Taking A Look Inside

Should a man dare to look within? Search secret places of hidden sin? The lack of which could be exhilarating, But those long loss, debilitating. Even those revealed can be a gift, Confession, forgiveness, they could give a lift. Or an insight into his authenticity, Could open his eyes that he might see. Through the illusion, that’s led him astray, Guiding him back to his intended way. Leading to personal responsibility, Helping him become all he can be. All men have sinned, falling short of perfection, Often frustrated by their illusionary perception.

Impressive advice, my friend. The ones who are revealed have the potential to be gifted; confessing wrongdoing or receiving atonement can be empowering. Or a glimpse into his authenticity—very well put!

An introspection into self will give us an awareness of our sins and failings. With contrition, our sins will be forgiven. When we get ready for Christmas, through a good confession, we can clean up our conscience and get prepared to receive infant Jesus in our heart. As always, your sonnets are so beautiful and I love them.

Thank you, my dear friend, Valsa. Your words are a joy to my heart. Yes, this is the month we celebrate the birth of Jesus here in the U.S.A. It gives me a whole month to reflect on this year and what it has meant to my life having God with me each day. Smiles and Blessings Bill

A man must search within for there are no sins hidden from our Father. Only one human was born without sin, and that was so we could be saved from our fault of sinning.. Forgivable if sorrowfully admitted. Your thoughts are faith bound, Bill.

Love those last two lines of your sonnet Bill. If only more would realize that a savior has made himself available. Not that the ransom is a license to sin. Jude shot that notion down in his letter
