Anaya, Thank you for the nice review of my work. I appreciate the time spent here. I like the way Peacocks sound, but some people are not too thrilled by them. Sara

'coo coo caw caw chirp' - please send them my way!... I am sitting here at 9:20 p.m., listening to a rooster going off in the middle of a Chicago neighborhood of postage stamp-sized yards. It's about two doors down. Come Spring, when windows are open, that rooster goes!! lol. :) gw

Gershon, I know at times they can be annoying but at times comforting. Your visit has been interesting for sure. I am sure there are other birds singing their hearts out, but you just haven't heard them because of the other sounds surrounding you. Thanks for your interesting comment. Sara

Gershon, We have across the creek which is probably 1/4 of a mile some roosters who crow for us each day, but I have not been hearing them lately. The man who did live there grew Banty roosters which are a fighting breed. His health got bad, and he sold or gave the property to daughter and her husband. He moved farther down the road. Sara
