In This Beautiful Song

I can hear the violins in the music Calming my soul, just as you do With your kindness, empathy and care The strings are played softly, With a flute blending in as well The music moves like sailing, Gliding easily across the waters I can hear your words the same, Your interest with such patience Like the sail, waiting to turn With each shift of the wind Piano begins to play simple, high, notes The lower ones are reflecting the tune Like the sweet, simple things That connect us, note by note --- In this beautiful song --- Heidi Sands 9/2/17

Hi John. Actually I didn't know lol. Thank you for visiting this poem. I do have some lyrics I still need to put in here for a couple of my actual songs, and maybe some more music, but it has also been hard to sit long to play at the keyboard with a neck injury. If I can more in time, I would still like to work on music to one of your lyrics. Thank you for the kind comment on this :)
