“Surrender is like fish finding the current and going with it” Mark Nepo
Love's a gamble; there are no rules,
and yet, it's all-or-nothing stakes.
But the odds do not favor fools
chipping at my heart till it breaks.
You smile, and my heart skips a beat
as my pulse swiftly starts to race.
For, staying calm, is no small feat
when I see that smile light your face.
Trust imbues love with wings of hope
to pursue a heart pure and true.
And I've severed my safety rope,
surrendering myself to you.
But in surrender, I found bliss
as two halves made each other whole.
For; when passion fuels each kiss,
love morphs into one heart and soul.
