From My Diary : Introspection
Gentle winds warm my old and wrinkled skin
As feet begin to sink in sea's soft sand
Seabirds found warmest winds to glide again
Beyond gray contours of waves and land
Silhouettes with wings have begun to dive
And feast on fish coming into my view
I'll sit and wait for sunset to arrive
Know life is filled with moments passing through
Though I can pause for such a quiet scene
And reflect on the souls who've come before
Who saw the same seas and sounds in between
Wondered like I and sat upon this shore
I'll think about the world and humankind
Hope the next soul here will reflect in kind
