Sentinel, oh, Sentinel Sentinel, oh sentinel, lofty by the sea; lonely on a craggy coast, standing tirelessly. Watching over ships that sail in the dark of night, guiding them ashore with its welcome blinking light. Storms rise up, assailing it - fierce and turbulent - causing waves to pound it with mighty discontent. Let the tempests clamor and crash! They cannot fell our towering, resilient, stalwart sentinel! You always have wonderful flow to your poems, Andrea ... never do I stumble at the words. It's amazing to me how that lighthouse survives such an onslaught of water. I believe you captured that well ... best of luck!

Go on the coastline of Upper Michigan and you'll see a few of these towers. I think, considering the power of Lake Superior, they may find use in fierce storms. It would be interesting to find out. Love, daver
