Mourning Due

Mourning due Not because I've lost you But that I've lost myself in you Countless battles Bottles forged Each mourn forgiven Not forgotten true Thick fog condensation Turning gold to fool You are lush I vast green Covered in your dew Your damage Addiction And your love All of these are true But losing myself In loving you Is this mourning's due.

You just unzipped the covers of my mind to the unprecedented worship of your adorable lines with a powerful choice of words that can't just be ignored. Showers of your wisdom is well palpated in this page and the only thing I can say is a big WELL DONE! Can't wait to have more of your mental command flowing through my reading mind.

A very emotively poignant write Maureen. It's better to turn your back on bad situation to prevent further damage and live an optimistic new life...Maria

Unfortunately I can relate to this amazing piece. What is important is recognizing the damage done to yourself in enabling that loved one, then getting out before it's too late. This is a real gem of wisdom! : )

I am saddened to hear that while also encouraged by your words Connie. My eyes are finally opened, so far so are his. I will not be ill treated again. I have hope more than faith at this point, well ready to go it alone. "Enough is enough" :) xomo! (& thank you!)

The play on words is one of the strong points of this poem, dear. I like it! Losing oneself in another who is not worthy is tough. Thanks for your visit to my work, dear...and for the email. I've been so busy of late. It is only today that I decided to set things aside for a while and get back to my friends. :) Hugs
