Quotable

I may not be quotable Or get my own book But one thing is notable And sometimes worth a look I write from my heart Then my head gets less stressed Just one word and I start Though my techniques aren't the best Poetry is useful to purge and to see Finding solutions for troubles or setting them free Exploring the issues, drawing them out Bringing truth to where once there was doubt So being quotable is not my aim I pursue enlightenment from heart to brain I hope poetry will soothe away the pain Serenity is my hope to eventually attain 1st Place Writing Challenge - 'Q' Words - Poetry Contest 30th March 2023 Sponsored by: Constance La France
