Forgiveness

In dreams, I wander through time's chime, Acts committed, causing pain in rhythmic crimes. Suffering echoes in a remorseful dance, Seeking forgiveness, I yearn for a chance. Grant me pardon for my soul's misdirection, Heal the deep dent, end this inner infection. Forgive the others, let love be my reflection, A symphony of mercy, a divine connection. Sins aplenty, more than the seven sins' array, Guilt shadows dreams, lingering night and day. God's forgiveness, a beacon in the dark, Love and affection, an eternal spark. In dreams and reality, guilt intertwined, A sacred plea, a repentant mind. God's mercy, a balm for the contrite, Forgiveness flows, washing away the night. POTD poem Dec. 25, 2023

A beautiful remorseful poem, Jay. I sure glad we have a forgiving God. I don't deserve it but certainly desire to be forgiven for all the mistakes I've made in life. The Christmas season gives me hope in Him that the price of all my sins has been paid. Smiles and Blessings, my friends. Congratulations on your POTD! Enjoy your special day of recognition. Bill

We are all likely to err. But God is all forgiving before contrite hearts. Be comforted that God will wash away the sins from your soul... be it blood red. He will turn it into sow white. Great Poem. Missed seeing this as POTD. Congratulations dear Jay

' Forgive others, let love be my reflection. ' This is the right attitude to have. Remembering that, God forgives and forgets. Always strive to follow His example, even though it may be difficult at times. Congratulations Jay, on Poem of the Day. Many wonderful blessings to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

Namaste, Jay. Let me, beyond first say, forgive my late review of your exposé on 'Forgiveness' and how it bandies about between the how & now of life and which one will play out--if ever. Albeit, when of the said, is said, --transcends the best of one's life will ever be. Cheers to POTD for your righteous exposition. Aloha from Hawaii, William

Not always easy to do but if we don't do it can make us twisted and bitter. We all make mistakes in life and shouldn't be too quick to judge others. Congratulations Jay on the honour of POTD. Tom
