate it when people make fun of others, especially regarding appearance. Looks and size are not everything...there is much more to a woman (and a man!). Great end stanza:) ~ hugs // paul

Sure is a lot of spunk here ... and a great message to share. Beauty standards have changed quite a bit over the years. I remember seeing a 50s poster that literally said, "Put on a few extra pounds for your man." ... can't imagine seeing that today! And Marilyn Monroe? She's considered one of the most beautiful woman, but also would be overweight by today's standards.

... it can swing the opposite way though! There's a difference between being a bit on the large side, and being obese to the point it's unhealthy (thigh gaps ... that's just ridiculous though)

I love women of all shapes & sizes, but most preferably...their great personalities. I read on things like this more often than should be allowed. This is refreshingly powerful.

We of above average size have more of us to love and our hearts are bigger than the skinny ones who have no heart. NEVER let anyone criticize your size You are beautiful inside and out and that makes them hate what they can not be. We need to love who we are because God never makes a mistake. Hugs to you and love Edith

When I was 17, I dated a girl that weighed 98 lbs. Sure it was fun to lift her in midair during those friendly times, but like your poem says, you see every bone. Plus, when I hugged her, it was like hugging a five foot seven pencil. To me, a woman is the most beautiful and sexy when she has some extra. I liked your poem.

Those last two lines say it all. I love your spirit, Eileen. I like how you take an issue with society and call the bullies out. It's bold and brave, big and beautiful, smart and attractive. Always, Laura

Bullies have no business bullying others, Laura. They do it because there is something terribly wrong with them. They do it out of pain born of their own insecurities. It really upsets me. Big women are beautiful women, no matter what society says. :) Thanks for the kind visit, dear.

Thanks, Nette. I appreciate the visit. People in Lebanon are very...critical. They are very into appearances. It's hard to be a woman of size here. :( The choice of clothing is limited. Not only that....but plastic surgery is rampant here. Woman are always striving for the PERFECT look. How can they keep pushing themselves to these impossible ideals, I will never know. Thanks for the visit, dear.

Eileen, unfortunately society are brainwashed by what is popular but in the end all that has no meaning because when its all stripped away your heart and soul that's all that matters. This is an awesome poem - hugs Wilma

OH...that is so so sad. I know. Peer pressure starts at a very early age. Wanting to look a certain way is what causes a lot of girls to become bulimic and anorexic. I hope you can give your child all the support she needs. I was so worried at some point that my daughter would succumb to some sort of eating disorder. So far...she's doing Ok. Thank God.

Haters gotta hate. Personally, I prefer a woman with a few speed bumps. LOL. I'm not going to cliche' you. Anybody that has life inside knows beauty resides in the heart. Peace my sweet friend:)

As Little Red Riding Hood said "Grandma, what BIG eyes you have. Eileen, I wrote a poem some time ago regarding the perceptions of our interpretations of people. The last line reads "when I don't see them.....will I then be able to see them." Love this poem and its sentiments.

Yes, dear...I'm upset for her. Today some troll posted a pic of her face on Ursula's body(seawitch from Disney's Little Mermaid), with a thought bubble that showed she only has Mac Donalds on her mind. She's pregnant as some other person wrote..I HOPE YOU DON'T EAT YOUR BABY. I don't understand this level of hate. It's beyond me. Why it's it so hard to live and let live. Anyway...thanks for your lovely comment. Hugs
