I go to nature to find my calmness and tranquility,
To still my mind in the deep green- to repose quietly;
Oh the sylvan birds sing to me from towering trees lovely.
And in the deep forest I find my restful serenity,
The lush green inspires my muse to sweet creativity;
Grand and venerable nature stands placid in its own fragility.
Trees primeval, ancient and mysterious with divinity,
It feels that I have slipped into a strange world of antiquity;
The canopy- like a church dome that I must bow my head in humility.
I go to nature to find my own sweet serendipity,
And I leave in a trance of wondrous and amazing possibility.
