Five fingers of joy
slyly, coyly burgles; he's
absconding with koi.
As you like it, as you wish;
carpe carpum: seize the fish!

It is an intoxicated-by-success fish thief in Tanka very much. I reckon, in strength, The Poem matches The Longest Well-crafted picaresque.
