Paula, thank you so much my friend! The full moon in July - a super moon - was so spectacular I wanted to capture a bit of moonlight. So fun to know you experienced the magic of this moon! Sending you many blessings and gratitude.

Hi Linda! Thank you so much! When thinking about a July sky even though nighttime doesn't have the lively colors of the day, the night seems to shimmer in iridescence. So glad you enjoyed my jaunt through a summer evening. All the best!

Creative look at the night sky, Sam. I think this would have done better as a quatrain since tanka needs a type of juxtaposition similar to a haiku. Congrats and thanks for supporting my contest.

A visual treat ..... ! Ebony night, weaving moon beam spells, shooting stars whooshing past and polar stars singing and swaying...! What a melange of scenes to be witnessed in sky's big opera hall....! Beautiful, dear Sam.

Thank you so much Valsa! Love your analogy of the "sky's big opera hall!" The summer sky is indeed a beautiful gift of shooting stars, new constellations and full moons cradled in warm summer nights! It is serenity personified! Thanks for sharing the summer sky with me! Sending you blessings of starry skies and lovely evenings!

Thank you sweet friend! On a warm summer night I could just sit and look at the starry night sky, listen to the crickets and let God's peace fill every part of me! Thank you for sharing in this delightful experience with me! Blessings and hugs!
