My grandpa was so nice, I loved his laugh, he was always there to give us a hug. Grandpa left us for up above too soon, it was his heart. Hugs live on as memories. One grandpa died when I was two. It wasn’t until a few years ago I heard how he used to play with me. I always thought about him too.

You are a master of many forms, Constance, and you write so skillfully in all of them. When my Polish grandfather died, I was about to turn five. It was a sad time, much like the one you describe here. Beautifully penned! Surely a winner, Hon. Hugs, Carolyn

Carolyn, thanks for the compliment, well I can write almost any form except I cannot do iambic pentameter or any meter for that matter, yes losing grandpa really left a hole in our family and changed grandma's life forever _Constance
