Santa lost his glasses Sight was blurred he couldn't see Stopping there to bring Toys Stepped in a cold Outhouse Slid down the toilet seat Swearing, not the Chimney Surprised, his Reindeer laughed I hope everyone had a Jolly Christmas. Wishing everyone a safe and Healthy New Year

Michael you give me a good laugh when you write humorous poems. This one is no exception. It is time for Santa to take a years leave and go to the CARIBBEAN maybe, sure Mrs Clause would love it, they have to start preparation early ever year to reach all the girls and boys, so hope they have a break from the cold frosty weather and are well prepared for this years prepartions for CHRISTMAS 2025! Dear Andrea you did giving me advice Dear so I took your advice re wrote the poem and erased your comment, no disrespect intended. You were right in your advice it was my first time writing one and I did not read the criteria but when I checked it never mentioned the syllable count but when I googled it did say six syllables. Our Christmas Joe was quiet. Delivered a pizza to an older gentleman friend named Ed who is a retired teacher and Basketball coach. Hi wife was in Canada visiting her Grandchildren and he was alone at home. He loves my NY style pizza and we had a slice talked for a while and said our goodbyes, he's a good friend, has bought many cars from me and his wife and him are great friends.
