I'm so tired to speak, so words remain asleep it's a suicide of speech. There is so much to say. I fight silent soldiers of suppression - terrorising like hisses from snakes. Fragile expressions become a potpourri of poisoned petals - melting like snow hit by sunshine it's a suicide of speech. Another battle lost to your wicked war of words. Or is it the mind overthinking? No immunisation for ignorance, when you only see a machine without heart. I'm mute like dripping blood it's a suicide of speech. Concealing truth under sorrow's veil, so they only see my misleading smile - they can never kill that. After all I'm too tired to speak, so let my words sleep it's a suicide of speech. When so many words are wasted in careless and needless ways, and one's words are cast aside by those who won't/don't want to listen, these words make such a bold statement and such a strong impact; 'I'm mute like dripping blood' - the silence of which says so much! Belated congrats, Silent One, on your worthy and well-deserved recognition with POTD honors. Warmest wishes always, my inspiring friend.. ~Susan

Deep and philosophical S.O - people are often mindless when involved in conversation, blank eyes say it all , a suicide of speech - your verse ' concealing truth under sorrows veil, so they can only see my misleading smile - they can never kill that' says a great deal - your words are always worthy though S.O. Congratulation my friend on your POTD incredible write. Blessings, Jennifer.

Powerful message, excellent write. Your alliterations underscore your disdain - "silent soldiers of suppression", "potpourri of poisoned petals", "wicked war of words". Well-deserved POTD.

Such a deep intense poem SO that I can relate to it also. For so often people do not listen to the words we speak, and you feel like screaming out to them, but there is no point, for maybe they do not really care enough to listen, they are so wrapped up in themselves! Many congratulations on POTD. With kindest thoughts Ann xx
