Storms

Lightening breaks the sky into pieces Again and again it asserts its might Each strike is both fear and pleasure It's vivid beauty adorns the dark night There is a fascination in the unsettled sky Mysteries that deify simple thought For man is but a speck in the universe Oh what questions the storm has brought 6/28/14

Deep thoughts here which storms can bring if we get past the fear. Love the imagery of lightning breaking the sky into pieces. Very enjoyable brevity. PS: thanks for the recent comments on my work. I appreciate your time and energy.

As Ralph mentioned below, storms nowadays sure throw questions at us. And the main question is, what damage does she bring? All the best for the contest, James :)
