Congratulations, Barbara, on placing in Brian’s “Twenty & Five” contest. Excellent write! It reminds me of the time that my Grandmother was babysitting for my "hyperactive" daughter. They went to the playground beside the apartment's laundry room so my daughter could swing. When I picked her up, Grandmother was practically hysterical as she told me that my child had been swinging so high that she went 360 degrees over the top of the swing-set. Exaggeration? No, says daughter when grown! SMILES-

Oh, as a child I used to feel like I was about to soar off into space when I rocked full-force on the swing. You have brought back a wonderful memory for me in this delightful poem, Barbara! Miss my LNC, too. Still trying to get settled in Ormond Beach. Love, Carolyn

By the way Barbara...thanks for the comments on the Haiku. I've gotten some help from Raul and also been studying every Haiku I see on Poetry Soup. I was using words instead of syllables. Check them out now. Enjoy all your work....Marty
