Gentle On My Mind
When dusk induces lusty eyes to tear,
I seek your touch and loving embrace.
Your sensual voice I desire to hear
whispering soft nothings against my face.
The silence of the night consoles me
as you lie beside my shivering form.
Your skin against mine is apogee
with promise of sweet caresses warm.
And when the dawn begins to rise
I find you still within my reach.
You accept my kisses as your prize
and your ardent passion I beseech.
For all the stars are now aligned,
as you lie gentle on my mind.
