Thrush Painting, Fine Arts of America
nothing is more beautiful than a forest in Fall_
the trees with a burnt orange and red blush
oh, listen to the haunting songs of the thrush
and squirrels dash wild and then slowly crawl
and each leaf is painted with an artist's brush
the streams are flowing over rocks with a rush
and the wildflowers though weak still sprawl
now, I stand and listen to each lovely bird call _
there is a peace in Fall that brings joy
where violins of the forest are beautifully whining
yes, this is a seasonal change that I truly enjoy
oh, listen as eagles in the sky are screeching
and in trees song birds are woven in the tapestry
of Fall's majestic beauty and pageantry
